I love the inside of this gym. But wow, there really needs to be giant signs about the parking situation. Parking in front of the gym on the main street, in an open space, will lead to $400+ of fines, tows, and issues in Bexley. The signs are not apparent or close to the spaces. Snap fitness needs to warn customers about this! If you are towed, you will have to pay a parking ticket, tow fee, and mayors court fee -- which adds up to a couple days of hunting for your car and eventually dropping of checks to various departments. After this, I could never go back to this gym again. In general, I now avoid Bexley like the plague. read more

My personal favorite execution of the Snap Fitness idea! There's almost always enough equipment and space for everybody. Facilities are also very well kept & clean. Plenty of ways for the members to engage with each other as well + the staff is very kind. read more

UhOh. Went in to check it out, to possibly join. Man did they need a cleanup. It was around 10 and I talked to the manager, who did say he got in, got busy, and didn't have a chance to cleanup. Maybe you could hire a company to help you put your best foot forward. I'll look elsewhere. read more

I love the 24/7 access. Also, it's a nice place with lots of windows and floor space. I subtract stars for the lack of locker rooms as well as the limited number of ellipticals. I've had to wait to use one. Still though, the folks are friendly and the spot is convenient. read more

Convenient location between home, work and grocery. No one bothers me at the gym - I can get in, do my thing, and get out at most times of the day. Bexley is my favorite location: spacious, sunny and friendly customers. As a woman, I feel most comfortable getting into the weight machines at this location because I'm not competing in a small space. read more

I Inquired on their website and setup a time to stop in to start my 7-day free trial. The guy no showed me, and I had to reach back out to schedule a new time. Also, he'd never give me a straight answer on how much a membership cost...Major red flags. Once I signed up for the trial, I was excited to become a member. No frills, never too busy, 24/7 access. I really enjoyed the space. Fast-forward to day 7...Again, I had to reach out to the gym to inquire about becoming a member. They apparently don't have a call schedule to keep track of where people are in the sales pipeline??? Long story short - After I finally was able to get in touch they wanted $250 down and $19 monthly OR $49 down with $49/month. I couldn't help but laugh. read more

This is a review of the Snap Fitness on E. Main in Bexley. Disclaimer: I have only been a member for about a month. I have been a member of the YMCA downtown, Aussie Fit East, and the JCC before this and am comparing to those clubs. Negatives: 1) There are no lockers, locker room, or showers. I usually like to go to my workout straight from work. There are large restrooms with benches for changing, but my work clothes have to be stuffed in a cubby shelf and I can't shower before putting them back on. So let me be clear, if you need showers, this is not the place for you. There are lock boxes for your valuables. 2) It is priced about the same as the other clubs I mentioned, that have amenities like pools, steam rooms, group classes, etc.. 3) The floor exercise area is a little on the small side, with 3 floor mats and related floor exercise equipment. But adequate. Positives: 1) This is by far the cleanest club I have been in. Everything seems new, not worn out and dirty. It is always clean. The bathroom is spotless, unlike some other clubs. Free weights are always off the floor and stacked. Even the mirrors and doors appear to be cleaned regularly. All members seem to be contentious about using the cleaning spray and towels on equipment after use. 2) The equipment is new and there is pretty much everything most people would need. Understand that this is not a big place with lots of equipment, but what there is, will be fine for most. 3) It's not crowded. I usually work out after work and mornings on weekends, yet I have never had to wait to use any equipment. 4) It's available 24/7. Unlike the JCC which is closed Saturday mornings and for about 15 holiday days a year. 5) Trainers seem to be there all the time I don't use them. I'm sure they are an extra fee, but they are used by a lot of patrons. 6) No annoying loud music. No annoying pop videos. Sound is turned off on TVs. No sales literature for classes or sports supplements lying around. (Aussie Fit has all the above) In general, I find this to be a more clean, more quiet, and less crowded experience than at any other club I have belonged to. read more

Joined about a year ago when my former gym was shut down, and it has ended up being a great move. Been to a few Snaps here, and all are well equipt and affordable. I paid less monthly for a "meat market" gym. This place is great. Everyone respects the "I have my headphones in, so don't talk to me" rule. No drooling meatheads making you feel uncomfortable with every rep. (Note: meatheads reading this review, please go elsewhere. Or at least respect the fore mentioned rules). You can save by prepaying for a full year. I've also heard that other locations run different specials. You can shop around until you get the price you'd like and still access any location. read more

Location and 24/7 access is great. But after the one-month introductory rate, this place is too expensive for what it is: no locker rooms or amenities of any kind. For that rate I can join a gym that has locker rooms, steam, towels, classes, etc. read more

SNAP fitness is convenient for me. It is close to home and I can use it anytime. The trainers I have worked with helped keep me motivated, especially through Spring and Fall. The other people exercising are friendly and create a safe atmosphere. read more

Pretty good selection of equipment, very clean, and friendly staff. I love that it is open 24 hours, and it is rarely crowded. The previous location had several TVs with remotes so that you could watch whatever you want, but this location has TVs that are always off and apparently do not turn on; I am not sure why that is. read more

Throughout my life I've had many personal trainers, some good and some bad. Snap fitness was by far my WORST experience, not just with personal training but their business side as well. Dustin the sales manger gave me a hard 45 minutes sales pitch to sign a six month contract for personal training. Promises of customized macro planning, individualized written work out plans tailored to your needs, regular check ins, ect. None of which actually happened. The macro plan given to me was done by me being told to go on a website to figure out my macros and once that was done for a more accurate calculation a purchase must be made. I was handed the same 2 pages of typed workouts for my sixth months of training that was handed to every client regardless of skill level, in my 3-4 months of training I had 2 check ins. I honestly feel like once you sign the contract they put in little effort since your money is guaranteed. As if the false advertising wasn't bad enough I often had to guide the trainer Ethan through our workouts giving him ideas on how to add intensity and target specific areas. Ethan the trainer also worked the front desk so during my 2$ dollar a minute, 30 minute sessions he would leave our session to deal with walk in inquires for 10-15 minutes of our session, time I'm paying for. This happened on a REGULAR basis and the session still ended in 30 minutes idespite him being absent for 1/3 -1/2 of the session. I injured my hand and got a doctors note, I have never been so happy to be injured in my life because the only way you can get out of your contract is by moving or a doctors note. I was told my unused sessions would not be refunded, which I didn't argue because At that point I was so over it I'd rather loose $150.00 dollars and just be done with it opposed to continue to throw away $350 every month until my contract ended. My contract was canceled the next month. To my surprise (I wasn't surprised I expected it) I was charged $350.00 dollars despite my void with the business weeks prior. I went into the gym Irate and asked for a copy of my contract. The contract stated I SHOULD be given a refund for my unused sessions. I pointed out, that the contract clearly states that I should be reimbursed and with Embarrassment Ethan reluctantly gave me my money back. The final straw and reason I broke and decided to write a review was months after cutting ties with them they tried to sneak another 350$ dollars out of my account, I honestly think it was in hopes I wouldn't noticed. They are scam artists and false advertise what they offer. The ONLY positive thing I can say is the gyms clean yet small. read more

I love the new space! It has a great vibe and extremely helpful employees. The studio space is absolutely beautiful and nothing like cold press juice to end my workout. Love it and recommend it to friends! read more

This is probably one of the best Snap Fitness gyms I've been in. The others are kinda awkwardly shaped and you can tell the building was once an office or something but this one is open, spacious, has the essentials, not crowded, and a nice scene out the window. read more
