We used S'more Play for our photo booth and safe sparklers at our wedding in August 2025, and they were amazing from start to finish. The team kept us updated, gave us tons of options, and always got back to us quickly whenever we had a question. On the day of, they handled everything without us even needing to check in once. At one point a sparkler didn't go off the way it should have, and before we even had a chance to notice, they had already handled it and made up for it later. That kind of customer service and thoughtfulness meant so much in the middle of our big day. The photo booth was such a highlight - sleek, super easy to use, and a total crowd favorite. Guests loved the props, the fact that they could print multiple copies or text the photos to themselves, and we loved that we got a full digital album afterward. They also worked with us to tweak our photo strip design until it was perfect, and they were fast with the edits. We'd recommend them in a heartbeat. S'more Play was included with our wedding package at the Carlsbad Windmill. The package came with the 3 Hour Photo Booth. We were able to pick our own backdrop but we upgraded to the Grass Wall with White Roses & Wisteria rental. We were excited that we were able to include our personalized neon sign. Only catch is that we had to provide our own supplies to attach to the backdrop. It was easy to supply and fortunately our day of coordinator was able to step in and set it up and the backdrop came out beautifully. I loved that S'more Play gave so many options for our wedding photo strip; from the layout, font, design, etc. They made sure my husband and I were satisfied with the end result. The Photo Booth props did not disappoint, makes a great addition to wedding memories. Abby the attendant was pleasant, professional, and helpful to ensure our guests were ready for each photo. She was very patient with our guests as well because some family members were still taking photos that exceeded the 3 hours. At first I was just looking for a photo booth for our wedding when I saw that S'more play did this AND a s'more bar AND sparkler fountains! Brendan was great out of the gates when I called, giving me a quick quote and explaining all the details of the setup. After a short conversation, I was sold and I paid up moments later via a link he sent. They had just expanded to the Palm Springs area and Brendan assured me we were in good hands with Chad, one of their managers who had set up the business there and would be handling our event. Chad is a great communicator and had awesome energy before and during the event. He did a walk through of the wedding venue (the Cree Estate in Cathedral City) the day before and set everything up day-of. For the booth, we opted for photo strips and he helped us select our strip design, sending us proofs, as well as backgrounds. He also had a lot of fun props and, from the digital copies he shared with us afterward, everyone had a blast. Even though we hired a professional photographers, some of the booth photos turned out to be our favorites. After I decided to get the sparkler fountains, I was a little concerned I may have gone overboard but afterward, it was clear to me that it was worth every penny. We used them for our first dance and Chad timed them to go off during our first dance when I dipped my wife. We also passed our hands through the sparks and people were blown away. Finally, the s'mores were a fun activity where people could get together and hang out away from the other wedding action. Chad went above and beyond to get us some vegan and gluten-free options for our guests with dietary restrictions. We recently used S'more Play for a graduation event, and they were wonderful! I loved receiving a thorough survey ahead of time that let me customize our photo strips to match our event vibes, and I was able to contact them easily through email, phone, and texting as needed. On the day of the event, they were set up promptly - although I couldn't find them at first, since the venue hid them in a little alcove. When S'more Play realized that we had overlooked them for the first hour of the event, the attendant, Hazel, warmly agreed to stay longer - and we're SO glad that she was willing!! That last hour ended up being the most active of all, I think, and there was a steady stream of guests waiting their turn. We chose the plain greenery background since it was a formal (non-wedding) event. (Their only neon signs said things like "Happily Ever After" which wasn't quite what we wanted - would love to see a simple "Congratulations!" or "Hooray!" that works for a wider variety of occasions!) Many of our guests enjoyed posing for romantic photos with their partners or formal(ish) group photos with their colleagues. At LEAST as many wanted to be goofy, though, and the props that S'more Play provides were a hit! We now have delightful memories of our graduates and faculty posing with tiny sombreros, oversized sunglasses, emoji signs, and more. I wouldn't hesitate to use S'more Play again, and highly recommend them. Hazel in particular was super sweet and good at reading the room - she understood that some guests wanted to be left to their own shenanigans while others appreciated some coaching and encouragement. We booked S'more Play through our venue, Wedgewood Weddings in Fallbrook, CA. Everything was great with the process. The props were awesome and they let us bring in our own photobook and Fathead of our pup! I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because when our guests emailed their photos to themselves, S'more Play left a banner of another event on our photos. Instead of attaching our name and custom banner, they kept a different event from what looked like 2017. That was a little sad when our guests were posting on social media and that event popped up. We used S'more Play for our winery wedding in Temecula on 10/18/14. For some random reason, it has been my dream to have a s'mores bar at my wedding. We also happened to be looking for a photobooth, so since you can get both at a discounted rate, we booked them! I give the s'mores booth a definite 5 stars, if not more. It was probably the biggest hit at our wedding! We paid for the middle package, but they also surprised us with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, which of course is a crowd pleaser. The actual set-up itself looks really nice, and the staff was friendly. The middle package is a great deal - 3 hours is a great length of time! The photobooth was staffed with a super friendly woman, and the props were great. The quality of the photobooth was not the greatest, because it was hard to get groups in the shot and the camera was backwards (so if you move to the left, you move to the right on the screen). Hopefully they can fix that small thing, and then the company would be gold! (I'd also recommend a step stool available for groups in the booth, or maybe it was just how ours was set-up). We booked S'more Play for the s'more station for three hours and I couldn't be any more happy with their service! The worker went above and beyond for my party! Not only did he have his station set up beautifully (just like their pictures!), but he was also super helpful to me with setting up the party like putting things away, cleaning up trash, and refilling drinks and food! I booked the smore's & hot cocoa bar for my fallbrook wedding on 5/31/15 for 2 hrs in the evening time. It was a perfect amount of time for my 140 guests, and I could not have been more happier with how well it turned out. It was a total hit at the wedding especially for the handful of children I had attending. All of my guests are still talking about how awesome and cool the smores bar was. We used S'more Play through Wedgewood at the Orchard in Menifee. We had a 5 hour package with custom photo strips that had our names and wedding date. It was a large booth with many props. The main reason we picked this vendor was because they had video capabilities, and we were really excited about that. No other photobooth we looked at had that capability. They make two sets of every strip and mounted them in a book right there for people to sign for us. I never got any type of disc or access to any online gallery so I don't know about that or what happened, but we took the book home right from the wedding. It also seemed that no one used the video feature, which we are really disappointed with, since that is the main reason we chose them. Not sure if they didn't make our guests aware or what happened. We ordered the deluxe smore bar for my daughters wedding this weekend. It was supposed to come with extra sauces and metal skewers. It had neither. We paid for heart shaped chocolate which were not there (just broken up pieces of a Hershey's bar). Basically a table....table cloth and a three tiered metal tin of the ingredients. Less than impressing. They were super late and setting up during the reception in the middle of our guests which was unprofessional and embarrassing. The gentleman working the bar was very nice and friendly, however, it was his first day which is very disappointing that they would send someone by themselves to a wedding without sending someone experienced to teach him what to do and to make sure he had what was ordered and paid for. S'mores Play Pros: Two prints with 4 pictures, Color/Black & White prints, photo booth attendant, reasonable price. Cons: Limited setup and tear down times (you pay more to not have them set up during your wedding), Multiple computer/photo issues, long delay for pictures in digital form.. December 13th, 2014 I had my wedding with 160 guests. I chose this photo booth company because it was reasonably priced for the amenities that were offered. Unlimited photos with two prints for each photo shoot. A free memory book for guest to put the extra picture slide if they wished to. There were multiple props for the guest to use along with a unique background for the pictures. The guest were also allowed to choose between black and white or color prints. There was an attendant present to help the guest with any questions or technical difficulties with the machine. S'mores Play was responsive to all my initial emails and questions and this led me to believe this would be the right company for the right value. The performance of this company was different the day of the wedding. The photo booth and the attendant showed up late and were not set up until 30 minutes after the original start time. The photo booth is only rented for 4 hours so we'd already lost 1/8 of our time. The camera is positioned very high in the booth and the chairs they provide are low;taking pictures in the seated position only your head shows. The last and most frustrating issue was the photo booth stopped working due to technical difficulties for over 30 minutes making us loose an additional 1/8 of our time but causing the guest to never migrate back for photos. The attendant did not seem to think these issues were that inconvenient, in fact he shut the booth down a few minutes early because as he reasoned to me; "no one seems to want to take anymore pictures." This was not an additional issue to think/worry about on our wedding day. Overall, my experience with the S'mores Play was negative; my wedding guest had a great time and we have a few goofy photo booth photos to prove it; but that doesn't negate the problems I experienced. My first complaint to S'mores Play after the wedding was answered with their statement that they were sorry for the unfortunate experience I had and would agree to my refund of ¼ of total cost. I was pleased this was resolved without additional time and headache. read more

Absolute great company!! 10 days before my wedding, I was scammed by another photobooth company and I explained my predicament to the owner of the company (forgot his name, but he was great) and he listened to me and found a way to help my husband and I out. I was so grateful for them, especially since our wedding was a week away and I'm sure no other photobooths would have been available... but he found a way to help us! PLUS, he gave us a discount because of our situation. I almost started crying because the photobooth company I booked pretty much robbed us $400!
