The young lady attending to costumers was very knowledgeable and able to help me select a smoothie for for my needs. I'm waiting for her to make it so this review is based upon her friendliness and quickness getting through all of our orders. I'm from New Orleans (the birthplace of Smoothie King for those who didn't know) so I am very loyal to this franchise. I stopped by on my way from the airport (from NOLA, of course). There were two young ladies inside. They were very nice and attentive. I mentioned that I didn't have my glasses so it'll take me a minute to read the menu. One of them (receipt says Tori E so I hope that's her) said that they still have paper menus available and handed me one. That was much better. It was such a small and simple gesture but it felt so accommodating. read more

Service: Saturday, March 9, I injured my hand in my car and sought assistance in the Waugh Chapel Smoothie King store. I want to commend the head person at the Waugh Chapel store for their assistance. They immediately asked if I needed medical attention, and then again, until I explained my situation. I told them I needed to sit for a few minutes, and asked for some ice and a drink of water. They provided a seat, ICE and water for me. They were very understanding and helpful. Seems I've found deliciousness in a 32 ounce cup. Stopped by Smoothie King for something refreshing and they didn't disappoint. If you're watching your weight, they even have options for a smoothie meal replacement. I chose the Caribbean Way medium smoothie and was very happy with it. It didn't have an overpower taste of just one thing but a balance of many things. I was happy to hear that on Monday's they offer a $5 special for the medium. Check the bottom of your receipt for the link to give feedback and receive $1 off your next smoothie. For those who prefer to download the app; you accumulate points when you the barcode shown on your phone scanned each visit. Personnel working here were friendly and seemed to handle the sudden crowd well. I will have to come back and be a bit more adventurous with my next smoothie combination. read more

Yes. And do I still go to Smoothie King? Yes! The Island Impact smoothie here is the abosolute truth: mango, pineapple and papaya juice blend. I always get the largest size, and every time, I am surprised at just how big the serving sizes are. But no complaints because I always finish lol. Sure, it might be healthier to make your own smoothie at home (to avoid some of the "blends" and apple juice they use), but it's almost too hot to care on some summer days. Smoothie King? A bit full on itself but they describe their selves correctly. They do offer a very wide selection of flavors and seemed to be more focused in the healthy lifestyle. If you go in expecting to come out with some food as with some other smoothie places think again. They do offer healthy protein bars and shakes but nothing more. This is a good thing as they can concentrate on keeping their title of "Smoothie King." The store is always clean on the numerous times I have been there with a friendly staff. It offers a few tables and chairs if you decide to sit and sip. With the opening of another smoothie place nearby I have noticed an uptick in deals to lure you in. This is good for all of us as they have had some excellent deals. The Smoothie King app on your phone can reveal some excellent deals once you check in the store. They offer coupons via mail which are nice as they have an expiration date that is far in the future so toss them in your glove compartment for next time you are on the run and need a quick standby to hold you over. In fact I still have some I am using. I have been here many times and try to get something new on each trip. This is easy as they always offer new flavors to try. The smoothies are really good (it can get expensive) but again it's really good. 32 oz smoothies are 5 bucks on fridays though.The staff is friendly and helpful, and i'm typically in and out pretty quick. The last few months i've really gotten into my health bag, and coming here every now and again is how I treat myself. Sometimes I even add protein and just replace a meal. Easily my favorite place for a quick smoothie fix though. read more

You should change your posted closing time to 8:45 PM instead of 9 PM. I walked in tonight at 8:45 PM and was refused service because the young lady behind the counter said your store would be closing in about 10 minutes. I went across the parking lot to the Kung Fu Tea shop that also closes at 9 PM, and got a smoothie from them. You know there were few people in line at the store. At 9 pm (their designated closing time) they turned off the 'open" sign and locked the door. Then let the rest of us out as we were served. Also, their smoothie was pretty good. I went in this place yesterday to collect my free birthday 20 ounce smoothie when I walked in it was two young ladies was in there and not one of them greeted me. They didn't say hello how you doing can I take your order or Nothing the lady just walked from one end to the next and said are you ready to order I mean racism is at an all time high in this country and it is really ridiculous. My husband and I go to this Smoothie King all the time. The staff know the regulars by name, they are always friendly, and move at a very efficient pace. The zucchini bread is SO GOOD! They offer a wide variety of smoothies. They don't offer food but they do have healthier option snacks and protein bars. This location is always super clean too. I do not like how the cashier Miss Emily addressed me. I was unaware of the closing times of the store, and was recommending the location to my mom via phone. While recommending the location to my mother on the phone Miss Emily rudely interrupted me saying in a stern tone of voice" I'm gonna tell you right now I'm locking that door in seven minutes". Her face and eyes were gestured as such to signify she is agitated, and hardened as if I was going to rebel against the stores working hours. That is not how I address customers as I too also work for customer service. How she should have addressed me is " sir, I do apologize but we are closing soon". I'm a customer here multiple times per week, so obviously I'm going to five-star this joint. I'm obsessed with smoothies; I have them after workouts, before workouts, sometimes for lunch, etc. I love the choices this place offers in terms of add-ins and flavors. I've tried quite a few, and they've all tasted great! Although it may or may not really be the case, no matter what I get, I feel as though I've just ingested something super healthy when I'm done. I love Smoothie King. Everything there is so delicious. You can also mix in protein powders and caffeine if you need a little something extra. On Mondays they are currently running a special where you can get a 32 oz smoothie for $5. That's the normal price of a 16 ounce. I'm no math wiz, but that's like getting 2 small drinks for the same price as you'd pay for one any other day of the week (you're welcome). Every time I've ever been to this location is isn't busy, so no worries if you're in a rush. The only thing I wish was that they weren't in a strip mall where I had to go inside to order. A drive thru window would be awesome. Now you know why I am drinking a smoothie instead of eating Chipotle (which is directly across the street, btw)...my fat behind needs the exercise! read more

Where they go wrong is that instead of using fresh vegetables to make the juice, they use frozen vegetables with ice to make it. Imagine drinking a frozen can of Campbell's vegetable soup! I have been seeing a lot of my friends 'checking in' at the new Smoothie King in the Waugh Chapel shopping center lately so I decided to give it a shot. There were a few customers and the girls behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. The walls were brightly painted, I'm talking yellow and orange, and everything was clean. Almost looked like a candy store. I took a look at the large menu on the back wall to find out that SK is actually like a fitness smoothie place. First you choose a flavor under the sub-menu of Stay Healthy, Get Energy, Trim Down, Build Up or Snack Right. Thennnn you can add an extra 'enhancer' of something like energy (?!), caffeine, a probiotic, etc. A little bit of a hard choice... but I know you can leave your 'friendly' bacteria' in a jar out of my smoothie. I went with the Strawberry X-treme, under Snack Right (*secretly cries* - I just want a tasty strawberry smoothie!!). I mean they also do have the little menu that has actual shakes and less health pushy stuff but whatever, I'd try this one. It has protein in it also. I figured it would be whey, and it was. Whey leaves a bit of a chalky/grainy texture in your mouth. It's kindof unpleasant but the smoothie was pretty good. A little less than $5 for a small, kinda pricey. But the small size was actually decent, it was like a medium/regular size elsewhere. I probably wouldn't go back. If I want a smoothie I'll just buy some fruit and do it myself. 3 stars, just not really my thing. read more

Smoothie King is one of the best smoothie places I've been to, Tropical Smoothie being the top one. Smoothie king would be number one if they sold food. The staff here are young but have their s*** together unlike a lot of other places with young staff. They are persistent with your order, knowledgable, and friendly. The store is very clean and welcoming. My husband likes to get the most fattening thing on the menu called "The Hulk" and let me tell you it is very tasty. I get the peanut butter and chocolate one and it is delicious every time. It's around $6 for a regular smoothie, which its more like a large to extra large in size. When my kids were acting crazy fighting over a large coconut smoothie I purchased, she went behind the counter and got me another cup. Smoothie King Crofton was my first intro to the business and their smoothies. I will say they are NOTHING like any other I've ever tasted. Yummy! Although it takes a little while to make the smoothies, it is worth the wait. So if I'm in a hurry, I just call ahead. I really like how the nutritional value is provided and even if you want to know an estimate of WW points - they have that too!!
