Plenty colorful, lots of toys to play with before or after the haircut, tvs playing cartoons, and even fun themed capes they cover the kids with during their cut. Shelly was super sweet and did a great job on my son's hair. The whole session didn't last more than 10 minutes. My son did surprisingly well - largely distracted by Mickey Mouse on the tv - and it wasn't until the end until he shed a few tears. Shelly was so friendly and patient, keeping him as comfortable as possible. Prices are reasonable, service is sweet, and the outcome looked great. I'm sure we'll be back.

I remember Jacci called me because I had been waiting for the new shop to open and I need a hair cut desperately. The guys working inside told her that a "big dark haired guy" was spying between the paper covered windows, I guess she told them "Oh that's only Greg, he must need a haircut". So Jacci offered to cut my hair (even though the shop was not open) and with that I became Jacci's first customer in her new shop, unofficially of course. Well her we are 2012 and Jacci is still cutting my hair and when it came time for my 2 year old daughter's first hair cut there was no place else to go. And as of lately the front desk has been way better at answering calls, or getting back to voicemails. It is a school with learning students, but by no means are you really a guinea pig. Theres always an experienced professional second opinion, and supervision. Services do take a little bit longer so if you're in a rush, or impatient this ain't the place for you. But if you like being submerged and also appreciate learning things along the way about your hair, you can tell the students are happy to answer with what they know. The price point is so affordable, and you leave feeling pampered because each service comes with a wash and blow dry/style. It's also conveniently located near a shopping strip, which includes places like TJ-Maxx, Old navy, Nordstrom Rack, j-crew and Whole Foods. Kaylee seems very confident and knowledgeable in coloring, and also has such a positive attitude. It's relatively a busy space, mixed crowd.

It wasn't always clear how the process worked, and communication from the front desk to customers could have been better. They also mentioned free Wi-Fi, but no one knows the password! My cut took about an hour and 30 minutes, which is longer than expected for something so simple. However, since this is a training school, students need to pause for instructors to check their work, which explains the pace. In the end, only about an inch was trimmed off, and my hair looked the same. I saw there were very little hair on the floor. It was a ln ok experience for $15, but not something I'd likely do again.

Even after I call upset no one answered or returned my call but argued with me over messenger that what I wanted requires years of schooling/experience and Special techniques that weren't included in my promotion. All I asked was that they don't start the layers on the top layer of hair but they could be started on the next layer (they could touch the root of the hair in every other layer, I just didn't want the strip look on the top of my head) so far everyone I spoke with was extremely difficult to deal with. This was over all a very frustrating situation! I wish I would have read the reviews before I scheduled this appointment because I would have never booked an appointment!
