Service is pretty slow I feel like, but the staff is usually pretty nice. Smoothie King is a large chain so it's not spectacular but you respect the consistency. Not many smoothie places around but this would have to be the best so far in my experience here read more

The smoothie I got was delicious, and it was reasonably priced, however, I was very disappointed that nobody touching, or making the food was wearing gloves. I think they could use a little tutorial on cleanliness and cross contamination. My friend and I just ordered two smoothies. 1 angel food slim with peanut butter and spinach and then 1 angel food slim with almond butter and spinach. We were told that the cup with the sticker had the peanut butter in it. It was wrong. My friend is allergic to peanut butter and started sipping the smoothie with peanut butter. We called and asked to speak to the manger to let them know what had just happened. He did not even apologize, all he said was "thank you for letting me know, I will talk to my staff". I am not one to go out of my way to write a negative review but this is a serious issue that needed to be addressed. read more

At 10:32 am I got in the drive thru line, at 10:44 I ordered through the speaker with 1 car in front of me. I waited and and wated in line. 85 degrees out. And waited at the window, approximately 20 minutes later, the girl came to the window and asked me, "would you like to come inside and wait? No one prepped last night". I stayed in my car and waited for my smoothie until 11:14. I watched through the window while several young confused teenagers ran around, with approximately 8 customers inside. The banner outside says open at 7 am. My one star is for the taste of my smoothie. As for what was in it or if I got what I ordered, I have no clue. This was an absolutely miserable experience! Tonight me and my wife went out to the smoothie king in Waterford, it was our Friday night delight. We started off waiting in line deciding what to order. After that, I ordered the passion passport and then she ordered the strawberry Kewi. We waited a moderate, but acceptable amount of time until our food was ready. They called us up and I grabbed my smoothie. After taking the first sip I can say that everything in my life has changed. I say smoothie king is a magnum opus when it comes to smoothies I've never tasted a smoothie so good. We drove around sipping and happy at our choice of dinner. read more

Update: I've revisited the store a few times since my 1-star review and the service has been prompt & friendly.

Went through the drive thru two days ago. Lady took my order quickly. Drive up to window where the guy promptly took payment. Then I waited. The lady eventually started making smoothies so I thought it would be pretty quick. Then to my surprise the lady that took my order and the guy that took payment walked out with two freshly made smoothies while I sat in my car still waiting. They left. I continued to wait. Eventually the only other person working eventually started making my smoothies. Mine wasn't blended very well once I finally got it. Got to the store before 3 pm and waited in the drive thru for more than 20 minutes for the smoothies with no one in front of me and no paying customers inside. Completely unacceptable. read more

Generally like the Smoothies! Great alternatives. But one star. We, mother and adult daughter, stood at the cashier only to see a man behind us cut to the guy making smoothies, hand him cash and get served first. We waited as everyone, including all the Drive thru patrons, were all served first. We ordered one vegan less-sugar smoothie, one vegan regular, but both smoothies came from the same blender? Blender-guy says he thought they were sweet enough so he made them both less sugar. So we went along with that. Blender-guy stops in the middle of blending to go wait on another patron at the register, and made them samples while our smoothies sat. Finally, sample-people make their decision to order, another person came out and we got our smoothies. We drove away, and two minutes later, while I'm driving, I had an asthma attack drinking what is supposed to be vegan. Pulled over, used an inhaler and went back to put the smoothie back on the counter and say "this is not vegan," guy says it is vegan. No, I don't want a replacement because now it's hard to swallow, thank you very much. He offered my money back, but I said no need -- if you didn't make a mistake, your vegan protein is cross-contaminated.
