The colors had only just begun to change in the trees but the views were completely breathtaking regardless! I've seen the mountains from many different vantage points and NONE have ever come close to the views from the balloon!! Our pilot, Jim, was the nicest guy and made us feel at ease and helped us enjoy the experience to the fullest! He is fantastic at his job! Heck! The entire crew was amazing! So efficient and helpful! (Warning: James can hear EVERYTHING! lol) I had been quite nervous before our flight but that feeling left quickly as I was overwhelmed by the awe inspiring views thy surrounded us. When it came my turn the man taking the money said the pilot wanted me to WAIT because my weight of 260 would be too much with the next couple a man & woman, who SHOULD'VE been AFTER my flight! The man asked if I would let this couple go in front of me & he'd get me on the next flight ALONE with pilot. I said ok, but when pilot came back after that flight he wanted me to WAIT AGAIN! I said no & got a refund. I believe the pilot was concerned a storm front was moving in, so he wanted to MAKE MORE MONEY by taking 2 passengers instead of just 1! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've seen other tours offered in various places and couldn't justify the cost for the time in the air. The prices here were very reasonable and it was an experience I'll never forget! The feeling is indescribable and the views were phenomenal. The pilot is was so nice and did a great job pointing out things below. The cabin we stayed at was nice enough, but I'm very much opposed to the way BRC upcharged me for stuff that should be my choice. I call it false advertising or 'bait & switch' when paying these fees becomes mandatory. EX: A cabin that normally rents for $159/night with a 2-night minimum has a mandatory $45 cleaning fee, a $39 insurance fee and 15% sales tax on top of the total. The last time I checked, sales tax in most GA counties was in the range of 6% and last weekend was supposed to be tax-free, right? Not when it came to my invoice. Excuse my math, but check it out: $159 x 2 = $318. $318+$45+$39 = $402. $402 x 1.15 = $462.30, which is actually $231.15/night. Own it, BRC...your cabins are more expensive than you claim.

My husband and I made reservation to Spend Christmas (12-24-13) to (12-26-13), we stayed in # 245 cabin and we were not happy with the place, we had to leave the cabin morning Christmas day. Here is the list of the things that didn't allow us to enjoy our staying at the cabin and basically ruined our Christmas vacation: 1. The heater does not make the room warm at all, we were frizzing all night so unable to sleep. (we were considering leaving the place around 3:00 am) 2. All around the place was dirty: windows and blinds, hair on the pillows and blankets, jacuzzi, spider webs. 3. The bathroom seat is old and need to be replaced. 4. The place does not have a pleasant smell when entering the cabin. 5. Everything looks super old and many things were broken or malfunctioning. We spoke with them trying to get at least half of our money back, but they said no, this people are so unprofessional.
