The owner, Shannon, was very responsive at first. When I told her where I lived, she started backtracking and listing reasons why her employees wouldn't be able to reach my apartment. She then told me she couldn't even refer another sitting service. I've had cat sitters before. Interacting with Shannon was the strangest, most frustrating conversation I've ever had. She clearly did not want to take me or my cats on as a client for reasons unbeknownst to me. I was able to find a cat sitter through another service, thankfully. I cannot recommend C-Pup.

I want you to know this so that when I write, "I trust Family Tails Pet Sitters without reservation," you'll understand how big that is. I worked with Family Tails for about five years and couldn't have been happier. I wish I could have brought them with me when I relocated. They provided weekday walks, overnights, occasional weekend walks, whatever I needed. If you're lucky enough to work with Wilson, I envy you. He became the second dad my dogs never had. You won't be surprised that my three guys eat different kibble, get different treats, and have daily meds. And they're no joy to manage on a walk in good weather - bad weather is as bad as you're imagining. Wilson handled all of this without a single complaint. In fact, people in my neighborhood would occasional comment on how great he was with my guys (and how much better they behaved for him than for me). I started off just needing a walk here or a walk there. Pretty soon, though, I was using them multiple times a week because they were so good. I bet you'll have a similar experience.

We made the right decision. The folks at Family Tails were amazing. When we got back we had notes of what happened on every visit and how the kitties were doing. Our cats were so happy and in good spirits, which is not at all how they usually are when we have gone out of town in the past. You can tell that they really care about these animals, and they get to know their personalities and likes and dislikes. I would love to use Family Tails for any of my future pet sitting needs, but unfortunately I moved across the country and they don't make house visits in Seattle. :( I can easily recommend them to anyone.

After investigating all my dog walking options, I decided to stay with the Brookland outlet of Saving Grace because I had such a good experience with my former location, they came highly recommended by some friends in the new 'hood, and the owners are sons of a former teacher of my children. Basically, I'm loyal and it's all about relationships. I have not been disappointed! Patrick and Adam have been great with my 2 dogs who have different needs. One is an active rescue mutt who loves a good long walk, and the other is an English Bulldog 1+ yr old puppy with lots of energy but not a lot of walking stamina who just recently had ACL and meniscus surgery! Saving Grace Brookland has been responsive, accommodating, flexible, and helpful in adjusting to our various needs over the past 9 months since we started with them. They are responsive to emails, and leave a daily update about their visit in a notebook at my house. Overall great, can't say enough nice things! Glad they are in the neighborhood for my doggos!
