The nail tech is in the back of the salon, and surprisingly for a Friday there was no one there getting hair done. Ended up here on a recommendation, and with it being close it was super convenient. Overall I prob would decide on this salon for a few reasons. In the entry there was a cute sign for the pricing for nail, but it had few prices. I am all about transparency and understanding what you're getting for the money spent. There was nothing that differentiated the express pedicure from the regular pedicure. And while it seems simple enough to just ask, there was a language barrier. In the nail section there was also a price list, but nothing on how much a full set was, or that additional colors or designs were more. While all increases are fair, it would have been nice to know pricing ahead of time. There was a nice selection of colors available and the demeanor of the nail tech was nice enough, there was very little conversation, which could be because we were new... While my daughter was pleased enough with her nails and toes my review is based on their being no there was no communication regarding the difference in services for a mini-pedicure versus a full pedicure. When it took less than 30 minutes to complete, I was prompted to ask about the service. There was also no full set pricing at all, which almost made me feel like the price could be dependent on the person... while I don't think that was the case trransparency goes a long way.

This boutique is full of little shops with people doing everything from nails to hair extensions to massages, to hair coloring and cuts etc..! Because it is in a plaza, there is plenty of parking. The inside is beautiful! You can see that the owner has put a lot of time into decorating and caring for this new business. Ever that I have been to Bixell's to get my hair done, the owner has stopped by! You can tell that everyone who has a shop inside this boutique loves the owner. That tells you a lot about how this place is run. So I would definitely recommend checking this place out! Of course I have to give a shout out to Jake Bixell because he is fabulous. But there are a lot of different shops with a lot of different talented people that work there. It is such a clean, nicely put together place that I think everyone would feel comfortable and happy coming here. Give it a try!

I was excited to see that Lin was back as well. Everyone in the salon has done my nails at one point or another and I've never been disappointed. I now go to May on a regular basis and she is fabulous! She is very meticulous, sweet and takes her time. I suggest you make an appointment, because they are always busy.
