Find a different salon for your child! Drove over half an hour away to get my daughter her first hair cut. Only to get there and find out they deleted the appointment. Didn't offer for someone else to get it done today. Didn't offer for a discount to come back another day. The only thing they offered was to reschedule. Thanks for nothing Snips and Giggles. Had our daughter's first haircut here by purchasing the first haircut package, which includes a locket of hair, their picture of the first haircut on a special certificate. As a new parent and excited for her first haircut, I was disappointed and had higher expectations. Unfortunately, her haircut turned out like a boys cut and their camera printer was broken, but they refused to provide a discount when I asked. Overall, okay, but poor customer service/satisfaction in that regard. They could have said something about the printer when we checked in. Thank goodness I took a ton of my own pictures! The haircut finally grew out and she is beautiful no matter her haircut mishap! read more

first time bringing my child to this salon, & left feeling like we were a bother & were treated like we didn't belong there. Receptionist wasn't behind the desk when we arrived, which is no problem, but none of the staff who made eye contact with us said any sort of greeting to let us know someone would be with us. When the receptionist eventually walked up to the front, I didn't even know it was her, as she walked passed me without any smile or greeting. When she walked behind the counter, all she said was "who do you have?". any follow up questions she had that I responded to (I.e first haircut? phone? etc) she sounded very annoyed with me. I cannot say enough positive about Snips and Giggles. They helped me out with my "Mom-Fail" of not scheduling cuts for school pictures by squeezing in all 3 kids at the last minute. The cuts were great and it is a fun and welcoming environment for the kids! read more

I went into the salon and specifically asked if they were experienced with mix childrens hair. I advised them that her hair was extremely tight curls. They assured me that they would have no problem with her hair. I made the appt and arrived. The customer service was top notched and the place looked fabulous. I asked for 8 " of wet hair to be removed. That is totally different then 8" dry hair for her. The woman washed her hair and was very good with my child. She then grabbed her hair and cut around 8" off without even looking. Then she continued to cut but I do not believe she stretched the hair at all. I washed my child's hair tonight and almost cried. It is a total mess and looks crappy. I am so very disappointed. It has no evenness to it at all. Some places are still including the 8". OMG I want to cry. read more

My 5 yr old son HATES getting his hair cut. (Insert scene from a sitcom with child screaming uncontrollable needing restraint) but he LOVED Sarah and her shop! Not one single tear or even a single request for her to stop. Adorable shop with things to entertain the kids. It is honestly THE BEST hair cut he has ever had! I highly recommend this new salon in Oconomowoc. I won't go anywhere else here on out. read more

Everyone is really nice and friendly. The entire place is very clean and cute. I took my soon for his first haircut he is 11 months. He has long hair with beautiful curls. I asked the stylist for a trim and to try and keep the curls. She took so much hair off and it is so short. There are no curls left. read more

They make my kids feel comfortable and listen to their hair cut requests, which are always surprisingly specific. We have been going here for 3 years and have never been disappointed. read more

i took my 6 yr old to get her ears pierced and a mini manicure. The people were nice and it was clean and I will say did a great job on the ear piercing part...the mini manicure not so much, I could have done a better job at home. For $10 you get a 30second finger tip soak and nail polish.....no filing or buffing or anything. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I will be paying more somewhere else so my daughter can have a much better experience. read more

The concept for kids is great but that's where the praise ends. The stylist was very stoic and not friendly at all! And the cut was terrible!! My daughters bangs were uneven and she didn't do layers even though I asked. This is the 2nd time I've been there and both times were a huge disappointment. Won't be going back. read more
