OMG this the the HD of knives, fishing, hunting, apparel, Cabelas , Bass Pro and so much more. Definitely a must see. I was there for over 90 minutes and didn't see half of what they have in the 3-4 floors through the store. Employees everywhere to help you out. This is what customer service used to be like. amazing.

When they say world's largest showcase , I finally understand why after walking through it myself. There are multiple floors packed with every kind of knife you can imagine , and just when you think you've seen it all, there's another level waiting. You go upstairs and see knives, downstairs and see knives, then downstairs again and yep... more knives . I honestly lost track of how many floors there were and felt overwhelmed more than once ‍, in the best and most exhausting way. They do accept credit cards , but cash is clearly preferred , which is good to know before you commit. What surprised me most was the limited number of registers, marked by blue balloons 14, which felt small for a place this massive. By the time I finally chose a knife after navigating through hundreds of options and people, the checkout line was easily 14 to 15 folks deep . Parking is ample , though on a busy day it can still feel a bit tight. This is easily a two day visit minimum if you want to explore without rushing. And who knew the world's largest knife destination would be in Knoxville .

Smokey Mountain Knife Works is a very unique place and came highly recommended.( if you're squeamish about seeing all kinds of real animals that have been stuffed and displayed, then this is not the place for you.) That being said, upon entering I can see why this is such a unique store. It's 108,000 sq foot knife showroom which is the world's largest. It houses a vast collection of high-quality cutlery memorabilia, artifacts, and mounts, optics as well as every type of knives and outdoor equipment you can think of. . SMKW has two levels. They have a ramp that goes all around the store, besides steps. There is also water that flows down into the lower level. Everyone throws coins in the water and makes a wish.( see my video.) I spent 2 hours walking around. It's broken down into sections because they offer so many interesting and practical items besides knives, guns, bullets, clothing, tactical, and housewares, etc. As I walked around there was so much to see from all the displays. On the main floor is all kinds of knives displayed in glass cases, and behind the counter and in framed pictures on the wall as I walked around. They also have work and camo clothing on this floor. . In another area on the same floor is guns, ammo, rifles, tactical gear, etc. Each area has staff that are knowledgeable and helpful. This place gets so busy so there are times when you will have to wait to be helped but on the whole, the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. On the lower level is cutlery, all kinds of cooking knives, pots n pans, knickknacks, and every kind of gadget imaginable. There is also several tables that are what I call the sale tables, and you can find all kinds of knives reasonably. You must be 18 years old in order to pick them up. I bought a heavy duty sheet pan made in the USA and a 9x9 heavy duty baking cake pan, jumbo muffin pan, pairing knife and cute spoon rest with my name on it. My boyfriend bought a huge sword, and a Japanese style single blade chopping/ slicing knife. Everyone is encouraged to try on historical looking armor and a sword, and sit on a thrown style chair for a photo op.( see pictures.) You can pick up geodes, different kinds of stones, and fossils. Since there's so many knives of all kinds, grades and styles, prices may vary.I really can't say if it's a bargain or not, but the quality is there. This place is wheelchair friendly and has handicap parking. My time spent here was a fun one. I definitely recommend making the trip. .

The very, very large center display in this very, very large store.

You could probably spend days here looking at knives from $19.99 to OVER $1,000. Every imaginable kind or type of knife. Then you can go through the history section where you can buy things from the Revolutionary War, through World War II. In addition they have guns, pistols, rifles, ammo and everything to do with firearms. The staff is friendly, helpful and can direct you when you lose your way in this multi-story establishment.

    Not just knives!

They have a very large selection of knifes, guns and ammunition. The building is rather small for the amount of traffic in and out though.

I would recommend checking out their website. I have carrying a Swiss Army Knife for over 20 years, so I have no idea what the current pricing is. Also, there is quite a wide variety and styles.

They aren't as commercial as the other boats, so we experienced a more chill ride in my opinion. I heard some of the other guides hollering at their rafters, "paddle, paddle, paddle!"! I'm so glad this place doesn't employ drill sergeants lol This was my first time water rafting and I chose the level 3/4 route. I'm so glad I did because we were able to experience some amazing splashes! Yes, you will be drenched on this route, and I loved every second of it! You have to paddle, and I was paired up with an amazing group of 5 other people who I immediately meshed well with! If you're thinking about white water rafting, do it! I will say, I'm not the most adventurous when it comes to water, but there were 2 places where the water was level and calm that my guide let us jump out and swim. Again, I am usually not one to do something like this, but it was my birthday so I allowed myself to totally embrace the moment. The water felt amazing, and I had the time of my life!
