We had such a great experience with Smooth Flow. About a month ago our septic filter clogged, and we were told by someone else that we needed to have the tank pumped right away. Today the crew came out, inspected everything thoroughly, and gave us honest advice -- they told us the tank didn't actually need pumping for several more years. They could have taken our money, but instead they saved us $300 and explained what to watch out for and how to take care of our system moving forward (including a timeline). This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Smooth Flow Septic has no regard for the customers property and the mess they leave behind. I told them to be careful as my sprinkler system lines were in the area. They hit the lines and when they knew they had hit them, they just keep going and ripped out over 50 feet of pipe by the roots. They ran over a solar light. When they pulled the hose out of my tank, I looked into the tank and it was not fully pumped out. Chris told me that he needed to leave some in the tank to get it going again. I now know that it was because the truck was full and they didn't want to empty it and come back. No telling how many other customers they did the same to. I asked them to compact the removed dirt and they didn't do it, so I now need to dig down and compact the dirt so I don't have a sink hole. | |This happened on a Wednesday. Between that Wednesday and Friday I found that this company had left several messages on my answering machine wanting me to pay the bill now and they even left a message that they were on the way to the Sheriff's office to take a warrant out for non payment. Then they sent an email that stated they sued me in Small Claims Court. I really didn't think they sued me, but they really did and this was just 2 days after they did the job. | |So, I went to Court and the Judge reduced the amount I needed to pay Smooth Flow Septic for the job. | | |Bottom line is you need to stay far away from this company. read more
