I typically go to the Westminster location and I didn't realize the difference until coming to Thornton. The Thornton location is dirty, nobody welcomed me even though I looked lost, it smells, half the machines were out of service or looked a lot older than the other location, it was very crowded, the layout doesn't make sense, the one bike I was on in the theater room made a clicking noise every rotation, the circuit timer is nonexistent so I used my phone timer, and I sat in the sauna for 45 minutes and didn't break a sweat! I met a girl in the sauna and she said she goes there for convenience but hates it because everything is always broken. The only thing I liked was the stand up tanning bed option but I wasn't able to use it because they were all full and by that time I was over it. It needs a major facelift! read more

Chuze changed up my gym game! The fact that you can watch a movie on a big screen while being in a treadmill, time flies! Chuze is affordable for a gym membership, the staff have always been amazing at this location, and it is always clean. I have never had a cleanliness issue here. The reason for my 4 stars, is that they DO get mad busy so trying to fit your full body workout in can be tough. But that just shows how many people like it here. Also, because some of the cardio equipment is always out of order, for like weeks at a time, which makes it tough to try to fit these in during high traffic times. I really like this gym. With my membership, I am able to bring my teenage son with me and he loves it too. I never have an issue finding open cardio equipment. I like the movie room. I also like the main area because I can watch the local news while I use the treadmill. The woman's bathroom is always clean and I usually don't have any issues with the circuit machines. My only feed back is sometimes the parking lot is really dark early in the morning. I've gone several times before work and it's super dark in the parking lot because all the lights are off. It doesn't make you feel like your vehicle is safe. read more

I came here as a guest of a member and the gym staff was super friendly. The gym appeared to be clean. First time I see a movie theater in a gym which is very cool but it's 8.30pm can we please not put kids movies on lol. Spa etc is closed to pandemic. I love this Chuze location. It's ALWAYS clean and the staff members are always walking around making sure everything looks spotless. The bathroom is always clean and the toilet paper is always stocked. The people working the front desk seem to know a lot of customers by name which is cool and personable. Like any other gym, Chuze can get pretty busy around peak times so I recommend avoiding 3-7 on week days if you can. I've tried everything here besides the hydro massage chairs and tanning booths and so far I have no complaints. I do wish there was a better way to clean the yoga mats that are provided-I feel that the sanitizing wipes don't do much for them. I love going in the sauna and then rinsing off and getting in the jacuzzi to end my work out. I'm excited to try the hydro massage chairs soon. $25/month for a membership that includes access to all Chuze locations and a pool/jacuzzi/sauna is a great deal to me :) read more

I totally understand you get what you pay for. And a $20/month gym membership seems pretty fair and an overall good deal. And I completely agree. But I would at least hope a business could factor in a snow shovel into their profit and loss margin. Wadding through slush and slosh to get in and out of the front door is absolutely ridiculous. When I asked if they could at least make a path for us to get through the reply was "we pay someone to do that". Well apparently you are paying them to do absolutely nothing. Either find a new contractor to fix this issue (I belong to two other gyms and this is the only gym with this issue again and again) or take up a collection from the members and buy a $40 shovel. If you do plan on working out here please plan to bring an extra pair of shoes or galoshes. read more

The gym is clean, the tanning/pool/massage chairs/etc are all nice, but the top 20 TikTok songs they blast over the speakers are annoying if you go regularly and louder than even my earbuds at max volume. They need to enforce a dress code, I can see more of people's bodies than the very doctor who delivered them at birth. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable and I am afraid of someone misunderstanding a casual glance for harassment. There should also be a rule about not scrolling through social media during busy times, the lines for machines and weights are ridiculous during the busy times because Zoomers are sitting in the way, on TikTok. The shake bar is great. The new water bottle station is appreciated. read more

The gym is clean and the staff is mostly friendly. The 3 stars is because the main reason my husband and I come here is for the Express Circuit. We come on our lunch break to get a quick 30 minute workout done however, almost every time we go there are people sitting on the machines, scrolling through their phones. This prevents us from utilizing the circuit the way it is intended. We asked the staff if they could do anything about it and they said no. We also asked if we could say something to those folks who are simply just sitting on the machines doing nothing and we were told sure, but that they would not enforce them moving. Even just a sign that says "If you are not using the circuit please do not use these machines" would be sufficient, but they are not willing to do anything about it. It's unfortunate because other than that the gym is good. read more

I normally go to the Westminster location but was in the area and stopped by the this location and I was very disappointed. A lot of the lockers they have are broken, many of the hand sanitizer dispenser are also broken or not filled. Compared to the other Chuze locations, this one scores very low and it just looks like it is not well maintained. read more

The equipment is fine and for the most part kept clean. Super frustrating that the sauna never works and when it does the temp is around 140. I would recommend somewhere else if you're looking for anything other than super bare minimum. read more

Love it here. Kids club is great! Hours are from 8am-12pm & 4pm-8pm. Solid times for working parents. 8am-12pm for weekends. Jacuzzi steam room sauna pool +gym equipment is amazing to me. Laslow is staff who looks after my kids while I workout. Grateful to be here read more

Upon entering the doors of the gym at 7am as I do almost everyday I was greeted with "your welcome". An employee of yours was opening the double doors and I didn't even notice he worked there until I was halfway past him. When I didn't say thank you he immediately said "your welcome" This is the second time I have had negative interactions with staff at this location so I'm sharing my experience. I am a veteran with severe ptsd. I don't talk to many people let alone have negative interactions. This is supposed to be a judgement and stress free environment but I'm feeling exactly the opposite. The more upsetting part is the supervisor took his side immediately saying "people usually say thank you when others hold doors for them" Honestly no one is obligated to say anything to anyone. I don't talk to people for this exact reason and now I don't even want to talk to the staff here. Pretty bummed. read more

11/17 12:56 pm. Disgusting, Chuze fitness; manager name - unknown I was In the sauna. I was asked by a blonde girl who worked at Chuze to remove my flip flops. I refused to take my flip flops off because other people were not sitting on a towel and were dripping ass sweat all over the place. She did not ask them to sit on a towel, so why should I remove my flip flops. She threatened to get the manager and I said please do, the manager never came. Only half of the hair dryers work and the shower faucets leak. The bench to sit on is next to the lockers which blocks people from gaining access to their locker because your in the way putting your socks and shoes on. Or girls sit on the bench playing with their phones and you have to ask them to move so you can get into your locker. I am not sure why they can't install a bench away from the lockers, they have plenty of wasted space. This was a great place when the first opened but has gone down hill since. read more

It's clean and has lots of lifting and cardio options as well as a steam room, sauna, and hot tub. There is something for everyone here and the theater room is a nice get away. I wish they had better lifting clips, the metal spring ones are a pain, and some shampoo and conditioner in the showers would be nice. read more

I liked Chuze, the only thing that really bothered me is when I had a question about how the tanning bed works. He told me to go in and push a button. Couldn't be bothered to show me. Same when I asked about the sauna, I just got a shrug and said I guess you push the button and go in. Nobody wanted to show me the ropes when I'd ask. I'm getting ready to go back to Chuze after having to stop the gym for a year. It would be nice if someone would actually take the time to show me how to use more than just the front door. read more

I like this gym, although sometimes it gets a bit crowded! They offer tanning, but two beds is not nearly enough- they are usually is use and require a wait which is a bummer! They do have a steam room and a lap pool with the upgraded memberships which is a nice addition from the small gyms in the area. The staff here is always great- too get two or three hellos the second you walk in, which I love! Overall pretty cool gym- they even have a dark cardio room where you can work out while watching a movie, it almost feels like a theater! read more

We've been at this gym for a few months now and it's the best in the area for what I call the "$10 intro gym" category. We checked out all the others -- Anytime, Planet Fitness, etc. and this is the cleanest, largest and best gym. They have so many options for workout equipment. We love the hydromassage chairs, cinema, big free weights area, friendly staff, etc. Yes, of course it's crowded on weeknight evenings, but I've never had to wait for a machine or anything. My husband and I have been members here for a few months and we wish we would have joined earlier! There is so much space and it is organized in a way that allows people to explore different exercise styles. Do you prefer cardio or free weights or machines? They have group classes and a lap pool as well as a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There is an area where you can do body-weight workouts and even a circuit for those who never know which machines to use (me). I personally love the cardio theatre, which is an awesome way to get in a 5k! I also love that with the mid-range membership, for only $20/m you get weekend guest privileges, all classes AND hydro massages! Such an amazing price for super friendly staff, wide range of work-out options, very clean facility and though I do try to avoid the rush right after work hours (around 5-6pm), I have never really felt like it was overcrowded. read more

I don't even know where to begin in attempting to review this gym. Let me start by saying that I used to be a HUGE gym rat. In fact, I would go every single day, work on my fitness and had a 6 pack. Now that I have become a huge foodie, I put that 6 pack on the back burner - but feel the need to get back into it. Enter Chuze (pronounced choose). This gym has it all, literally. A huge weight room, tons of cardio machines, a circuit training area - and that's just the beginning! They also offer a "movie theater", which plays movies on a huge projector screen, in a room full of treadmill and elliptical machines so your workout doesn't have to be boring! Also, free tanning, hydro massages, pool/sauna/hot tub and access to classes come with the 2nd level membership which sis by far the best. Packages start at $9.99 a month and $19.99 a month for level two! I was shocked at the prices, amazing staff (who graciously gave us a tour) and allowed us to really dive into what the memberships entail. Thankfully, there are multiple locations across the city, which is really great! They need better staffing in their kids club the girls their are so unfriendly no smiling nor any greeting upon arrival when I drop my kids off or when I come pick them up seems like they hate their job. The vibe they give off needs to change as they are working at a kids club!! Surrounded by kids and interacting with kids. Try being more friendly and try smiling. Those girls need to fix their attitude. Or find another job not involving children. Not satisfied with their child care program here at all. I don't pay extra $$$ for my kid to be watched by two girls with attitude problems with no manners or customer service. The hiring process needs to be more strict with who they let in. read more

Circuit training area is laughable because people use the machines like their personal gym - not the circuit for which it is intended. Management is impotent. I love Chuze! Always clean, friendly staff, tons of equipment. Love the open area with AstroTurf & equipment! Love the options to upgrade membership OR to keep the $10 a month which is an amazing deal for what Chuze offers. Only thing I would change is slightly longer hours on Sat and Sunday such as until 9-10. I don't get off school until 7 on Saturday's so I can't make it to the gym. My husband and I have been at this gym for about a month now so I think I can give a fair review. We recently moved to Colorado and fitness is a huge part of our lives. We were really spoiled with the gym we had in Washington and coming here, most of the gyms did not work for us. ChuzeFitness did. Things we like about this gym: newer equipment, clean space, good environment, well laid out, friendly employees and we like that there is an app so we can check in using the barcode we can pull up from our phone so we don't have to hang the barcodes on our keys. The only downsides to this gym: there isn't a true squat rack or deadlifting areas and it always seems really crowded (we've gone at 4 am and at 4 pm and it's still about the same). Otherwise, it's a good place to get a workout in. I recommend it. read more

My favorite gym in town! I am training for a fitness competition and I am so grateful for the membership that allows me to bring my friends in for free to workout with me. I need all the help and support I can get. They offer group classes, have a pool, a CINEMA cardio center and have a sauna. If you like to work out solo and don't care so much about all the other amenities the membership is only $10 per month. The staff is super friendly and everyone always says goodbye and hello. That means a lot to me when staff looks like they're enjoying their jobs because that means management is keeping up on things. Best part is, no broken equipment! read more
