Wow new ownership and a new general manager! It's amazing how changing a few key positions can have suck drastic change. From the food to the staff this place has put it back together for a truly enjoyable experience! Go somewhere else! Undercooked , greasy, and rude manager. Pizza was cold in the center cheese wasn't melted underneath and its so greasy. When I called to let the manager know he was so rude on the phone I felt it to be very unnecessary. read more

It had been awhile since we had ordered pizza from Snappy. We had a jr beast and dessert pizza delivered. The beast was decent- exactly what we are used to getting from Snappy. Not the best pizza- but if you are in the mood for a greasy, cheesy pizza it hits the spot. The dessert pizza was burned to a crisp and completely inedible. We couldn't even get our 4 year old to eat it. Complete waste of money. Also the delivery guy was 30 minutes late (45 minute wait time was actually 75 minutes). We will not be ordering anything from these guys anytime soon. read more

I usually don't review businesses, but I thought it was only fair that I reviewed Snappy's in Independence because the new owner has taken great strides to improve this business and it shows! They are very courteous, friendly and accommodating. Plus he reopened the lunch buffet! They do a great job of maintaining the buffet and making sure that there's hot fresh pizza constantly on the bar. Prior to the new owner we had stopped going up there, but now we have gone up there several times and will continue to support this business! read more

Ordered a flatbread and small pizza. When I paid the unsmiling girl dropped the change in my hand and turned her back to me. No thank you, no it will be ready...nothing. The flatbread was fine but the small pizza was so doughy in the middle we were picking the top half off. It's worth the drive to go to the Walton Snappy because their pizza is always great. I was overchargedand. When I requested an explanation, none was given. They treated me as if I were bothering them. They were not busy; I was the only customer in the store. This place is gross! I've ordered wings from this place twice both times asking for the wings to be extra crispy, both times wings were soggy and disgusting. Really not all that impressive. But not horrible. My husband is from out here and we just moved back and he suggested we try it. Mind you it's been awhile since he's had it. And it didn't live up to his hype. I would order again but I'd skip the breadsticks.... There really isn't any flavor to them. Just bland. Also the crust on the pizza has a really odd nasty taste. And I LOVE crust. Also with me being new here and my husband just getting back neither of us knew you HAD to tip when you check out. Like most pizza joints they allow you to tip in the online check out but it isn't required. Not knowing yall require that I skipped it thinking I'd could tip once the driver showed. So I felt horrible when I realized that. Might wanna point that out in check out for those of us who weren't born here (; I prefer to tip once my pizza shows so then I can determine the deserved tip. I have been going to Snappy in Independence In the last year they have gone downhill. The last 2 pizza I ordered looked like the just went off road in the back of a pick up truck. I called and complained. They said I would get a discount next time I ordered they would make note in their computer. Guess what called tonight to order and it was the 3 degree. "Who did you talk too? What was the exact date you ordered the pizza?" My home phone rang and I ask if they could hold on for 15 seconds....they hung up. Love the pizza, customer service sucks. Do not go here!!!! If I could give this no stars I would! Worst place I have ever been in my entire life. The so called manager "JOHN" is very very rude!!! I called to use an online coupon and he said it couldn't be used over the phone. Which ok that was fine. However JOHN's attitude towards me was very rude and it was uncalled for the way he was acting. I have never experienced this bad of customer service before. I called back to get the supervisors number to report how he was acting to then be informed that he was the supervisor. He gave me more attitude and continued to give me attitude for 10+ minutes. I ordered some wings and a calzone for home delivery. They both arrived cold. The calzone was not bad I would probably rate it a 3 out of 5. The wings on the other hand were not the ones I ordered. I called back and was told they would not fix my order but would call back the next day to remedy the situation. I never received a call so called and left a message for the owner to call. Six days later and have yet to receive a call back. This company definitely has no customer service skills. Their food is sub par. Save yourself and call another pizza place. We showed up at 12:55 for the buffet which ends at 1:30. We were told, "I'm not gonna lie but the 3 pizza's on the bar aren't any good cuz they've been sitting there awhile but I'm not allowed to make anything new until those are gone." I asked if she expected us to eat the old and cold pizza to which she said, "Yes, I'm sorry but my manager 'John' won't let us make new pizza til those are gone and he watches the camera's daily and I'd get in trouble!" We insisted new pizza be made but she had to call for permission from "John". After many questions she was given the ok to make new. We ordered and started to get our drinks only to find the drink machine wasn't working properly. The pizza deliverer said he'd change it out but "forgot" and went on a delivery instead. Here we sat with no drinks. In the meantime I asked for salads until the pizza was made, I had to ask 3 times for this. By 1:40 the pizza deliverer was back and I had to request again for the machine to be fixed but he was unable to fix it due to a "pump". He couldn't authorize us to have a bottled drink w/out "John's" permission so he had to place another call to allow us to get bottled drinks in place of the fountain drinks we'd yet to receive. By 2:10 we received the pizza's on the bar that we'd been waiting for since 1:05, as this was the actual "first" call placed to "John" to get permission for the new pizza's to be made. I might add that also at 2:10, the workers told me they needed to CHARGE me an additional amount for the bottled drinks we got in place of the fountain drinks we didn't get!!
