I've stopped in a few times, and my family has been in several times to grab ice cream and churros -- figured it was finally time to do the review. On our most recent trip, my wife and I stopped in for a little treat after dinner. She had a single scoop of café au lait, and we shared a cinnamon sugar churro. Café au lait ice cream -- really good. If you like Vietnamese coffee, this is basically Vietnamese coffee condensed into ice cream. Highly recommended. If you're unsure -- maybe worried it's too strong -- ask for a sample; they're happy to give them out. Cinnamon sugar churro -- came out hot and fresh. Some of the better churros you'll get in Pearland. In the end, this is some of the better specialty ice cream and churros you're going to find in Pearland. They also do a lot for the community -- charity events, get-togethers, and the like -- so follow them on social media to know what's going on. Would recommend, and would return. read more

At this point I've been to Red Circle so many times that if I had a frequent diner card, I would have maxed out the points several times over. I don't even live in Pearland but will find any excuse to come here before or after any meal in the nearby vicinity. As a sucker for soft serve as well as churros, it's a no-brainer to enjoy the best of both worlds here at Red Circle. I used to be a regular at the Chinatown location, but somehow I've eclipsed it by coming to Pearland far more often. I think they have a pretty clean, spacious wide open interior with a nice mural of Houston, decent bathrooms, easy parking, and seating for a decent number of folks. The real reason for anyone visiting is their lineup of indulgent ice cream flavors. There are many that stand out such as their ube, chocolate, and strawberry soft serve. However, my go to option is usually a churros daddy which is vanilla with churros drizzled in cookie butter. The latter is so indulgent that the spike in blood sugar I experience is practically worth it. They have a dedicated selection of different "handcrafted" churros that include glazed and cinnamon sugar, and can / should be combined with ice cream (frosty / churros daddy) whenever the opportunity presents itself. It's easy to spend money in here, especially since none of this comes cheap. The only part where I've experienced a little bit of mishap was really through the service. They have young ladies working here who sometimes are a bit rushed, or don't handle a big crowd well. Thankfully these experiences have been far and few between and the ice cream as well as the happy faces of everyone I bring here is usually enough to make it a frequent, repeat experience. read more

It's been a long time since I've been to Red Circle. I tried their Vietnamese coffee flavor (a bit too salty/sweet) and durian and got the durian. The single scoop with complimentary topping was $5.68 after tax. I got it with coconut flakes which complemented the strong durian flavor! The durian ice cream was also pretty creamy - I really enjoyed it! I want to try other flavors but I'll likely just get durian next time as well. I also love getting the dream shakes which is a milkshake version (comes with a churro too). The place has some seating but not too much, and due to the churro toppings the tables can be a bit messy at times. While quarantining during these days, we decided to check out Red Circle while we were in Pearland. Having been eyeing the Chinatown location for a while now, we were super excited to see that this gem opened up not too long ago over in the suburbs! So we went over and did what we do best - order the best looking desserts and stuff our faces. I ended up trying the Ube and Pandan ice cream and the Nutella churro. Let me tell you guys - the Ube ice cream is incredible. A feel like a lot of places just use artificial flavoring but not Red Circle, no sir. The richness from both the Ube and Pandan kept me wanting more until I somehow ended up at the bottom of my cup without even realizing how much I had eaten. And guys - the churro. Crispy. Hot. Fresh. Sweet. Perfect. I've had fresh, right out the fryer churros in Mexico and I swear, Red Circle does it better. If you don't get anything else here, you must get the Nutella Churros. You're gonna get addicted though, so don't say I didn't warn you. On top of all this, even though we weren't able to dine inside due to COVID, we could peak inside and were in awe of the awesome mural on the walls. As like many other locals, I have a sort of love and hate relationship with Houston. For instance, I'm not very fond of the stop and go traffic, mosquitos, and the humidity. I was looking for a dessert spot while I was in the Pearland area and found this restaurant on google. It had 5 stars so I was like let's check it out. They have different variations of ice cream, waffles, and churros that are served in a bowl or a cone. You're allowed to sample the ice cream options to find one that works to your liking. I went with the churro puff waffle and churro mash up. Once you pick the style you want you will choose what flavor ice cream, churro and waffle that you want. They had about 10 ice cream flavors to choose from and about 4-5 flavors of the churro and waffles. Overall the desserts are very tasty. The churros and waffles are made fresh so it's nice and hot when you order. I never had the waffle egg before so for my first time I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was . It was nice and crispy for me (except the part that was in the ice cream of course). My only cons are that I felt like the ice cream flavors weren't my personal favorite. I'm really picky so I'm sure most people wouldn't mind the options.
