They make it sound like it would be an experience, though it was pretty much a regular tasting with three rows of cheese and three stacks of crackers. Considering that we had purchased three of the Groupons you would think that they would have maybe fluffed it up a little bit, I thought maybe we would have been tasting our wine while we had our cheese, but we just stood at the counter doing shots of wine which was somewhat tasteless. I get that they don't use extra flavors, but it was pretty nondescript. The view from the back porch was nice however we did need to purchase something to wash down the cheese, and it had to ask for our souvenir glass, which I think possibly if I didn't ask for it they wouldn't have offered. I don't know if I would recommend this place? They were very friendly, and accommodating somewhat. I know I wouldn't waste my money on the Groupon experience.

They were incredibly friendly, and really took the time to explain the different wines and help us figure out what we liked best. The tasting itself was so much fun and definitely the highlight. There's a wide variety of wines to try, especially if you enjoy sweeter, fruity flavors. Everything we sampled was actually really good, flavorful, and unique, you can tell they put a lot of love into what they make. I've come to learn that the wines and ciders in Gatlinburg run SWEET and honestly I love it. Of all the spots, I feel like the alcohol content may have been the lowest here. So my wife ended up getting nothing and we just left. Other establishments have accepted it as well as the entire state of Virginia, so it appears to be a specific rule for them. Respect, but I would recommend saving the time and your money and go elsewhere, which is what I recommended to our larger group when they were gonna go there. Would hate for them to get there there and get denied service "sorry we can't accept IDs where the default font is times new roman" or something, as there is clearly some weird rules here.
