I've always ordered ahead and my smoothie/food has always been ready when I arrived. I usually take it to go so I've never eaten in the location, but it seems like a typical quick takeaway place. The owners are nice and make conversation but also respect your time. I have eaten in the little square out front on the benches once or twice to people watch while scarfing down my food. You'll find a wide variety of flavor combinations, with juice, yogurt, sherbet, skim milk, or banana as the base. They don't have whey or soy protein bases like some of the "nutritional shake" places offer. The fruit flavors come from "real" fruit syrup, so they taste good, but not quite as good as a smoothie made with actual whole fruit. You can get optional "boosts" which offer vaguely defined nutritional or functional benefits. Nutritional information is available on the website. Smoothies are the only thing on the menu. The mango kale smoothie in particular is one of my all time favorites.
