I think this is the most visited smoothie king location I've come to. As far as establishments go, the facility is clean, minimally furnished and has a clean bathroom. The staff is friendly but it's hard to find a familiar face here because there's a lot of turnover. They tend to treat people with a passive indifference - the could be happier, but they've never been rude so I guess it evens out. As far as smoothies go this is one of the better quality places near me. They've never gotten an order wrong any time I've been there. My top 3 favorite smoothies are the lemon strawberry twist, the mango madness, and the banana berry treat with extra raspberry sorbet. They do have an app that lets you accrue rewards points, but you have to visit and spend a lot of money before you get anything for free. I prefer the old days when you had a punch card and got the 9th or 10th one free...seemed faster. read more

I had to take a double take when looking at the prices of a large smoothie. It was over $7. What is going on here? Is there gold in this smoothie? I have continued to have a ridiculous experience at this location. Once you get the smoothie it's great but the fact that they consider 5 smoothies BUSY is laughable. I called in advance. Was told 10 minutes. Walked inside and my order hadn't been started. Guy in line who ordered had his smoothie before me and I called and was sitting outside waiting before they even pulled up. I try not to find myself posting a review but last week they left me on hold for 5 minutes listening to them blend after the girl answered asking what I wanted, but she wasn't even trained to place orders or make them so I had to wait and repeat myself. And the repeat was in person because by the time they picked up the phone I had made it from him to the store. Ridiculous! I guess its true what they say. Eating healthy will come at a price and might I add an expensive price. To me the price you pay here for a smoothie may motivate you to go to Wal-Mart or your local market and buy the ingredients yourself. The best times to come would be on the days where you can get the special price smoothies on Mondays. When I was younger, my second job was working at this Smoothie King. I am unsure if the owner is the same but I have fond memories of the shenanigans that come with peeling 10 dozen bananas and living on odd mixtures of trail mix! Smoothie King makes every smoothie fresh and made to order. Pineapple, strawberries, bananas and blue berries. I could drink one every day! Not to brag, but I was the dancing banana that used to sing and shake my peel up and down George Busbee! I made one hell of a sexy dancing banana, I'm just sayin! I wore the obnoxiously bright yellow banana that stood 2 feet above my head and 3 feet out like a swoop around my knees. Not only would I dry hump cars but I'd charge $1.00 to rub on me. Hey, no judgements, minimum wage was low when I was a kid! Even today, when I go in to get a smoothie, I worry I'll be outed! I love the taste of a smoothie. All of your favorite fruits blended together with just enough ice to make it thick and cold and also allowing the natural sweetness and flavor of the fruits to still dominate. Yeah, smoothies are great. Smoothie King on the other hand tried really hard but fell short. They added enough fruit to make sure it remained a fruit smoothie, but added so much ice and water that all I got when I sucked on the straw was brain freeze. Plus it didn't help that I asked them to pass on adding additional sugar, I didn't think I needed the additional sweetness. To me, that's like bringing sand to the beach. read more

Not at all what I was hoping for. They ran out of soy protein, but weren't going to tell us until I asked if we could have the drink without it. They didn't come close to filling the drink up to the lid. I ordered a large and it might as well have been a medium. It was difficult to drink in the beginning and the end. In the beginning it was too frozen, and in the end there were some large pieces of fruit that weren't blended enough and were getting stuck in the straw. It was definitely overpriced. Very warm, friendly, welcoming staff and they know all about what's good for you. If you don't know what you want, you can tell them what you DON'T want and they'll find something perfect for you. I have to question the healthiness of Smoothies with added sugar. Just too sweet. I guess they could make these without the sugar added?? Not sure. Otherwise, I would like to see the real fruits and vegetables as an option. With that said, the Monday special isn't worth it to me because of the sugar content. A bit over-priced, but I'd say it's worth it. They have a great variety of flavors and options to put into your smoothie, many of which I've tried and enjoyed. The employees here are very nice and helpful, even when it's busy and they're stressed. It can take a while to get your smoothie, even when they aren't busy, but to me, that ensures quality. Every time I've been there, they've been pretty busy. They need more places to sit inside, more tables to sit at and I'd definitely suggest getting wifi. The smoothies are great. There is a drive through which is really convenient. However, I wish they had more low carb options available. The smoothies are delicious... just don't look at the nutrition facts Some of the smoothies are 99 carbohydrates and up... even the kids sizes have 44 carbs. Giving four stars for their customer service alone. Came in last night with my grandmother, who had hours before had just received some dental work. She was sore and unable to chew, so, a smoothly seemed smart. When we got our orders, the lady hand delivered them to us while we were seated and said, "we also packed a spoon for you in the cup carrier, we heard you just had some dental work." I had arrived 5 minutes before they closed and even called ahead of time so they knew I was going and by the time I got there they decided they were "closed". They close at 9 on saturdays!
