Had a big and late lunch and wanted a light "dinner" and was feeling a smoothie. Of course, searching around all of the "smoothie" places had already been closed, but SoBol came through! Once I took a look at the menu I decided to do the Acai Bowl instead and was glad I did! The different textures and healthy ingredients definitely made my "dinner" exciting. The place is cute and small, with only indoor seating. I place my order and it was prepared right away. (I was also the only customer) I was hoping the açaí mixture to be a bit sweeter but the strawberries+bananas helped with that! Oh and the Nutella that I added to it too! It was a great portion Only reason why I would give it a 3/5 is because I thought it was on the pricier side. I paid $15! Is that what Açaí Bowls cost nowadays? If so, then oops! Other than that, great experience and exactly what I was looking for in a light yet filling dinner.

Finally made our way to SoBol! Great space, clean, and great staff. They offer açaí bowls, smoothies and other treats. I love açaí bowls and I like the they offer other flavors aside from Pitaya or Açaí. I order the pineapple mango açaí and tried the Spirulina açaí. The fruit toppings were fresh and enjoyed the flavors. Can't wait to be be back to try other items.

A smoothie and delicious looking acai bowl. Effortless parking and not busy at all. I had the small Super Green Smoothie. The smoothie had Spinach, Kale, Mango, Banana, Agave, and Almond Milk. Very good option and a great way to consume my vegetables and fruits because I was falling short on fiber for the day. With my busy lifestyle, meetings and just trying to spend less time in my kitchen SoBol was a total life saver for me. SoBol Cary was extremely clean on my visit. Today I was craving something sweet and refreshing so I thought I would stop by SoBol for lunch and try their açaí bowl. I got the kids sized traditional açaí bowl and it was delicious. The fruit tasted fresh and the granola added the perfect crunch. I also liked the kids portion size because it was just enough to fill me up. The presentation of the food was great! The granola they make is the best I've ever had and I've had many after this! Not my favorite. Pros: The place was clean and service was quick which was nice! Cons: Got the melon berry and mango pineapple bowls. They had no flavor except cinnamon. The granola had SO MUCH CINNAMON! That's all you could taste. It also tasted kinda stale to me but my husband liked it. The kiwi was not ripe which sucked bc I paid extra for it. Also something to not if you want to change up the base mix it cost extra ( even if you want to remove an item from it) not a bad thing just something to note. read more

I have been here a few times now and all I've noticed is it's pricy! It's tastes very similar to any other açaí bowl place but the base is pre made and frozen...not fresh. Which doesn't taste that good. Also making any substitutions cost extra (which no other place I've ever been to has done this). Overall nothing special for the price. read more

I enjoyed my smoothie from SoBol-Cary. I ordered the SB Smoothie and added almond butter and spinach. I changed the soy milk for oat milk. Whenever I'm in the area again, I will absolutely go back to SoBol. Perhaps next time I'll try a smoothie bowl. read more

At SoBol Cary we serve Acai bowls, green bowls, fruit smoothies, Cold Pressed Juices, Belgian waffles and fresh coffee and espresso. We believe that eating healthier should never be a chore so we blend our Acai fresh each day, we make our own homemade granola and we use fruits that are delivered to our door fresh every morning. Established in 2012.

Inspired by his family's successful ice house, Jason Mazzarone created the Acai Café in 2012. Jason took his culinary arts degree and background as a chef and teamed up Co-founder Jim Kalomiris, a long time family friend with more than 20 years experience in restaurant management, real estate and construction. You can get a punch card for every coffee and get one free on your tenth purchase. They have a great pastry selection. I got an almond croissant to go for my mom on a recommendation from a friend that said it's a can't miss! The beautiful lady that works there gave me their 2 menu's, the regular menu and the spring menu. They have so many options, from Crepes, to Paninis, to breakfast to lunch to dessert. I sat at a table for a few minutes to browse them. I decided on a hot Hazelnut Brown Sugar Latte and a slice of Banana Bread. Both sooo good!! My first sip of my latte and I was so happy. It's super cute inside of Milo's Cafe. Plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. Even the ladies room is super cute. I'll definitely be back.

Outside has a good amount of sitting and plenty of shade. I've been enjoying trying their monthly specialty drinks. I also like how there are non dairy milk options. There is also a few book clubs, which is cool. Parking feels limited at first but I've learned that you can park in the back back on the grass or the the left side going into the back.

Entirely different vibe at this different location. The coffee doesn't taste any different (sort of ordinary really) but the employees are different. Attitude. It's all attitude. Perhaps the difference is because this spot is frequented by people from the vet school or pet owners like me debating whether caffeine is a good idea when they're already stressed about their fur baby. Shared anxiety. That makes the employee attitude even more important. Nice people. Friendly people. The food here, simple wraps and sandwiches, does taste better for some reason. Even for institutionalized bites, it's served warm, tastes fresh (relative term, I know) and by employees who hand it to you instead of throwing it across the counter with a very much less than sincere "thank you".

This makes for an annoying coffee drinking experience, forcing you to pour the coffee into a new cup and washing the adhesive from your hands. Surely there must be a better way? Smaller adhesives, different adhesives?

Dampf is the name of two brothers who run huge wood fired smokers. Dampf is open Thursday through Saturday, opening at 11:00 am and may often sell out before closing. There is online ordering available but there is no delivery services through Door Dash or UBER EATS at this time. The dining area is rusticly limited to casual dress covered outdoor space that offers picnic tables for seating at Phillips farm. The featured sides are mashed potato salad, coleslaw, beans and elote, along with tasty artisan crafted beverages. I highly recommend! Check them out!

We finally had time to order the Dampf Feast. OMG, This puts bbq I've had in the motherland of bbq, Texas, in second place! Dampf has earned that Michelin star. The beef rib is lean yet tender and flavorful. Melt in your mouth but without the squishy fat in between the meat. It was cooked and rendered to perfection. The rub is delicious. The pork ribs are my new favorite! IF I could somehow marry them with the (and don't hate me for saying this) P.F.Changs Korean BBQ rib sauce, I'd never eat anything else ever again. The pork ribs had a ever so slightly sweet and tangy rub on them. Very tender, hardly any fat so again, a perfect cook and render. The brisket was a tad salty for my preference but oh my, it was cooked to utter perfection. It was melt in your mouth moist and so flavorful. The turkey was very flavorful and will make for excellent sandwiches tomorrow. It was moist, which for turkey, is a testament to their skill. I didn't try the sausages as it's not my thing, our kids loved them. Lastly the pulled pork was the absolute best I've ever had. Period and hands down. Lean, moist and just enough sauce to give flavor. The bbq baked beans were oh so yummy and with a little kick! The fire roasted veggies were done to perfection. Roasted and cooked yet crispy and packed with flavor. I got two and even the kids went back for more! I can say this, Dampf has earned every bit of that Michelin star. Sorry, no pics. There wasn't any time. The whole drive home I was tormented by the aromas wafting in from the trunk. Initially we drove past it because it's a very non descript location but it looked promising being on the property of a farm. They serve out of a food truck so the line forms outside, not a big deal but this day was rather chilly, still, for Texas styled ribs, it's worth the cold. Because we have experience with a Texas styled ribs restaurant (brick and mortar) in PA that would often sell out, we checked the menu for anything crossed out. We checked for any notices indicating items unavailable. There were no such notices and nothing on the menu was crossed out. We got in line and waited. Ten minutes, then twenty and the line barely moved and most of that was due to patrons ahead of us in the line deciding to leave. After an hour, it just over that, someone came and advised that they've been sold out of beef ribs, pork ribs and brisket for 2 hours. Wow. Way to show respect for our time. Why not cross out those menu items? Even after that announcement, they didn't update their menu. I just don't think I can hand over my money to a business that doesn't respect my time or business. EDIT: I received a reply from Dampf and appreciate the courtesy of that reply. We will give them a try, perhaps using the online ordering to be certain we don't show up when something has been sold out.
