Soooo loud. Couldn't hear myself think. Complicated huge menu. Staff was what you would expect, they were fine but got the feeling they didn't want to be there either. Promised my kids a smoothie so had to order. Fortunately the product is good. Don't plan to be back. Turn down the volume

Good place for a smoothie. The flavors are all unique and they have healthy options as well as the standard fruit flavors. Nice in warm weather.

A spur of the moment visit to this Smoothie King while driving down W Touhy Ave towards Edens Expressway. In spite of the parking being shared with other businesses, I had no issues whatsoever finding a spot to park my vehicle. I was acknowledged as soon as I walked up to the counter but needed a brief moment to gauge what I wanted to order on the menu. I could not take my eyes off the plant-based lifestyle options that consisted of smoothies with ingredients I typically incorporate in my daily diet. I ended up ordering a lemon ginger spinach smoothie, after nearly ordering the pineapple spinach smoothie which I will likely order on a different visit. As my smoothie was being made, I could not help but notice the variety of drinks, healthy treats and protein supplements displayed. As a fitness enthusiast myself, the displayed items are the perfect compliment to a healthy lifestyle or someone pursuing it. As for my lemon ginger spinach smoothie, there were no disappointments in it. I was satisfied with the visual appeal of it, along with its delicious taste which I enjoyed while driving along Edens Expressway. All in all, I had a pleasant ordering experience at this Smoothie King. And as stated in this review, I enjoyed my smoothie and would surely visit again whenever in the area or possibly at any other Smoothie King location. ~Have courage. Be Kind. ~ Thomas G

Hulk smoothie that tastes like Gypsum Board. Broken lid with no insert for straw.

I related to the worker, this was my first time here, that I had no idea where to begin. She looked dumbfounded. Didn't talk to me, did not suggest anything. I told her I was interested in perhaps a protein smoothie and had no knowledge of the products. I ordered a hulk. She asked if I would like anything else, I replied well what else is there as I'm unsure what other products are offered, she stood quiet. I saw a sign for smoothie / açaí bowls! I asked about the bowls and she told me she had no strawberries, blueberries or banana, that her co-worker left to the Walmart to retrieve some, but didn't know when he left or when he would be back. Gives me the smoothie, no top or lid, gave me a broken cover that you can't drink from. Spilled over me. The smoothie was not tasteful at all.... :-( 4 ladies walking in after me, and after 30 seconds, they ALL walked right back out, without making a purchase.....

I'm sooo happy they opened a Smoothie King in the area because I am always in the nood for a delicious and healthy smoothie over ice cream or dessert any day. We don't have any other place like it in the area. I ordered the Immune Booster Berry Mix smoothie in a 40oz size large, which was the perfect size to share between my finance and I. I love all the different options available and I'm excited to try more. I posted photos of the menu because I know that's what I always want to see. The location is great! Right in the plaza next to the super Walmart and many other stores. Also conveniently location very close to XSport gym for anyone looking for a post work out protein drinks or healthy snack.

Great to see Smoothie King in Skokie! This is where the old Jimmy John's used to be. I ordered through the app to get rewards in the future. Also get 1 or 2 dollars off on your first order. I got the angel food slim 20 oz and it was great. Definitely an awesome smoothie that was blended well and no chunkie parts. Definitely can taste the quality ingredients. Getting a smoothie here can get pricey especially on the bigger sizes, but its a great treat or post work out drink. My smoothie was ready well before the estimated ready time, which was awesome. They have some indoor seats as well. Workers here seemed friendly. Plenty of parking here since it's in the plaza. Give it a try!

They not only sell vitamins and supplements but it's also a small health food grocery store selling a gamut of organic items from fruit and veggies to prepackaged, frozen items. I especially like their grocery store bulk bins where you can purchase dry goods by the pound. The owner, Mr. Dinesh, is friendly and the store manager has always been helpful. Both always greet me when I visit and if I have trouble finding things, they're always ready to help. One thing not to skip is getting their freshly made in-house samosas. They are ridiculously good and quite possibly the best frickin samosas I've ever had so far. The owner also mentioned to me that they sell lentil soup and Biryani. I'm almost tempted to go back and try that too. JD Mills is situated in a strip mall with ample parking. They have a few dedicated spaces for customers with a 20-minute limit. Check them out! They are an amazing find and a gem in the neighborhood.

I also like that they have the Earth Balance soy-free variety of the vegan butter, since that one is hard to find in supermarkets. And I buy loose-weight jasmine tea here too. Now I've discovered that the owner makes and sells his own samosas here every day -- both regular and gluten-free -- and they taste fantastic and are very reasonably priced ($2.29 each + tax). They come with the two classic red and green Indian sauces. That's a great deal.

I was eating more in regards to all the restaurants as well as my bad habits of not feeling satisfied at home next to my physical checkup I noticed my cholesterol levels were high as well as liver was affected. Also noticed some chronic symptons of my hands having a shakey or tremble feel which I dealt with for 2 years. I decided this year 2023 that the resolution would be 5 weeks of Seattle Suttons which I know works if you follow it and don't eat anything else next to beverages too. I would only drink coffee black and Japanese Green tea with no added milk or sweetners. So far I like this location for distribution because it's along the way from work and they close at 7:00 p.m. before I come home to eat my meals . Foods are served fresh. It's not frozen like a Weight Watchers or Lean cuisine. Do give them a try. If you're trying to lose weight go for the 1,200 calories a day. If this is your first time the first two weeks are going to be painful in cravings that one is used to when they are overweight or obese and you will have cravings to go for the restaurant food as well as home cooked food Don't do it! Resist that temptation if your real goal is to lose weight. You will feel the difference. Once you achieve that you could start eating normally at the restaurant or you can continue on with Seattle Suttons 2000 calorie a day diet which is a lot more than the 1,200 calorie diet. They put no preservatives they took out corn syrup which follows all the guidelines for an American dietitian guidelines for Heart and Diabetes who I've trusted with Seattle Sutton herself. I have noticed sine my 3rd time I was suffering from Sever Allergies and I developed Asthma which made me depressed 10 years ago. I noticed I was gaining weight again and the doctor I went to back then in 2013 just gave me antihistamines and asthma spray which is what I did NOT want to depend on. When I went on this diet I noticed all these sudden illness or symptoms of sickness started to go away! All because of a diet! The other reason why I want to emphasize this diet program because instead of being on medication for treatment from the doctor all you had to do is eat fresh healthy food instead of fast food.
