So when I finally get back there to talk to her and begin my appointment, at long last, the lady acts like she could care less and says well we have 9 minutes she said like with an attitude of total indifference. I asked if she had an appointment immediately after mine? She says "that's how I work" and her tone was still very uninterested in the fact that I just stopped everything I was doing to come down here, changed my clothes, etc.. When I went in there and put it on file, the lady told me to my face, there would be no service fee. Two days later service fee appeared. When I went in there to ask about it, the owner came out and the end was a result was he called me a meth head and asked me how many years in jail I'd serve served. Lol. Little did he know I'm a triathlete and part of a triathlon team of 150 members. This place has become really dirty inside the last three years, as well. The pool is nasty at the north, south and Valley location. All of them are dirty inside. Rarely do the elliptical or treadmill, machines work. They're always broken down.

The price is good, but for the same price and more facilities, you can go to Spokane Fitness Center or MUV. Their employees are almost always on their phone which I get, its boring, but at least be available for help. I've seen people waiting at the desk for a good 10 min while they're walking around on their phone. I eventually had to leave because I saw one of the blonde girls that wears a gallon of make up that works there doing some kind of shady deal with money outside the gym as I was leaving and she would bring her kid in and he'd run around the weights area while I'm power lifting. I'm not trying to have a kid run around me while I'm lifting. To top the experience off I went to cancel my membership, I cancelled it and they cancelled it on their end, but then restarted billing me out of nowhere a month after my membership was cancelled and the manager, Randy, wouldn't refund the $100 I got charged for those months even though it was a fault on their part when I just found out about it. Save the headache, go somewhere that's more professional and puts their gym goers first.

It's unbelievable that is what's required nowadays and how easily it is for people to get taken advantage of. 2 years ago I became pregnant and needed to cancel our membership. Have not stepped foot in hotworx since, 2 years later they are claiming we never canceled and started charging on March to my moms debit account for what is shown as the first time according to her bank so she was finally able to notice. We are not sure what other payments were involved previous to this. She was continuously charged Months of due payments for me and my husbands supposedly canceled account, also in her confusion as an also many years cancelled connected account to ours. she called and was told we did not "confirm" our cancelation. We were under one account, and they said we were individuals. Regardless we all went in and cancelled, I don't know how their end looks. if you have a similar situation, get every proof you can of cancellation for every member under the paid account. Take photos and names. We enjoyed going to this establishment, and it's sad to even have to put up this review because the way they handled the situation I have never experienced anywhere in my life. They claim that there was no written agreement of the cancelation. Even though during that time my husband and I went in to the location together knowing the need to confirm cancelation, we signed, and yet that wasn't enough. Because somehow even after signing, being told of confirmed cancelation 2 years ago, there would still be a chance that they would charge us for years of service. Here is a photo of no communication until 2 years later about some payment not coming through. I have screenshotted this round of cancellation and taken note of the name of the General Manager Sara Mentel. Hope this is enough confirmation for them, as due to their policy it is our fault for their mistake.
