They also had fees to park in parking lots starting at $30, but you still had to walk. The walk wasn't bad at all and luckily the rain finished and it wasn't as hot. We stayed at the part of the park before the bridge. It was a nice set up with a walking trail, grass, a few picnic tables, inside restrooms and a playground. Two or three food trucks. The other side of the park had more stuff along with the VIP area. Liked this side of the park since we could comfortably place our chairs down in the grass and be close enough to the bathrooms. The music was streamed from the other side. I didn't like it because it was orchestra and classical music the whole time. The fireworks were ok and you saw it on the distance not too far. But the music made it sleepy for me. This is just my reminder for next year. At least we had good parking, weather, seats, & clean restrooms. Line for them wasn't too bad.

And sandwiches and a cafe with wraps, etc. *friendly staff *good team store- packed with great spring training and regular merch... but very tight on space which made it difficult to navigate with many fans *clean bathrooms with several stalls *great scoreboard CONS: *NO military discount ( discontinued 2 years ago per store employee) AND final sale only , so I had to try on shirts over my jersey ( still difficult)...cone on, other parks don't do this * no souvenir helmets for dippin dots, no ice cream with helmets...only souvenir soda cups Apparently there are no minor league teams here because there are too many other teams within an hour radius ( I say let the Yankees move to Cactus League!!!)

This review is specifically for the LWR location, but also for the admin of the company. They will switch swim instructors without warning and force your child into uncomfortable situations with these new strange instructors. You will have no opportunity for a refund as they will offer you a make up class with another new instructor, even if your child is not comfortable. Every week seems to be new rules about which lanes are allowed to be used which also triggered my son who needs routine. Sometimes the kids are disrupted mid lesson to switch lanes/locations in the pool to allow for gym members to use certain lanes. Children are not allowed to use the bathrooms and when I asked about using the family bathroom I was told no because my child was wet. So good luck if your child needs to go to the bathroom- I guess they are expected to go in the pool (which my special needs child will not). I have a son without special needs and have also removed him from lessons here as the quality has really gone down hill over the past 2 months. We will be seeking lessons elsewhere in the area with a company who is open to teaching those of all needs and abilities.

They have high active membership as there are no other gyms nearby to pick from so let's hope more come into town. With the high volume of traffic you would think they would have a larger more active cleaning staff but nope. They say it is due to the staffing shortage but the place really needs more cleaning and often. There are dust bunnies everywhere, over flowing trash cans and paper towel dispensers run out quickly. The temp is higher than comfortable based on the number of people and the activity taking place. There are many trainers working with clients and they seem really focused. It is great they are attentive to their paying customers but they don't really see or recognize the other people working out are also customers. Thus they are not friendly or pleasant or even acknowledge you exist. I have gone over to ask if I could ask a question and nope...no help. This definitely doesn't make me want to hire any of them to coach me. There are a couple who seem to be very good trainers who actively engage with their clients vs standing around gazing so do your homework if you decide to hire and pay for services. The sales safe seem to be very active in opening new memberships but less interested in keeping the members they have. I am guessing because they have the market cornered in this area. The benches and equipment are starting to show wear and need replacing as the seats have splits and cracks. The classes seem to be full and active so although I haven't taken a class it looks promising and know my husband likes the spin classes, instructors and participants. I also wish they had a community where people could get to know each other. I believe it would be wonderful to have a supportive channel but when I asked...the answer was no and their was no interest in it at all. I've gone to the gym for most of my life and know with social media there are ways for members to engage. Back in the day there were bulletin boards but here there seems like little to no interest in creating a neighborhood unity. It is a fast traffic in and out thanks for your monthly payment. I have a Planet Fitness Black card and have driven over to W Bradenton and Sarasota where I find the experience better. The Sarasota location was cooler in temp and cleaner over all. I am really hoping that as LWR continues to grow more and different options come into the area. Would be great to have a Lifetime and another Planet Fitness here. Maybe then they'd be more interested in providing good service.
