The staff could not tell me what the SKN meant and how much sugar would be in my drink if I ordered that way. When I asked to add protein that went fine but when I asked how much more protein am I getting when I added extra, they told me they didn't know and would have to look it up. All in all just people behind the counter who don't know their own product and we're not willing to find out answers they couldn't provide. This is a great place to go. I have been frequently visiting since their opening. My favorite is the island impact without the protein and subbing vegan protein. ( regular causes me migraines) out of every visit they Have only messed up my order once. No matter what I order it is always with vegan protein. Someone else had ordered the same kind of drink that day and I Think they just got my vegan one. They apologized and replaced it immediately. I do miss the games they had on the table to play as my kids really enjoyed sitting to relax with smoothies playing a good game of connect 4. I do wish they would bring that back. Before the pandemic, I traveled the state a lot for business. Smoothie King is my top go-to place because I am guaranteed healthy, whole food in a clean and friendly environment. By far, my favorite Smoothie King is the one in Cedar Park located at 1431! All of the staff, especially the manager, MS. Christie, are the best! I hadn't been to a smoothie king since the 90s when I saw this location had opened near my house. I remember not being fond of their smoothies but saw they had a new menu and decided to give it a try when I found myself in need of a quick lunch between errands. Their wellness blends were appealing being made with both fruit and vegetables so I ordered the carrot kale dream which has Carrots, Kale, Bananas, Orange Juice, Apple Juice, and a Vanilla Protein Blend. So far so good right? The first sip was ok, but by the second I realized why I didn't care for their smoothies in the first place. They are very watered down in flavor. I made it through a third of the smoothie and then tossed it. Honestly I prefer the smoothies I make at home to these. The store inside is still new and clean, and the staff were bright and friendly. Overall though I would rather spend $10 to make myself a weeks worth of flavorful smoothies than $5 on one I ended up throwing most of away. read more

While I was looking for a Smoothie King close to me, I rolled upon these terrible Yelp reviews. I have been to Smoothie King about 5 times this month. EVERY experience here has been amazing. One time I didn't enjoy my smoothie, so they took the time to make me a different smoothie, ensured that I was satisfied with it, and then gave me a new one for my sick mom in the hospital all for free! The smoothies are okay. The service could have been better. Just left there 30 mnts ago. No acknowledgement of customers walking in. The two workers kept chatting between themselves. The girl did not even say Hi once we got to counyer but still looking at the menu boards. She kept looking out of the glass door. Bad customer service. For a smoothie place there was a very bad vibe in there today that made for a totally unpleasant experience. I came in and was waiting to place my order for at least 5 minutes before the frazzled employee said she was too busy and gave me the option to leave. She sent someone else out that walked in after me as well. I understand working alone and being busy but she was clearly very stressed and frustrated and could have been much calmer and encouraging to the customers. Someone else finally came to take my smoothie order and have to say, it was the worst I've ever had. I get the same thing every time and know how it should taste and this wasn't it. The smoothies were great but the server was very rude. No one spoke to me when I entered the store nor when I went out out of my way to say hello. The young lady taking my order literally just stared at me and was more concerned about discussing a credit card receipt with her co-worker. Our kids were craving smoothies, so we scooted on over to Smoothie King. We walked in and noticed some of the lights were being turned off. We asked "are you still open?" to which a young man behind the counter replied "for about another 30 seconds" in a very sarcastic way. He never made eye contact and looked very put out that we were there. My husband asked if he could still make us smoothies and the young man stood behind the register and asked "what do you want." His tone was rude and unfriendly. We ordered 3 smoothies as quickly as we could. He turned around while another young man was spraying and sanitizing. The boys were obviously ready to get out of there as quickly as possible, discussing "you do this and then I'll finish that." Never once did he or the other boy make eye contact, show any manners, make small talk, or act friendly in any way. We would have had no problem leaving if he had said the store was closed, but he made the decision to let us order, so he should have treated us like any other customer who comes into the store during the day. When he rung us us he placed the last smoothie on the counter and, once again, identified which shake was what when i asked, yet still didn't make eye contact. He then said "have a nice night," as fast and under his breathe as possible while turning around to get busy preparing to leave. I'm sure the boys were ready to get out of there and go do whatever they wanted to do, but their lack of good customer service was a real turn off. Working in the business industry for 30+ years, I would never allow my employees to treat customers that way. Those boys need to take a customer service 101 class. We won't be back! read more

I am a loyal customer of Smoothie King and I have been to locations all over Houston and Dallas. I went to this location just this past weekend with my cousin and the staff was either rude or not knowledgable on their own store offers or policy. One of the staff members threw my card towards me on the counter instead of handing it to me even when I clearly put my hand out to take it back after he swiped it. I walked in thinking how nice the place looked compared to other locations I have been to but the attitudes of the staff was a major turn off. I will continue to go to Smoothie King but I will probably never return to this location again. read more

I'll give 4 stars for smoothie but they lose the rest due to the staff's attitudes. Instead of making orders together, they called out each smoothie individually. This led to confusion when other customers ordered the same thing, or so we thought. They called out one of our drinks, I went up to the counter, and the guy said "It's not yours" but with attitude. It made it seem like he actually knew whose it was. I said ok and went back to my seat. He continued to call out the order another 4 times and then looked in our direction and yelled it out. This franchise missed the mark. The new re-branding makes the place look inviting, but that's where it stops. I have been a frequent patron of the La Frontera location since about 2010 and have gotten pretty good service and a consistent product from them (peanut power plus). I was excited that CP opened up a location. I tried them a few weeks ago and got a PPP that was watered down. I chocked it up as an off day and tried them again today with the same result. There's a limit on the amount of leeway I'll give a business on a sub-par order (compared to La Frontera and the Frisco location I visited 2X and was consistently good). They either failed to live up to their franchise competition or have taken their quality down a notch in favor of profits. Either way, I'm not pleased. On a side note (and don't blame the individual location), but their app really sucks, I have yet to have either of my purchases show up for the rewards. All around, this location failed my expectations and I will only visit La Frontera again. read more
