I recommend using the app to order ahead of time and avoid Friday before lunch ($5 Smoothie day) As far as smoothie king in general they seem to have made good in their promises of getting some better ingredients and they no longer have plastic cups. Never once have I ever visited a Smoothie King until last night. I ate lunch around 12p and it kept me full all night so I decided on a liquid dinner here, 2 doors down from Crumbl Cookies, my wife was having a craving for. I walked in to just one other person in line and decided to go over the menu. This may be the most overwhelming and confusing menu I've ever seen. Would you like a smoothie with energy boost, mental focus, vegan, fruity, salty...would you like extra whey and so on. I knew what I was craving and asked the young staff member what she could make based on my craving for vanilla, banana and PB. I ended up getting a 32 oz "Hulk" smoothie and it was fantastic!!! Honestly, it tasted better than a DQ milkshake and was probably a whole lot better for me. I consumed the smoothie in about 30 mins and felt full with a small burst of energy until about 9 pm. It was nice. I know this is a chain and many know the name, Smoothie King, but I had no idea they could be this good. My only recommendation? Simplify this menu please. I didn't know where to start and where to end and had it not been for the awesome young lady, guiding me through this ordering roller coaster, I may not have gotten what I was expecting. The staff are always helpful and they seem to keep the same consistency each time I come no matter who makes the smoothie. They have a wide variety of smoothies you can choose from and loads of toppings you can add to them (proteins, flavors, etc). They even sell all sorts of snacks to assist your muscle building needs. I'm extremely disappointed by the management here. All I want is a scoop of almond butter in my Açaí bowl, not regular peanut butter but the owner absolutely forbids her employees from substituting. I worked in food & bev for half a decade and the fact they can't do this is pretty absurd. The employees are literally scared of losing their job over a scoop of almond butter. Take your business to Anissa's Spot right down the road where you can get a custom delicious Açaí bowl and the owner actually cares about her customers. That being said, I am usually the girl who gets the chocolate and peanut butter smoothie because I want something that tastes good and will fill me up for a few hours. Smoothie King has a MASSIVE menu with Fitness Blends, Slim Blends, Wellness Blends, Take a Break Blends and Kids' Cups. If you want something light and healthy, there are so many options to try and enjoy. If you want to add to any of their smoothies there are a ton of options including fitness enhancers (muscle builder or protein), energy enhancers (energy boost or pure recharge), slim enhancers (diet down) and wellness enhancers (fiber, multi-vitamin, probiotics, immune boosters and super grains). If you aren't in the mood for a smoothie, they also offer a variety of snacks, chips and bars. My favorite smoothie is the Peanut Power Plus Chocolate which is so good that you can even have it skinny (no sugar added which saves TONS of calories) and the flavor is still AWESOME! Avoid this location at all cost! The few times that I have visited this location to get a smoothie have been awful experiences. Not only is it the slowest operating smoothie king I've ever been to but I'm pretty sure my smoothie today consisted of 90% crushed ice. The smoothie literally tasted like water. As I stood in front of the cashier with my gift card in hand waiting to pay, the smoothie king cashier asked me if I had the rewards app then proceeded to scan my app without telling me that it was going to charge my card on file and pay through the app. So I'm really glad that I paid $9 for crushed ice in a cup! read more

This is my first visit to this new Smoothie King location. It has a LOT of room, is very clean, and the decor I very cheerful. My smoothie - the Banana Boat - is delicious and refreshing. Like Jennifer said in an earlier review, there are tons of selections, more than you know what to do with. I usually stick with two which I flip flop. My go to place for smoothies. I love that the location is close to work and they are consistently good. You can earn rewards and choose add ins to make the smoothie to fit your needs. Staff is always super friendly and greet you when you walk in the door. This place is awesome! The owners are always so attentive and kind. I bring my little ones in often and my 3 year old loves the smoothies! The store is also kept very clean and has an inviting atmosphere. The smoothies are a great alternative for lunch when we are on the run and need something quick but want to avoid the dreaded drive throughs. Smoothie King is always a great choice, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just got the "island impact" and it tastes like the tropics, you wouldn't even know that it's filled with protein and counts as a meal.
