So, normally this place is great. The staff there is friendly and the service is accurate and fast. In fact, we just went last night. However, this afternoon was a different story. I placed my order online and went to pick up my smoothie. I went in and it wasn't ready. I waited ten more minutes and went back inside. It still wasn't ready. Two of the guys were chit-chatting and the two girls were cleaning up. I asked one if she knew where my drink was. She looked at the order on my phone, and said, "Oh yeah, someone took yours by accident. I will make it now." ...and this is one of those places that ask for gratuity at checkout which I fell for. So, why didn't someone start re-making my order as soon as they knew someone else had taken mine? Perhaps, communication behind the counter could have taken place, instead of chit-chatting amongst the guys. read more

My small Greek Yogurt Strawberry/Blueberry Smoothie was worth the price. The fruit was fresh and the yogurt added a bit of tartness. The smoothie was not too sweet for me and it was a great end to a long hot day of fun. They offer many fruit combinations as well as some limited time Coffee flavored options. You can add protein powders and extra fruit to any drink you like . I am sure I will make a couple of trips to a Smoothie King this summer . read more

This particular smoothie king has some of the best employees and also some of the worst . My order has been made incorrectly so many times I've lost count . I brought this to the attention of the owner, as he happened to be at the store. He essentially blamed me and said that I needed to repeat myself multiple times for his employees to get the order correct They need a manager to improve the order accuracy and overall service If you have allergies I would be skeptical of ordering anything g from here due to the inconsistent service. read more

Greeted by Jennifer. Place is clean. Lots of seating. Ordered a Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie. They do not serve Soy Protein. I can't have (Whey) since it has Gluten. Sizes available are small, medium and large. Ordered a small. Their portions are VERY GENEROUS. My smoothie is o.k. But, prefer Tropical Smoothie. Taste creamier and more flavor when it comes to the fruits. They also serve fresh salads. Did not see that here. Will search Yelp for the Tropical S. places. FYI: Smoothies Freeze Very well. I have been ordering the cinnamon Latte flavored coffee protein smoothie almost every morning. They announce that this flavor is no longer available but for an extra $1 they can add the 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon to the vanilla flavor. This is a 15% increase in price. I spend over $250 a month at this store and now they expect me to pay an extra 15%. Quite ridiculous. One of the employees who clearly understands the importance of customer service said that I could order the chocolate flavor and exchange for cinnamon so there is not an extra 15% increase in an already high priced smoothie. However the weekend staff who clearly has not been trained on customer service skills as they said they can not do this. It is unfortunate for this store that they will be losing my $250 a month because the staff are not able to accomodate their customers. Customers are what pay for the employees salaries, something they clearly do not understand. If the owner is reading this, you need to develop a customer service program for your employees or you will slowly lose your customers and you will be another statistic of small businesses that end up closing their doors. read more

I went in for the first time (they don't have Smoothie Kings where I'm from). I ordered a keto berry and while waiting for my sister's drink I guess I was making faces of distaste (the protein they use isn't yummy) and Chloe saw me and offered to make me something that I might like instead. She asked me what I like and made me a gladiator berry drink. It came out delicious. She was so nice and wanted me to leave with a drink I liked. Great smoothies but the service infrastructure needs some fine tuning. Plan To Go because there is really no space here. Also plan to wait! The biggest problem is ordering, waiting for the smoothie, and then waiting to check out! Why can't patrons just order, pay, and then grab and go as soon as the COLD beverage comes up? Your smoothie may go to soup while it sits on the prep deck as you stand in line waiting for the register. Hope that they are not busy and that the cashier knows what he/she is doing!!! read more

Even though it is usually PACKED, every visit seems to be better than the last...fom the free samples, to the tips from the staff on great deals, and their Text & VIP programs, a different deal every day of the week... this place is AMAZING! They even have a jar where you can drop in your business card for the chance to win smoothies for your WHOLE office! I like Smoothie King. Well kind of. I like the idea of it and I like smoothies, but I think that it is a bit overpriced and I find the flavors a bit strange at times. I can't really complain beside that at all. I just don't care for them as much as other smoothie places. I have been to many Smoothie King's around this area, and even in other states. They never compare to this store. I have been coming in a couple times a week for over a year, and the service and smoothies are always amazing. Almost every single staff member remembers my name and my favorite smoothie. Not one thing wrong with the smoothie, but when you go in for a 5 dollar smoothie make sure to get your receipt. When I asked for me receipt they had charged me 8. Asked me to wait on the side. Then after cashing out a bunch of other people they said here is a free smoothie card for the inconvenience. I said thank you and how about my overcharged smoothie and she said oh you would rather have that then a free smoothie card? Yes. So I don't think there customer service is on target here. Portions are huge, prices are reasonable, all the smoothies I've had were delicious, and the staff was friendly. A lot of discounts are offered: student, military, and others; just ask about what discounts are offered, tell them which one applies to you, and a lot of the times they won't check (which may or may not be a bad thing). On Fridays, all medium (40oz I think) smoothies are $5!! I usually ask for my smoothies "skinny" to reduce the sugar and calories, and I still think the smoothies taste great. Not often packed, except on Fridays, but the most I've waited for a smoothie was 10 minutes. There are some sofas to relax on while waiting. You can browse the supplements and equipment (like blender bottles) that are local school themed - FSU, UF, etc. read more
