I understand this sometimes happens with piercings, surface especially, but I would have expected a bit more expertise from someone who has been doing body piercings as long as Troy has. He pierced my horizontal eyebrow which is supposed to be pierced with a surface bar with a straight barbel. I later went to get my piercing bar downsized and he used a curved barbel. Afterwards I asked for my money back,, and obviously the money back ($80) he held for the next session. Of which I think he. Would have easily given me back to help with my lasering. But he denied this, stating that what I signed was a legally binding contract. What that clearly means, is if he messed up, you still have to pay him. Rest assured, my lawyer will be on top of this. The problem really lies in the fact that 3 years later, it's still not healed. And yes, I followed the piercer's instructions. 2 years in, I called them thinking maybe I'm allergic to the metal in the jewelry. I've heard that can cause piercings to not heal, and I purchased the jewelry from them. I didn't expect them to fix anything, I just wanted the details so that I could find different jewelry. He measures where the piercings should go before he marks them and then triple-checks that the placement is correct before asking the client how they feel about the placement. He's quick and efficient, yet very calm and patient. The quality and variety of jewelry he has in stock is amazing as well as the aftercare products he provides. John makes sure to go over all aftercare procedures for each piercing as well as gives a small bit of sea salt for cleaning.
