There were three employees and no customers when we walked into the shop. We ordered two smoothies direct from the menu. No special requests or anything. While we were waiting two more customers came into the shop--they ordered two smoothies and two food items. They received both of their food items and both of their smoothies before we received our smoothies. At this point four more customers had walked into the shop and while they were ordering one of our smoothies was ready, about 15 minutes or so after we originally ordered. As this next group of people's orders started to come up I walked up to the counter to let them know that we were still waiting on our second item to which I was met with a snarky "yeah..I know". This girl literally could not have been more bothered that I was requesting the item I paid for 25 minutes and 6 other people ago. I was quite literally speechless. Mind you the shop was completely empty when we walked in. There were three employees just standing around and I tipped five dollars ahead of time on a $13 order. It had already been almost 25 minutes and I've not said anything and could not have been met with a more rude response. After the other six customers had come and gone with all of their items, my "smoothie" finally came up and there's no way it was what I ordered. It wasn't even a smoothie. It was a watered down version of I don't even know what. I can't for the life of me understand what happened. When we walked in, they weren't busy. They weren't prepping. They weren't on the phone. Truly the cleanest ingredients you'll find when it comes to buying a smoothie, açaí bowl, and/or juice. Their food menu is also full of healthy eats and fresh, organic produce and proteins. Their Veggie Wrap and Ultimate Grilled Cheese are my go-to's. I usually get The Youthful One which has organic hemp or whey protein, organic almond milk, organic banana, blueberries, dates, coconut oil and vanilla. The Tropical One is my second favorite and consists of organic banana, coconut oil and coconut water, organic kale and pineapple. The only thing you have to keep in mind (especially if you are on a quick lunch break trying to get in and out), is that everything usually takes a while to make - even just one smoothie or juice. I find it's worth the wait every time, though. The store is conveniently located just off the highway (exit 10 on GA 400), and there's plenty of parking. The interior of this place has very limited seating and by limited I mean, one table with two chairs and a bar top area with several high top chairs. The staff here were very disinterested with customers and some other customers were ignored however, my friend and I were not. I ordered a Be Happy bowl (mango smoothie base, chia seeds on the bottom, coconut shavings, pineapple, mango, and granola on top) and you could choose a drizzle of peanut butter, almond butter, or honey. I really loved my bowl - the mango was perfectly ripe, the granola was sweet and contrasted nicely with the smoothie base, the chia on the bottom was the perfect consistency, and all the components of the bowl worked really well together. My main reasoning for taking off two stars despite the delicious bowl is that the bowls are pricey for the portion size, the service, and the lack of seating. I also noticed that other people's orders (take-out) such as the sandwiches and smoothies are very tiny for the high price point. I'd come again for the smoothie bowl alone but also I'll be looking to try other places to see if there's a better price to portion ratio with better service and ambiance. read more

First off, I have been going to this Clean Juice location for well over a year now. I have also had the opportunity to get to know the owner, Natalia, and she is so sweet and has always been prompt in responding and so easy to work with. This isn't the kind of smoothie place that most Americans might be used to, as Clean Juice creations aren't jammed packed with sugar or "turbinado." They are made with fresh ingredients and are cold pressed, so they might not be super sweet like something you would pick up from Smoothie King or Planet Smoothie (and their nutritional facts show it). I've done a one day cleanse, ordered bottled juices, fresh juice, smoothies, shots, bowls, you name it! Everything is FRESH and delicious. They do have an app + rewards program which can save you money. I also love their clean branding and elevated rustic in-store decor! Their location is convenient to downtown Alpharetta and they have ample parking; not a ton of seating, but most people grab and go! You can also order ahead if you're in a rush since sometimes it can take more than a minute to get your order since everything is made fresh to order (except bottled juices). I stood there waiting for several minutes while another customer asked several pointless unrelated questions after already having ordered. Finally they said oh go ahead and I put it my order. It wasn't really juice in my book more of a ice smoothie.... Anyway it tasted .. funky? Like just not right, I'm not sure how to explain it. After about three sips I threw it in the trash. After checking in on Yelp I couldn't help but see their health violations of unwashed fruit and unclean surfaces so I'm assuming that was the odd taste I couldn't quite figure out earlier. Super disappointing! Smoothie is like drinking flavored water.I have tried this place five times for the past two years and consistently the same issue. I have shared this feedback directly with the owner but things have not changed. The smoothies are very watery with no flavor. I ever asked for them to not add water and to be sure it's fruit and other ingredients and got home and threw the $18 smoothie in the trash. I don't know if they are saving on ingredients or staff all not trained. there's no flavor in addition to it being very watery which means they are not using enough fruit. I am within walking distance and would love to go here all the time. My advice...save yourself the money and aggravation and make your smoothie or açaí bowl at home. I've never been one to give reviews or anything of that nature but I'm making an exception with the Clean Juice bar in Alpharetta, GA. Today (8/9/2020) I order a 16oz chocolate one, 16oz Creamsicle, and 2 the wild ones... it took 45 minutes for me to get my order. Each drink came out one by one during that 45 min span and each one melted more and more waiting for the next one. There were other customers in the store yes but not enough to cause such a hold up. I watched as customers were confused on who's drink belong to who because some of us ordered the same smoothies. No names were called that belong to orders, I got 3 of my drinks I ordered all of which I had a 10-15 min wait between each drink. My 4th drink didn't come out for about 20 minutes after my first 3 drinks. Once my 4th drink came out it sat on the counter with no name on it and no one said anything to let me know it was mine. There were 5 young kids who look like they're freshman in high school working. 3 of which were in the back kitchen area doing not a thing. While the 2 of them worked up front slowly getting orders put together in a mess of a work space. Blenders were a mess, counters were a mess, uniforms were messy, and overall just looked very unhygienic of a work space. I understand working in a juice bar making juices, smoothies, etc... You're going to get a little messy but this was not ok. I had my wife and 2 kids in the car waiting 45mins for smoothies. I'm most frustrated because this isn't the first time I've dealt with this at the Clean Juice bar in Alpharetta. It seems to be that there is no real training of staff, no real over sight of employees by a qualified manager or supervisor. Whoever is the owner of this branch of Clean Juice is not doing a great job with hiring, training, and supervising the young staff. There was one instance when I came into the store and the young man working the cash register was told to inform me of a discount if I followed the store on Instagram. The manager (adult woman with reddish color hair) told him to tell me about the discount and he proceeded to decline her and told her to do it... She said nothing to the young man and overall it was unprofessional on both sides. I'm extremely tired of a poorly run store, with poor employee training, and poor management or supervision. I would say that I'm not going to visit the store but I am going to continue to go into the store. I'm going to continue to visit the store and I'm going to continue to write reviews everywhere I can until something changes. The customers that actually enjoy what the Clean Juice bar offers deserve better service. read more

Yummy smoothie bowl without added sugar. Love they have kids options. All of which was reasonably priced considering it's organic produce. I took off a star because I noticed they use Silk almond milk. My assumption was everything is organic. I don't mind paying a little higher price for all organic. I am a Clean Juice fan but this location is the WORST. It consistently takes far too long to order and at least 10-20 minutes to get the order. Today was the last time I'll go here. I had to leave without my order after 20 minutes of waiting, and the order hadn't even been started. Someone ahead of me had ordered $236 worth of salads and all employees were working this assembly line of salads and not attending to the other orders. If I could give -0 stars, I would. This is my second time placing an order with Clean Juice in Alpharetta. The 1st time, I spent $22 for a tiny wrap and tiny 8oz juice, I was not happy with the price compared to what I received. I gave them another try today by ordering the Hardcore, Youthful One and Yummus Bowl, spending $37 with Clean Juice, you would think spending that amount of money on smaller portions they would have more attention to detail. I received my order and it had no utensils in the bag and 1 straw for 2 drinks. I am livid because I am hungry, at work and cant even eat the Yummus Bowl because not only do I not have utensils but they added eggs to my bowl (I'm allergic) and eggs is NOT an ingredient of the bowl! I called Clean Juice to let them know I had no utensils and there was eggs in my bowl and spoke with a young guy who told me " what would you like me to do" he then handed the phone over to Brooke. Although no one came back to the phone, you can hear them both saying "I don't know what to say" and then Brooke hangs the phone up on me. I called back and asked Brooke why she would hang up the phone and does she believe that is best customer service practice and she stated again "I didn't have anything to say" I replied, "so your answer to my issue was to hang up?" She let me know the manager Natalia was unavailable. This is honestly extremely unacceptable, to not put utensils in the bag is one thing but to add eggs to someone's bowl when the ingredients of the Yummus Bowl did not have eggs, is the the part that angers me most. People have food allergies and some can be harmful, and I paid $37 for something I could not eat and instead of providing me with proper customer service, I was hung up on! read more
