He has lots of anxiety and gets depressed whenever we have to leave him for extended periods. The first time we used this service, we left him with my brother and went on a trip out of state. Normally, he doesn't eat or poop when we leave him like this for a few days. However, he absolutely loved his walks with Ashley and my brother told us he ate and had a regular bathroom schedule! We got daily reports from Ashley and pictures with detailed information on if she gave him treats and his activities/pace during the walk. It was heartwarming to see our little guy being cared for while we were away. Because this was so great, we used the service again when I had to travel out of town. My husband was home but had to work really long hours so we had Marsha take Rockie for his afternoon/evening walks. Again, we got detailed reports and our little guy was very happy (evidenced by his regular eating and bathroom schedule). He loves his dogs and the ones he, and by extension Dog Gone Walking, takes care of and you can really tell. At the end of each service you get a pet journal, where the walker or sitter gives a little report of what your pet was up to or accomplished, as well as a photo and - I won't lie - they're the highlight of my day.
