Mango Matcha Smoothie and Okinawa Milk Tea!! I would categorize Happy Lemon as a more pricey milk tea shop. Plenty of seatings and very friendly staff. Good spot to do your work or even just to chit chat with friends. Chill vibe with yellow as the main color palette. Fruit tea: If you prefer a stronger tea base with light hints of fruits, then you can get them here. Okinawa Milk Tea: Very fragrant brown sugar flavor. Not too strong, not too sweet, but mixed very well with milk tea. Boba was a little soft but okay Mango Matcha: a very unique flavor combo but it works!! Fresh mango, strong match! It's even good melted.

I'm hoping my visit was just a one-off experience, and that I caught them at a bad time! Dropped in after dinner nearby (around 6pm on a Saturday) and there was no wait or line. Ordered my usual A1 green tea with salted cheese and added boba to it, paid, and got my drink and...it did not taste good or anything like what it usually tastes like. The biggest issue was the tapioca pearls - they were either bottom of the barrel/last of a batch that sat too long, or just extremely overcooked. Either way, they so were so incredibly mushy and disgustingly sweet that they ruined the entire drink (I had asked for little sugar, though I know the pearls themselves provide their own sweetness). Disappointing as they cost extra as a topping. The tea itself was okay, but not fresh. And the salted cheese was fine, if not too much. I almost thought about asking them to remake the drink, but decided against it. Just unfortunate as the location was cute and convenient if you're in the Cedar Park area. I know it's a newer location, so hopefully they'll find more consistency in their drinks and toppings. Until then, I will stick to the Happy Lemon near the Domain area.

I'm so happy they opened another Happy Lemon. This location is right off the 183A North exit if you're traveling here from that highway. Location is in middle of up-and-coming businesses. There's an 'okay' amount of parking spaces, very limited in front of store. Grand opening is super chill, BOGO drinks today. You get a menu to look at in line, select what you'd like and then go up to counter to pay. They have a wide selection of drinks from lemony ones (lemon slush, yakult yogurt ones, fruit teas, smoothies to boba and even make bubble waffles. If you havent tried it YOU MUST. I love how each booth area has an outlet for all you people (me included) that like working in places like this w/o fear of losing battery for your devices. Very smart planning! They've got highchairs for kids. I am definitely sure they'll improve their service as this is the first day they've opened. I love happy lemon!!!

This just opened today so everything is clean and new and I like the cute interior that's cheery with several tables and seating along both sides and minimal decor. I tried the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie which wasn't sweet and that surprised me. It wasn't great although I liked the strawberry flavor. The Mango Matcha Smoothie was much better with some jellied mango in the bottom and a good mix of flavors. Of course there are lots of other options with plenty of add-ons available as well. Everyone was friendly and there wasn't too much wait even with a long line of customers, so I think things will be good on any regular day.

Delicious Mango Matcha Smoothie and Okinawa Milk Tea! Mango and matcha are a perfect fit. Their matcha is strong and bold, mango purée is sweet and brings out the unique combination of these two. Okinawa milk tea is black milk tea with roasted brown sugar - delicious with boba. The brown sugar is very fragrant, not too sweet. Fruit tea is good with strong tea flavor with a light hint of fruitiness. Their drinks are definitely on the pricey side. I usually come here to splurge on the drink that I can't find at other places like mango matcha smoothie.

Very popular establishment. Net very good boba. I honestly went for the popularity and the Genshin Impact specialty cups. Being that they were blowing up all over America, I had to see why. We tried the Taro, milk tea with oreo, and the matcha latte. I have been to several boba establishments and happy lemon does not Crack the top 5. Maybe barely in the top 10. The boba wasn't all that(might've been old). And the drinks weren't on par with other boba places. If you want to go for the experience, then go right ahead. But if you want a new spot for boba, all the time, I'd pass.

i'm so happy we have a happy lemon in cedar park!! the interior has a super cute aesthetic. my go-to order is their strawberry matcha latte with boba. i will personally come back for this drink every time because it's perfectly sweet, refreshing, and one of the best strawberry matchas in austin i definitely want to visit to try their waffles as well. service was quick and i was pleasantly surprised to meet the owner on my second visit. the entire staff has been warm and friendly during all of my interactions with them big fan of happy lemon :)

I went to the grand opening and they were doing a bogo sale! It was so efficiently run and the wait was not that long. I think they should get a number tracker that shows what number they are serving cause it was a little hard to hear them when they were calling our number. But I also wasn't listening that hard. I ordered the mango green tea with mango boba and it was pretty good. It includes the boba and small bites of mango. I definitely want to come back and try their other drinks.

The place was really well decorated and the drinks were really good. 10/10 would recommend. The lady at the register was really nice and helpful.

We made the drive up north to try it before they close since they carry some Vietnamese snacks that are hard to find in Austin. Their menu is extensive covering drinks, desserts, and snacks so it took us a while to decide on our order. All their drinks are lactose free which was great to hear. The staff was nice but it did take a while for everything to come out. Peppermint Pandan Latte / Sam Dua Bac Ha ($6.95) + Crystal Boba ($0.95): We got this at 75% sweet and it was delicious. You can distinctly taste both the peppermint and pandan and it was really refreshing. Matcha Lover ($8.75): We got this at 75% sweet as well. It is a matcha latte with matcha foam, matcha pudding, and matcha mochi. We were not huge fans of this one. The foam was really thick and creamy which made it hard to mix, and the drink had a strange taste that we think came from the flour on the matcha mochi. I think it would have been better if we had eaten the mochi off the top first before mixing everything together. Popcorn Chicken ($8.75): This was okay. They used a different type of batter than what I am used to and it was pretty bland. I didn't like the chili dipping sauce either. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is still way better to me. Mixed Soft Rice Paper With Full Topping / BT Phoi Suong Full Topping ($14): This was our first time having banh trang tron with dried meat and seafood toppings. It also came with a sliced hard boiled egg instead of quail eggs. Very interesting and different. I really wished it came with tamarind sauce because that was the one flavor I felt was missing and would have tied everything together. The portion size also felt a bit small for the price.

So, if a drink needs to be steeped, they will wait until every drink in front of it has been finished to even start the 5-10 minute steeping process, instead of starting to steep the leaves while they work on blended drinks. Three employees wander around aimlessly while dozens of people wait for a single, simple drink. Most other boba places are able to get drinks out within a minute or two. What is your excuse? There is truly no reason for a single milk tea to take 30 minutes. Fix your training. EDIT: In response to the owner, I do understand that popularity will slow things down, but that wasn't what I was observing. It was a steady trickle of guests coming in every few minutes, and it seems like the crowd was created from congestion of orders stacking up at a higher rate in than they were going out. Orders were only being handed out every several minutes, and while I have also worked in food service/retail and understand having to take breaks and slow down sometimes, the employees seemed like they were just meandering about without a care in the world. I'm truly not sure why, at the very least, steeping wouldn't be started early. I go to a lot of boba places, and I've had many good friends who work (or worked) at boba places, even if I have not directly worked at one myself. The employee behavior was not like anything I've ever seen before.

I went for their Lychee Green Tea and P2 ordered their Uber Smoothie. It didn't take too long for our drinks to come out, around 5-7 minutes. We were seated on some comfy chairs, and the bobarista served our drinks to us. I think presentation-wise, they did a good job. They claim to have "beverage aesthetics" and I tend to agree. Does having good "beverage aesthetics" make a drink taste better? No, definitely not. We both thought our drinks weren't too bad, however. I had ordered my drink with 0% sugar but I added boba to mine. My drink also already came with lychee coconut, so the two toppings sweetened my drink naturally. P2 complained that her drink was still too sweet for her liking. We appreciated the service and the pleasant ambience inside. I took off a star because the drinks were just too expensive. Without a coupon, I don't think we would come back here with drinks costing $7-8 each!

For me personally, I was a bit bummed to see all these delicious flavors that were available, but I wasn't able to sample many of them because I have a dairy allergy. So that being said, they only had one flavor that I could try at the time I did appreciate that they had a laminated sheet of paper that listed all of the allergens and all of their flavors, so anyone that had an allergy could quickly see which flavors they could try and which ones they should avoid. During my visit, I ordered their mint basil sorbet which was very good. At five dollars per scoop, it's definitely on the pricier side. However, the ambience inside this ice cream shop was nice and I could see myself hanging out here socially if they had more dairy free options. But overall, I had an okay experience here. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They are located in a small plaza with ample parking. It was also easy to get in and out of the parking lot, which I think is a big plus.
