I believe this facility is only accessible through a personal trainer. When you walk in there's an area to leave your outdoor footwear, seating as well as a counter that sells water and coffee. The change room has lockers, weigh scale, showers as well as washroom facilities. There's even bottles of lotion by the sink! From a glance around the gym there's all the usual equipment that you'll find at any gym as well as some that I've never seen before. The ground level has two sections of weight lifting equipment and the upper floor has cardio machines, TRX, dumbbells and mats. Can't wait to see what my trainer has in store for me.

Since this location came out a few years ago, all their equipment are fairly new. They even have a automatic scanning turnstile door since this gym is 24/7 and staff is not on standby later at night. They have a clean and big space for their change rooms. Their group fitness class and biking rooms are slightly smaller than a few other gyms I've been to. I recently started getting back into Hot Yoga which unfortunately does not come with your regular membership; it costs +10/biweekly which is fair to say if you go constantly. The Hot Yoga studio fits about 15-17 people and they have heated vents from the top. It's a great and 100% sweaty workout that lasts for 1 hour. Before COVID; you would be able to walk in but now, they do require you to use the app to book prior. However, it is a very easy and simple app to use. Staff here have been great and friendly whether on the phone or in person in regards to questions and account set up.

The upstairs cardio area fits a lot while still leaving space for people to move around. Hot Yoga studio, Group Fitness studio, PEAK studio and even one of those Mind Den rooms are all packed into this Longo's corner gym. It's not fully staffed during late hours but that's why there's a turnstile - be mindful of the shower & sauna hours because those to are only during staffed hours. Staff is friendly and there were plenty around for 1pm. Cleanliness is also top notch but I'll attribute that partly to it being a newer location. As soon as I confirmed that I was indeed Ukrainian she stressed that the first class is free since I'm new to the gym, but I have to pay next time I come in. Frankly, I wasn't even aware of that the first class was free - I was happy to pay. She then proceeded telling me how "all these Ukrainians" take advantage and "think they can just sneak into free classes without paying". I was extremely offended by such blatant generalizations. Needless to say, I walked out immediately as I feared that a person of my nationality would be unwelcome there. And based on a quick look around the place, it felt like a dungeon and the equipment was dated. I wouldn't recommend it.

Great selection of quality cardio equipment. The gym is a little small but in my one month of membership I have not had to wait for any equipment (although I typically work out past 8PM - rush hour might be different.) Seems to have a good selection of class offerings although I haven't attended any. Facility is very clean and extremely pleasing aesthetically. There is always somebody walking around cleaning. Age group 18 and up and members have solid gym etiquette; practically all weights are always in the right place. The weekend hours could be better. It's open till 11pm on Friday, 7pm on Saturday /Sunday, and midnight on weekdays. Overall 4.5/5, very solid gym, extended hours would make it 5/5 for me.

The other kick boxing place on Leslie was closed down and I wanted to try kick boxing versus the traditional HIIT boot camps. I'm glad that I did. I was super nervous and anxious doing this all by myself but as soon as I walked in - I was greeted by the coach who went on a first name basis and introduced me to the staff. I was welcomed by the other guests as well. That eased me into the work out. There was a lady - forgot what her name was, she went through each round with me. It was the fastest, sweatiest work out I've done since the lockdown happened and I felt like death but it was so much fun. It was good to get back in shape. It has been a week of going to the classes and I enjoy them. All of the coaches take the time to walk you through each round and sanitizing the stations to keep everyone safe. I loved how I am getting a full body work out while learning how to do kick boxing. I also love the fact that they have early morning classes, everyone is super nice and the coaches are super patient. I thought I was pretty bad in shape and my coordination SUCKS but the coaches really take the time to help you and I really appreciate that. The price of the sessions aren't too bad and I would say it is better than most gyms that I've researched in the area.

I do the same thing as all the other people there but they modify everything for me so I am able to work to my maximum without getting injured and no sparring. The trainers pay a lot of attention to everyone and really know what we are capable of doing. I have only been doing it a month and my balance is better and my form has improved (slightly) and I am a bit stronger. It is actually a lot of fun and I didn't expect that. I really look forward to going and it is such a different activity I also think this is good for my brain. I really can't say enough good things about this club.
