After a workout that left me feeling like I just wrestled a bear, I made a beeline to Smoothie King to refuel with some healthy calories. I had read some reviews that made me a bit wary, but I was in for a surprise. The drive-through looked like a parking lot, and there were three of us in the lobby, looking equally desperate for a smoothie fix. Inside, four smoothie superheroes were blending with the speed and precision of a synchronized swim team on Red Bull. My receipt was stamped 10:31am, and, lo and behold, I had my smoothies in hand by 10:34 and 10:35 respectively. It was like watching a magic trick, but with fewer rabbits and more bananas. Smoothie king is so good. I personally like the smoothie bowls the best. The service was ok. They did get our order wrong but immediately fixed it and got us a new one. The wait was not long at all. We were also the only ones in the drive through so it was very fast. The environment was good. The man that made are bowls was nice about us telling him that are order was wrong. Placed an order online here on accident instead of near my job. I was told at the location I go to that I should be able to call and get a refund. The girl I talked to here said "we can't refund you because the smoothie has been made". Which doesn't make any sense.. so she took my info to give to her supervisor. It's been over a week and I never got contacted. Poor customer service/management never has that been an excuse not to get a refund. read more

Where are all you smoothie people at?? A place like this needs to be filled with reviews from smoothie fanatics who talk about the nutrition value, the vitamins and boosters they sell and quality of their juice to other people who know what any of that means. I am not a frequent smoothie drinker, I don't know these things, but I got really good service here and I cannot let zero reviews stand, so here it goes! I stopped here Wednesday afternoon between appointments. I have had this issue where work has been so busy that I don't get a lunch break and end up eating so late in the afternoon that I'm not hungry for dinner and it throws off my whole day. I was starving at 3:30pm this day and had the light bulb go off when I saw their sign. Luckily, traffic was very forgiving and I was able to get in here. Leaving was a bit of a pain as there is not a light here and unless you are taking a right, cross traffic doesn't really care that you needed a smoothie and have somewhere to be. I noticed they had a drive thru but I didn't want to hold it up when I didn't know what I wanted, so I parked and went inside. I was immediately greeted by a lady who was helping someone at the drive thru and said she would be right with me. Their menu is really large, I had no idea there were so many types of smoothies and kind of froze up. Fitness blends? Slim blends? Wellness? Taking a break? There are so many flavors under each, gah! Luckily, she had suggestions and when I explained I just wanted a small snack to not upset my eating schedule, but keep me going through my appointments she suggested Angel Food (strawberry, banana, vanilla) which is already a flavor combination that is right up my alley. I ordered a small for $4.69 and then they started talking about their energy boosters (non caffeine) and recharge (with caffeine) for a small upcharge. They were both super helpful, both asking questions and volunteering information, and the gentleman definitely gave me a larger cup for my smoothie, I guess for me to see what I was missing. They were so nice and did all this while helping other customers that came in, the drive thru customers and telling me they take call in orders so people don't use up their lunch breaks waiting in line. The blend was tasty, but I could tell it had a lot of sugar. I didn't know at the time, but you can 'make it skinny' by removing the extra sugar. For this particular fruit blend, I think it would have been sweet enough on its own and if I got the same flavor, I would definitely want to try it without the sugar. However, if I was getting one with coffee or kale or something like that, I'd want them to load me up on sweet, sugary flavor. I will say that it did taste like a sweet treat if you want to treat yourself to something better than ice cream or cake sometimes, lol. They also asked when the last time I was in and when they found out the answer was never they gave me a menu, a nutritional guide and a brochure on their VIP card. This was really nice of them... I just can't commit to drinking smoothies often enough for this to matter to me. I didn't even crack open the nutritional guide. I looked at the menu enough to see about 40 types of smoothies including vegetarian and vegan options. I may not be able to commit to a relationship with a smoothie place, but if you are the kind of person who can or is looking for one, their VIP card saves you 15% daily based on your spend and 20% on VIP Tuesdays. Personally, this is too much for my brain to process, I had no idea this was a thing, but I think it's great that they are catering to their customer base. Everything lists nutritional information and ingredients, which is useful for people who are watching that or have allergies. The place is roomy, bright and clean. There's a small seating area if you want to stick around and the drive thru is a nice touch for those in a hurry. There was a nutritional display that I think is merchandise they sell. Clearly they have a lot of literature for you to take and if you want to call in an order, that's a good idea. The staff was way above expectations and if I wanted this type of smoothie again, I would choose this location instead of their many other locations, based on how great they were. Full disclosure, there is a local, organic place near my home that I prefer to go to when the rare mood strikes because I don't prefer chains. This visit will not replace that small, local, organic place for me. However, this place is significantly cheaper with larger portions, and I would have to consider that aspect if I drank them frequently enough to not want to break the bank. If smoothies are your thing, and a chain with multiple locations is convenient for you, this should be the place you are checking out! read more

(Sigh) Where do I begin? I normally don't even do reviews but my negative experience happened twice within 2 weeks of each other. I've visited this location twice 2 weeks apart in the last month and both times they didn't have drink carriers. Yes you read that right, they are always out of drink carriers! What does that mean if you order more than a couple of smoothies? It means prepare for a gigantic mess! How is this location always out of drink carriers the two separate times I've gone there? Other locations I've never had this problem. The staff for the most part is friendly. The location is clean which is great. I just honestly feel like it depends on who works that day that will determine the quality of smoothie your going to get. I ordered one of my favorite smoothies that contained almonds in it on one of these visits and the almonds weren't blended all the way. I was literally chewing my smoothie and couldn't enjoy it. It was a waste of my hard earned money because half way through, I was over it and poured the rest out. I wasn't given my proper discount the other time I visited. The staff should be more knowledgeable on promotions and app related questions. I'm pretty much done with this location. I'll go else where if I want a smoothie. read more

I order a medium Strawberry Gladiator with whole strawberries and banana as my fruit. I'm in the drive thru. Girl with long blonde hair and the bottom inch of her tush hanging out with 3 inch baby blue nails hands it to me... it's white. So I go in and explain what my order was, the guy behind the counter says "umm ok..." he was clueless and the girl says "oh god... the new girl put the vanilla in the strawberry container and vise versa... go throw them away (talking to the guy)"... he then takes my drink and goes to the back. She then pops off with "I guess I'll make you another..." I said ok thanks and waited. I then get a strawberry powder shake with double banana. I look at her and say "this has strawberries in it? It's white." The look she gave me was hilarious and it was like I had offended her personally. Felt like I was in the movie Mean Girls. So now I am stuck drinking a $9 whipped banana because if I didn't get out of there I probably would have thrown it directly at her. read more

I usually walk in after a Workout to pick up a Gladiator smoothie here. Since I live about 3 minutes away it's very convenient and the staff is extremely helpful. The service might not be quick when two or three others are in front of you but never the less the smoothies are made well. Also the new change to the cups being plastic is a great addition to instead of Styrofoam. read more
