I checked in at the kiosk as usual and then I sat down thinking nothing unusual, but after 20 minutes of seeing people come in after me and leaving while I was sitting there waiting, I went up to the same lady I spoke to when I arrived, and after I asked why I wasn't being seen, the lady just asked me my name and said I was next. So I finally got seen at 11:04am, and I'm in a bad mood. Luckily I had Sarah, and she was super nice and understanding after I told her I was sitting in the lobby for over 20 minutes. After the quick procedure, I checked out with the lady at the front desk and I asked her what happened to cause me to wait so long and she said "sorry about that" and that I wasn't checked in. Really? Why does this place even have a kiosk? This was my second time here. My first time was a lot better, with friendlier staff and a much more efficient experience. This second visit was weird. Painfully long wait and not very friendly front staff, like they were just herding people in and out like sheep.

I decided to try again and saw Jackie. The difference in a couple months was really great! She listened to my concerns about harsh treatments and how I didn't have luck with tretinoin in the past. She noticed that I had multiple issues that needed to be resolved so she put me on a treatment plan. As I progressed I was able to phase out prescriptions once they were solved. My skin concerns of course were not solved overnight but I was happy to have someone who was able to guide me every step of the way. She listened to all my concerns and is an absolute pleasure to see. I've only seen Jackie so I can't speak for the other doctors. All the nurses I've dealt with have been helpful and professional. I will say I've never had the issues others have had in their reviews. Front desk is like any other medical front desk. Kind of cold but they get my appointments scheduled and send documents quickly. The wait times can be long so I like scheduling end of day. Parking is also not easy during the day but clears up later. Overall I highly recommend Jackie but give yourself time for parking/ wait times.

Approximately 15 minutes prior to my treatment appointment, I receive a phone call from them that my provider never made it back from her holiday travel. I absolutely understand that many things with travel are out of one's control, but unless her flight was a red eye and she was supposed to get back that morning, there was plenty of notice she had to know she wasn't going to make it back for our appointment. This was a more in depth laser with a week of downtime, that I had scheduled my entire holiday around. Obviously it's disappointing to miss out on something I had planned for months in advance, but the lack of communication or even attempt to make it right just speaks to the other reviews that echo lots of pain with the management of this office. I stumbled upon Regenerate skin and decided to call and ask about the treatment. The lady who answered the phone was super nice. If she didn't know the answer to a question, she would text the aesthetician and give me an answer shortly after. All the appointments they had available were in the afternoon and I let them know that I unfortunately worked and was looking for something in the morning. They were able to accommodate easily and said that there was no problem, they could have one of their aestheticians come in a little earlier to help me. My appointment was at 11:30AM. I also made it very clear that I wanted a consultation before the actual treatment. I wanted to make sure that the treatment would not have any negative effects on my skin. I did do a bunch of research and have been told by another dermatologist that this treatment would be good for my skin, but I wanted to make sure. Parking is a little tricky since you have to enter a parking structure and the spaces are very compact. It's inside like a plaza/mall and the name isn't Regenerate. I recognized the inside from Yelp pictures, if it weren't for that I would have walked right past it. I stood for about five to ten minutes before I was helped. One person handed me papers and someone else handed me more papers. Some of them were for the aesthetician to make an assessment on my skin...meaning that she should have been asking me questions and been filling them out. Ex. "Does patient present hyperpigmentation?" You would expect for the aesthetician to take a closer look to see if it is hyperpigmentation or possibly something else. I filled out the forms to the best of my ability and I was taken to the back. I waited another 15 minutes as the aesthetician tried to figure out how to lower the chair. I still somehow went through with the treatment. There was no hospitality or anything from the person doing the treatment. She started without the consultation and just put the machine on my shoulder. She asked if it hurt. I was taken completely by surprise since I was not expecting it. It did not hurt so she continued and it was completely quiet for the hour or so the treatment took. When we were finished, the aesthetician made a face and said that I would definitely need more treatments since one would not work. As I went to pay, I asked to use to the check in offer on yelp, but the person at the front desk was confused. She called two people and said she was not aware of anything at all. They ended up giving me the discount and my total came out to $120. The treatment did help lighten my dark spots, but I did not have the best experience here. The lady who answered the phone was definitely nice, but after that the quality just seemed to deteriorate. I would not come again.
