First of all, I always thought this place was a dumb idea. Like, who would get a non milkshake- milkshake? Why are you freezing your brain for less calories? Ok- thankfully I have a friend who showed me there's more to life than dairy. This is the third time I got a smoothie at this location, and all three times it was disgusting. It's like they use the amount of fruit for a kid's smoothie for a 40 oz drink. The smoothie had no color at all, when it's usually bright pink. I've had Smoothie King drinks in several states, I've never had this issue. BLAH.... I was craving a smoothie at 7:30p. I usually go to the Smoothie King on Kirby (the one closer to NRG) but I didn't feel like driving 15 minutes just for a smoothie, so I decided to drive 7 minutes to this location...bad idea lol. I mean I like the fact that there wasn't a line in the drive thru...the worker didn't seem very friendly, kinda straight blunt, usually I would get asked if I want to add any extras or enhancers..nope didn't get asked lol I mean it's not a big deal but still. Get to the window, I had my rewards ready, cashier just kinda snatched my phone out of my hand...like usually at the location I go to, the cashier would use the scanner instead of taking my whole phone...lol once again not a big deal but how it was done was tacky and not professional. I drove through the drive thru one night minutes before they closed. They proceeded to take my order . When I pulled up the young lady working the window wouldn't open the window . I'm not a healthy eating nut, I love Smoothie King because I'm from South La and because it's too hot in Texas to eat food when your on the go. I was in the Pearland area for work today and it was about brunch time. I didn't want to eat a heavy breakfast and forgo lunch, so I decided to go a healthier route and just grab a small smoothie! I've had Smoothie King before and have always enjoyed it! This case was no different! I ordered a small (which is actually quite large) hulk meal replacement smoothie and it was delicious! I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in a quick and healthier option! I ordered the strawberry in case you were wondering. I believe you can also get the hulk in vanilla or banana. Oh did I mention the service?! I went through the drive thru and was greeted by a young man who was likely still in high school. He was incredibly nice and very professional. He had that bit of kindness that would just really add a boost to your day! Oh how I wish everyone was that nice! Definitely 5 stars from me for this Smoothie King! I wanted lunch on the go, so I thought, "Hey, a smoothie!" Enter Smoothie King. (Or rather, the drive-thru.) I had just had some imaging done at the Memorial Hermann Imaging Center a few minutes away, and I had fasted so I was pretty hungry. Because I was running errands after, I thought I should get something to eat that I could consume while driving, etc. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a large Piña Colada Island. Mind you, I hadn't been to a Smoothie King in a while, so I forgot how large their large really is. More on that later. When I pulled up to the window, the guy tells me it is $7 and change. I about near fell out of my car!! $7 for a SMOOTHIE??? Did it have gold flecks in it?? For a moment I looked in my rear view mirror because I thought he had told me the total of a car behind me. You know, one that had several smoothies in their order. Nope. There was no one behind me and it was indeed my smoothie. OMG!! Well, I paid for the behemoth drink (40 freakin ounces!) and drove away. It sure tasted great! I later found out why: it's because it had 1200 calories and 20 grams of fat. WTF? That's like your entire day's worth. Or 2/3. Or something. Dear Lord! I don't know why this location gets so few stars!? The only gripe I do have and share with other reviewers is the speed and efficiency of the drive thru. The drive thru does take longer than most other places. The drinks, however, are great! Once you get to the window.. it probably takes less than 3 minutes before the drink is handed to you! My 2 favorite drinks to get are the Berry Punch and Pineapple Surf!! I almost come 3 to 4 days a week! highly recommended! read more

This is a nice and clean local Smoothie King with good operating hours open slightly later into the night. While the traffic here comes largely through the drive thru system, I am always here on my feet to order in person. And the service has generally been helpful, even if not the friendliest at times. They are usually at least somewhat busy and to their credit, they do a solid job of managing the crowds as they pile up. The smoothies always taste on point here relative to the standard Smoothie King recipes, which surprisingly means a lot to me given my poor experience in one of their downtown tunnel locations with a watered down Mango Kale smoothie a while ago. On my latest visit, I sipped on a small coffee high protein almond mocha in their newly unveiled plastic cup (bye bye styrofoam). It was refreshing to drink it and also know that the environment is being served better in the process. The almond mocha smoothie itself is certainly a nice blend of cold brew and a nutritious protein shake so don't hesitate to give it a try. If only Smoothie King revamped its menu with newer menu options more frequently! read more

I'm highly disappointed in this location. I visit weekly and last night was one of my least favorite experiences. I arrived at the drive thru at 8:50pm and my order was taken by a young lady. When I get to the window a young man greets me and tells me he can't place my order because he has already cleaned the store. I have called for the manager John several times and he's not available. How you not ever have a manager on duty is unheard of. I'm very upset and disappointed in this location. read more

I was not happy with my experience today at all. It wasn't so much the services as it was the decisions made by the company. I actually frequent smoothie king a lot because of my weight loss journey. I came specifically on a Friday in order to take advantage of the $5 20 oz smoothie. They first told me that the smoothie I ordered was a meal replacement and it would be $1 extra. I was pissed about it but said ok. I also had a $2 rewards and of course it wasn't applicable. It had to be used on the colossal cup which was $8.90 (or $9 USD). $9 is way too much to spend on a smoothie, but I digress. I did not a huge smoothie because I was running errands for the day and wouldn't be able to do much with a 10 lb cup in my hand. I asked for a medium sized cup and the associate said it would be .27 cent to get a cup. I was so disappointed in this chain because after spending $7 for a smoothie I wasn't even granted a pass on a .27 cent cup.
