Nobody at the Y ever reached out to encourage my participation or hold me accountable. I just turned 40 and I decided that I want to be more fit. The Marble Method is helping me get there. I have several injuries (knee, shoulder, wrist) as well as diastasis recti that I have to be careful not to worsen and the trainers are all about injury prevention and stress good form. They also emphasize core which also helps with injury prevention. The trainers make novices like me feel comfortable and they teach and correct form as often as is needed. There are all levels of fitness in the community and all the other members have all been super encouraging. Something must have clicked because I went 4 times my first week and I am actually looking forward to going to workout. I want to reach my own fitness goals and I feel like I found the right gym and the right trainers to get me there.

Not only do they not enforce the rules or even pay any attention, they have been rude to me multiple times, especially Darlene and Joe, and I have gotten hurt because they let all kinds of stuff just float around or let people get in without any warning. They allow people to not share lanes (against the rules). If some members have the privilege of treating the place as their private pool, then why should I pay the same price since I am treated like a second class citizen? The rest of the place is nice and friendly, but if you are a SWIMMER, STAY AWAY! Also, I have not been able to figure out how to reach out to their board, which is fishy. I have reached the point of just quitting the most expensive gym in town where the lifeguards have created such a hostile environment that just thinking about going there gives me anxiety.

Every other PF and their HQ have refused pleas to turn them off. HQ passes the buck. The local gyms and franchise owners pass it back. This gym owns what they air. When I complimenetd the staff they simply said "this is suppose to be a relaxing place". Yeah!! They actually understand their role. Now, I hate the new equipment; the recumbent bikes are uncomfortable; seats hard as rocks, back support even harder. Was miserable. They have no arc or elliptical machines, replaced by some ridiculous thing that really sucks. They do have treadmills but no one should ever use a treadmill as they are awful for you. The gym is clean, a big win.

Level one has reception, pool access, locker rooms for men & women, daycare for kids, vending machines, personal trainers to help with all the athletic equipment. Second floor has walking-running circle, exercise bikes, class room, boxing corner, workout corners, & a restroom. Cost is very reasonable for people of all ages. I enjoy watching the kids run laps while I walk, staff & members are friendly so you can't not want to go there. Most importantly for everyone is you are exercising in a clean, orderly, safe, & well ventilated area.
