I purchased a smoothie bowl from this location today. When I got to my car and opened the lid the açaí was completely liquid. I took it right back into the store for them to remake it. I was told it would be the same way so I requested a refund. I order these all the time (1st time at this store) and have NEVER had this happen. The young man working advised me his manger would give the refund when she arrived in a few hours. Never got the refund. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Took 25 mins to make a smoothie bowl & I only had a 30 mins break for lunch from work. Go anywhere else, don't waste your time. Manager was rude talking about other customers who were also complaining about waiting 30+ mins for SMOOTHIES. Poor dude working on the smoothies did not know how to cut fruit for the bowls and took an extremely long time. There's obviously nobody in charge here & there's no sense of urgency for the easiest things to make. I ordered my smoothie online at 3:05 on a Sunday afternoon. I got to the location at 3:25 and waited until 3:50 to get my smoothie. They make great smoothies but they are so over crowded and under staffed. There were 14+ customers in the lobby area waiting around. The phones are always off the hook they never answer the phones and there's always customers standing around starring at each other. I can't believe I waited almost an hour for my smoothie. If I could have gotten my money back I would have left. Would not recommend this location. Horrible service! It was 7:51pm and the doors were locked. The hours on the door say they close at 8:00pm. The 3 people working there (Judy, Tyrek) were so rude & didn't care one bit. The location is in a plaza with a gas station! The inside is clean! I walk in it's empty and I order a medium island impact but add kale! The price is expensive but I'm an addict! I think my drink costs 9.00 basically! If you come on Friday its 5.00! That is a great deal! The service is sorta slow! They read the ingredients and really don't seem too enthusiastic! I was excited because I've been going here for a while and recognized the associate behind the counter, who I believe recognized me. I was excited because this location is close to my gym and I was looking forward to my shake, my usual. Another gentleman was also inside, who I figured to be a customer. I was told "sorry, we're closed". I asked again, "I'm not in time?" Apparently the 9pm closing time on their door is inaccurate. I went back to my car to search for another smoothie location that would be open and willing to serve me. Nothing. Searched for other alternatives. Searched maps and Safari. Glancing up, I notice the man inside go and lock the door. Apparently he works there? Never seen him before. Manager, maybe? Looking at my clock in the car: 8:53. Confirmed time on cellphone. I used to really love Smoothie King, particularly this location. The people were friendly and I came so often that they always knew my order. Besides the fact that most employees here are really young, someone was motivating them and teaching them good customer service. About a month ago, a new manager took over this location.. or maybe she'd just never come in before on such a regular basis because as many times and rotating hours I'd come in, I never saw her before. The first thing I noticed is that she's abusive to the people who work for her. I've heard her berate them in front of a busy store full of customers. Then I started noticing other things are off... First she never comes to the counter to take an order, nor will she make a smoothie. She will leave me standing there while she literally yells for someone to come from the back. Second, all of this seems to have really affected how they do their jobs. Gone is the friendly and happy atmosphere. Plus my order started getting made wrong. My last straw was this last week when she yelled at someone for blending my smoothie as a 32 ounce instead of a 20 ounce. And then I watched her pour it into a 20 ounce cup and hand it to me. I don't pay $6 to get half the protein I paid for. I complained to corporate and was told they'd investigate and take proper action. I asked for a refund and was told that they would only do so after they verified the complaint. WHAT? I did some math and my idiot self has spent about $1,000 in the last year at this company. For my support, I was basically told that it was an assumption I would lie about the only complaint I have ever made. Today I purchased a $400 Blendtec blender from Amazon - the exact same blender they use here. I went to Smoothie King and used the last of my rewards points. It's not the mistake or the attitude or anything that made me go this drastic... It's how they dealt with it. I don't need to support Smoothie King with my business, but I used to enjoy doing so. Road to this location from Big Creek Park with my wife and brother on our bikes. Our bill was $19.23 for 3 smoothies. My wife went back to the lady at the counter and asked her for a cup of water. The lady told her that the cup of water would cost .27 cents. I explained that we just spent almost $20 for smoothies and that we shouldn't be charged for water. She still wouldn't give her water. I come to this location ALL the time but today I am here at 11:42am on sat 2/24 (hopefully the owner/manager can piece together who was working- if they care) and the 2 young ladies here are cussing at each other and acknowledged that they were cussing, one said she was going to call the manager and the other said she didn't care, there is water all over the floor both in the dining area and behind the counter. The young lady (I keep saying young lady because neither of them have on name tags and they keep referring to each other as "bruh) rang my order up and it was $16.13.... I told her I have the change- she says I already put it in. I said that's ok, you can just give me a dollar back. I of course get an eye roll. She finishes my smoothie and sets it on the counter w the lid all the way off of it and says "here". I normally LOVE this location because of the customer service especially.... I don't know what happened but these 2 will make me never come back here. You need to do better Smoothie King. read more

I didn't catch their names, one was a little white girl who was so nice to me while taking my order and the other was a girl with a face piercing who made my smoothie wonderfully... This place used to be a Starbucks. It is kind of hard to get in out of the parking lot, but the place is nice, spacious, and clean. A lot of these places go out of business. First time I went to this place I bought a smoothie and asked to scan my rewards code. The scan hadn't gone through and I didn't get my rewards. I got back there one week later to claim it and they said I needed the receipt, which I didn't even get. So that was upsetting to start with. Second time I was coming out of the gym at 8:53 pm and gave them a call asking what time they would close, the girl said they would close in 5 min and I said I was around the corner and on my way. I literally parked there 30 seconds after the call because I got a green light, and saw that one of the girls was just turning off the open sign. Purposely because it was on a Friday and they figured that taking another client 5 min before it closed would be too much. Hard to believe they didn't talk to each other after I hung up and decided to turn off the open sign on purpose in order not to take a customer that was on his way and would get there BEFORE it closed. read more
