Rathdrum fitness is nearly perfect as far as North Idaho gyms go. There is a piece of equipment for whatever your needs are whether that be bodybuilding, powerlifting, cardio or physical therapy. I see a number of reviews complaining about "dirty" and "old" equipment, but do not bother with these types of reviews if you are a serious gym user. Rathdrum fitness certainly has its own grungy vibe that can come off wrong to casuals who don't appreciate good gym equipment, but if you enjoy getting a pump using some hard American iron followed by a sauna/hot tub session then Rathdrum Fitness will fit your needs. read more

Absolutely worst gym to join! So dirty inside, they never clean their equipment and I found a used condom in the bathroom on the floor. You can not report anything to staff because they are too busy gossiping to help anyone. They are extremely unprofessional and treat customers like garbage. I absolutely hate this gym. they continue to add dirty used broken equipment to an already packed and unorganized room instead of just spending the money on a newer nicer set of machines. the filth is revolting and it's constantly overrun with teen boys who have no gym etiquett. I've yet to see a staff member clean or interact with members. the equipment is always broken, creaking and janky. I'll be paying to get out of my contract and also paying extra to drive to Hayden to work out. Also, 5in1 fitness in PF is $25 a month and Spotless. shame on Rathdrum fitness for taking advantage of the monopoly on the gym market. just bc there isn't any competition doesn't mean you get to be gross. read more

There's so much equipment around that you truly cannot walk through areas so while they have ADA parking and a shower, a wheelchair could never get through the equipment. The walls, speakers, and ledges are coated in so much dirt, it's disgusting. The equipment also needs cleaned. Now to the hot tub...oh my goodness it is so dirty that a health inspector truly needs to come inspection this place. There are things floating all over the hot tub, only one jet works, the floor is so dirty. Everything in that area is rusted and not kept up. The positive thing is the people who clean the restrooms and floors keep it up really well but the rest of the place is filthy, except the saunas are clean. I've been a member for a while and have just seen it go down hill so much, it's sad to see. Think I'll be looking elsewhere because other than the locker rooms, the rest of the place needs a major deep cleaning. read more

This place is great, it's exactly what I want in a gym. Nobody feels like they have to put on their make up before they go to the gym, and they should never feel that way. This is just a gym the way gyms were meant to be. Everybody just seems to feel real comfortable coming there to work out. They also offer lots of options for full or part-time members. So a quick update..... - Renewed and I am paying $100 less than I did when I first signed up. - they are expanding Waiting to see what the expansion will bring in upgraded amenities.... might be changing this place to a 5 star gym soon. read more

This gym has a lot of weights and cardio machines. It is full of equipment. The sauna and hot tub are great. The issues I have are it's not very clean. The furnace vents have layers of dirt. This can cause a lot of health issues. The mens locker room is usually clean but my wife says the women's is not. Many times the trash is overflowing, the floor is dirty, debris has been under the lockers for weeks and the saunas need wiped down. read more

They sign you up, when you have to quite they charge you $99. I moved to far away to continue going, they did not care! Stated they informed me of this! They did not! This is bullshit! I loved this gym. I live in Post Falls so its not rational to belong here. But i was on staycation so I bought a week pass so I didn't have to see people I know and I could relax. I'm a free weights girl and omg I was in love. It also however has 2 cardio rooms and i was so suprised at how new and updated the machines are I was not expecting that....plus I got to tan for 5 bucks.....price of the 90s...i dig it. There are 2 things i absolutely hated but it wasnt there fault so im not going to take away stars. 1......holy crap I am not use to feeling like the ugliest girl in the room. Apparently all the pretty people live in Rathdrum and workout in this gym. And some classes offer childcare and I couldn't believe these goddesses just had a kid.....man I have let myself go apparently the men too young and old man they looked great. And 2.....a guy was working out with sun glasses... This is a tactic used by creepy men so they can stare at you while they're working out and then claim that they're not it makes girls feel uncomfortable and honestly it should be banned so I don't know if any trainers are owners read Yelp reviews but could you put this in the policy rules for customers read more

No way to call them? They don't seem like a serious business. The # given on Yelp and their own website is for a fax machine. Who even uses a fax machine anymore? I'm not surprised the other review says the gym's never busy. Who can even contact them to find out any info. The first impression anyone is gonna get is that they're really disorganized. Worked out there yesterday, first time visiting the gym yesterday. This area has no gyms I'm from a big city where gyms are all over the place. the guy at the gym was very friendly and nice his name was bill. It is a smaller gym but for the area which is tiny it is pretty good sized. They have almost all the equipment I need as well and nice cardio machines. The gym is clean and not busy. But I've only been there once. They have tanning as well which is nice to have it all in one place. Bathroom are clean. They have a basketball court, two cardio rooms, a couple rooms that could be used for posing or stretching. read more

I am in love with this gym! I never have to wait around for people to get off the equipment bc there is so many options in this gym! The staff is friendly & willing to help! ALWAYS answers the phone! The gym is continuing to expand & offers many different things including classes and childcare (specific times)! I have left this gym for "bigger and better" gyms in the area , but always have found myself back here. I definitely recommend! read more
