I'm not sure if this location is private owned but they never have specials and 5 buck Fridays is non existent when I have tried. I'm not sure if they have a big turnover rate either considering the smoothies are not presented well, maybe constant new staff and not in formation of the preparation guidelines . 0 in presentation . When I went there I was hoping they were like some of the other smoothie shops, where I can see them put whole vegetables and vegetable stalks and all in the juicer and whole pieces of fruit. This looks like they had everything already chopped up and used an ice cream scooper to measure out how much fruits and veggies to put in your smoothie. I will have to let you know later how it tastes, but already my mental is telling me it's not as healthy as the whole fruits and veggies that the other smoothie store used! DO NOT BOTHER with this location! I wish I could leave NO stars. Three times since March 2023 i have tried to order at this store, all three times they have been closed, OR SAID they were. The Smoothie King App continues to accept orders and payment when they are closed, but you will get NO REFUND from them when it happens. The first time the employee said that the were out of ingredients at 5:15 on Saturday when they are open till 9:00 PM and could not make ANY SMOOTHIES AT ALL. And there was no manager to buy more. I went back the next day and got the smoothies. But should not have had too. The Second time, the employee in drive through said they had to close early because someone got hurt and they made them close. But employees were standing around cars in the back parking lot and loud music playing from inside. This last time they had a sign on the door and drive through saying they were closed due to staffing issues (Happy Mother's Day) I still paid the $13.78 through the app. The App is supposed to have an 800 number to call for a refund and disputes, but I have tried that 3 times this week and they require you to leave a number and they will "call you back". They do NOT. I have seen other favorable reviews on YELP and Google for this location, but the people leaving them are all friends on Social Media and they all leave GREAT reviews for each other on Google. My boyfriend and I visited this store yesterday afternoon expecting to place an order. We entered the front entry door and was told we had to go through the drive thru. We couldn't understand why because there were literally 5 workers standing around and no sign was on the door alerting us of the closed dining room. This Smoothie King does not honor its online orders or it's store hours. I ordered around 8pm, arrived at store around 8:20 to find the doors locked and the teenagers running the store closing early. The last time I came here about two weeks ago the staff ignored me in the drive thru. On that visit I was able to go inside to order a smoothie. I was told then that they were only serving walk-ins band online orders which I why I used an online order tonight. Now I'm out of my money and the smoothie. Service has never been the greatest here. It's mediocre at best. But after today's visit, I'm over this location. As a vegan, it's pretty easy to swap out ingredients to make a non-vegan smoothie into a vegan-friendly one. I usually go for a vegan Mango Kale, adding strawberries. It's a solid choice. Today I decided to get a Pineapple Surf, which comes with a dairy whey blend. Of course, I omitted the dairy blend; I requested mangoes in its place. I have watched this place deteriorate very quickly. It was pristine when it first opened; however, during my last few visits I have noticed flies, a foul mildew smell, and filth in the prep area. The place is filthy and even the Manager works sloppy. I watched him toss fruits all over as if he was playing ping pong and half wash the blender containers.
