Adam, Jessica and George got us out of bind in this last storm. The County stopped plowing and was no where to be found. After being without power for a few days, we needed to get home. Adam's team plowed the road in Big Tress Village all the way down to HW4 so we could follow and get out. Without them, we would have been struck for several more days. I can't give a high enough rating for this small family run business, 5+ stars. This is our third year with an annual contract for their plow service. Our driveway is fairly steep and they do an exceptional job keeping it cleared and moving enough snow to provide us with plenty of parking. Big storms don't present a problem for them as they have enough machines and drivers to keep ahead of Mother Nature. Our driver John has no problem opening up the bottom of the driveway a little extra or opening the parking areas a little wider when we ask him to, great guy! Within one year, Snider's increased their annual contract rates from Winter 2021 to 2022 by an appalling 39%, claiming that this one-year increase is necessary due to fuel costs. No letter of explanation or apology to her local customers who pay their contracts months in advance of the season, whether snow falls or not. We thought we could go without snow removal at our home in Big Tree Village, we thought buying an expensive snow blower would be the smartest move. We were sooooo wrong!!! I can't say enough good things about Snider's. I could sing praises from the mountain tops about the wonderful customer service, reasonable price and piece of mind they have provided. When we first moved up to Big Trees we contracted with them to do snow removal. Once the snow melted we realized that our backyard was a bit of a jungle. We started doing some clearing but it didn't take long to realize it would take us years to completely clear our large double lot by ourselves. It had never been done according to our neighbors but we felt it was a fire hazard and time to make it happen. We contacted Adam to come out and take a look and give us an estimate. Once it was determined he was going to clear the entire area we were full steam ahead! Adam spent several days with his magic mulcher and did a fine job. These guys saved me after the recent storm. The berm from plows pushing snow off the street was 6 feet high at my driveway entrance and hovered around 4 feet high through the length of my long driveway.
