To the owner, Nick It must've been faith that I found plastic in my smoothie before I got halfway through it because I didn't know this location had so many low reviews, talking about the service, the quality and roaches!? I moved from North Carolina, but I still work there so I usually get a smoothie while I'm out there and I've never had an issue. I tried calling this location and the phone was disconnected. I had to go out of my way to go back to seek a refund. I was told by a heavyset black lady who claimed to be the "district manager" that the owner instructed that they disconnect their phones because of spam calls. When I ask her how will I be receiving my refund she told me she doesn't know how to work the online system so I would just have to wait for a refund. I asked her how would I know that it was submitted or received being that she didn't even ask for my information. she said if I don't get my money then that's how I know. This location is disgusting on the inside and it's very unprofessional to have your phone line disconnected and have a manager at that location that don't know how to work the online system that should be the basic requirements. As soon as I got excited about having a smoothie King across from the movie theater that I go to within the hour, I was let down will never be back at this location unless I want a side of roaches with my smoothie. read more

This location needs to hire better workers who can actually pay attention to customers and make the products Correctly. It smells disgusting it's messy where the workers are and the smoothie bowls are crap. The smoothie bowls should not be runny . Get them trained before tossing anyone behind the counter. Come on! I never want to be the one to write a bad review and everytime I come to this location I stop myself from writing one but it deserves one star everytime. Unless the tall young man in the morning is working I think he was a manager (he always gets it right) but this location has just progressively gotten worse. It used to be about 5 times out of 10 it would taste right and now it's 1 time out of 10 it'll taste decent. I almost never come here anymore because of this but each time I do bc I'm in a time crunch and hope maybe just maybe things will be better. Today is my last day ever coming to this location. I started coming here a couple of months ago, at first everything was fine. They got my smoothie out in a timely manner and it was made correctly. These new employees that they have clearly don't know what they are doing. They have messed up my smoothie twice, i have to repeat my order over multiple times and it takes forever each time i get in line. I've never experienced a smoothie shop of this size not have key ingredients at the start of shift multiple times. The inconsistency at this location is a huge concern, however the worst part is the customer service. On every poor review the response says the same thing "to please contact guest services" and literally NOBODY gets back with you and does anything about it. I understand that everybody has bad days, but this place has seriously went down with its customer service. I'm not a very loud talker so I had to yell twice into the speaker because the person said they couldn't hear me. I don't know if he was pissed because I did that, but once again I was not blessed with loud vocal cords. I get to the window and give him my card. He gives me my drink and card back, then slams the window in my face. Went back again after Smoothie King replied to my initial review. Service was maybe a little faster this time but when I got to the window in the drive thru I looked inside and the place was an absolute pigsty. There were banana peels and juices all over the floor. Strawberries were just sitting out on the counter. Protein powder was overflowing into other containers. Genuinely not sure how this place has passed a health inspection. I stopped by smoothie king to get smoothie on my way home from my yoga class around 8:25pm to get a smoothie for me and my sick boyfriend. I pulled through the drive through and sat there and waited, no one asked for my order, so I looked up the closing time 9:00pm. I waited longer, still nothing. I pulled up to the window and saw at least three people still working who would not acknowledge that I was at the window. I also work in the food and bev industry so I get it, it's very annoying when someone comes in late when you want to close... but you still serve them because you are still open for at least 30 more minutes. So I decide to go inside to order. When I walked in, not one of the people said anything to me. I met one of the girls at the register and I placed my order. I watch the two girls start putting ingredients in the blender. The two then took both blenders back to the kitchen... which as far as I am aware, smoothie king is supposed to make the smoothies in front of you. Since they had been closing early, I thought maybe they were adding something in the back, but the right thing to do would have been to grab it from the back and bring it out front to put it in the smoothie. When they walked out I could tell by the look on both of their faces that something was going on. My suspicion was confirmed when one of the girls walked back into the kitchen and stood at the door where she thought I could not see her... When I could literally see part of her hand and see her in the reflection on the glass on the door. I watched her try to get the other girls attention and then start to sign something with her hand and point to where I was sitting in the store... I was the only person in there, so it was easy to hear and see what she was doing. My smoothie were ready, so I picked them up and looked over. I looked over and one of the girls was literally pulling her sweatshirt over her mouth and laughing and then said something along the lines of "I'm dead" that she thought I couldn't hear. At that point, I was positive that they spit in my smoothies or did something gross to them when they took them back to the kitchen. I took them home and dumped them both down the sink without taking a sip. Regardless if they spit in them or not, it was a waste of money and a terrible customer experience. read more

I went to get a smoothie last Saturday. It was my first attempt at getting any food item outside what I had been preparing at home since the pandemic. I was shocked that none of the servers were wearing any PPE. I asked my server at the drive through why he or any others were not wearing masks or gloves. He said they were not required to. I said do you all not realize there's a deadly virus. He said they don't touch the food items so they don't need to wear anything. I watched as the people wearing no masks and no gloves talked while they made smoothies. He took my card and processed it with bare hands and gave me my smoothie. He asked if I wanted a wipe to clean off my cup. I said yes and waited while he searched for wipes. Then came back saying he couldn't find any and offered me some napkins. That's okay, I carry my own wipes in my car. Anyway, Smoothie King needs to do what they post on their website which is that they are taking every precaution to keep customers safe!!! read more

I freakin love Soothie King. I practically live off of their smoothies. But this location desperately needs a new awning above the drive through. I just got completely drenched buying a smoothie. The guy who was working was super nice and tried as hard as he could to help me avoid drowning..lol, however whoever the chick was up there, was incredibly rude, not helpful in the slightest, and just stood back and giggled while the guy and the other girl, who was African American (and I'm only pointing that out if a manager just so happens to read this request,he/she will be able to tell which female employee I'm referring to), actually tries to help me. I mean, I love this place normally, but because of how I was treated by that employee, I'm going to check out Planet Smoothie and see if I like it enough to switch to them. However if that nasty girl working here happened to suddenly no longer be working here, then I'll always use you guys! And trust me I spend an incredible amount of money at your store because I have Celiac disease, and your smoothies that contain both fruits and veggies have really helped me get the nutrition I need to get better and to stay healthy! I love the smoothies and it is usually a pretty quick in and out, but the last two times I have been to this location I have had to wait way longer than normal, as employees were watching videos and hanging out in the back room. I could hear the videos they were laughing at, but they could not hear me. They did not hear me when the door bell rang as I came in, or when I coughed and said "Hello?".
