My first experience, my physician ordered a CT scan and the earliest appointment was in 3 weeks. A couple of days before the scheduled appointment, I received a call stating that the wrong CT had been scheduled so I would have to re-schedule another 3 weeks in the future. I canceled and went elsewhere. The second experience, my physician ordered a MRI of the head and neck. The earliest time slot they had was in 2.5 weeks. So I show up to the appointment, go through the check in process, I finally get taken back towards the MRI, answer a few more questions before the young lady asks, "so you're getting a MRI of your head?". No, I retort, it's of my head and neck. She replied, "yes your doctor ordered an MRI of your head and neck but you were only scheduled for the head part tonight". WHAT!!!!! I was livid. It took every morsel of my being to restrain myself. I'll be getting the MRI of both head and neck done at the other place where I previously ended up, because they seem to operate with a basic level of common sense.

The nurses and technicians were thoughtful and professional. The experience was pain-free. The facility was clean. I recommend checking-in online to avoid any delays at the admittance windows (which also was quick and efficient). This was the second set of scans I've had at MIoF and both were equally positive. I am grateful for the care I received.

I took my husband to the King George location this morning. She said snidely, "He can wait in the car." Seriously?????? After waiting 30minutes I went back to her and asked nicely how much longer the wait would be. She told me an hour and a half. Meanwhile, SEVERAL people had been taken in ahead of us. I told her again that my husband is running a fever, etc., and she said, "There's nothing I can do about the wait time." She empathetically listened to my complaints, checked my breathing and subscribed antibiotics. Upon leaving I asked how much it would cost and they said because I have insurance and Medicare there would be no charge. This was my first time using any kind of medical service after qualifying for Medicare so I was pleasantly surprised. I started getting better but pushed myself too soon and too hard and the infection came back as the antibiotics were ending. So I went back to the clinic (as a walk in) and again I didn't have to wait long, again saw Margaret Dean, and got different antibiotics. Again, no charge. This time I took it easy and am now healthy. So based on my experience I recommend this place. It was fast and easy with no billing issues. Everyone was nice and professional.

I still had to give them a credit card to pay the bill that I already paid or they were not going to draw my blood. They made me feel like I was lieing which I was not. Now when the check clears, Quest is going to owe me a refund. The whole thing was very disturbing!!
