Power steering went out shortly after that and I haven't driving the car for two months. Took it to a trusted mechanic shop to diagnose again LAST WEEK and they confirmed it's the transmission that needs to be inspected by a transmission shop. I'll remove this review if the transmission shop confirms it's the ecu as well that needs to be replaced. (Response to owner) There's no issue I was waiting to confirm if the diagnoses given to me was correct to right my review. Forgive me for not remembering it was 125 exactly but , $125 for what auto zone does for free was my issue . I was expecting a real diagnosis by a mechanic to pin point the issue with accuracy and given a game plan not a simple computer diagnostic test that was for a code I already knew it had.

When he finally got started, He went under the car and an hr later tells us it's going to take more time to replace the part and that he scheduled other appointments so he would come back the next morning to complete the job. We even let that slide. The mechanic never showed up the next day. I even sent a text. He responded that he would call but there was nothing. I wasted time trying to work with this company. Had I have known I could have gotten someone that was willing to do the work. I would never refer or attempt to use them again.

Not like other places that try and rush you in and out while making you feel like a number, or even try to pick your brain to see what they can try to get out of you. Extremely professional, clean and quick. Will definitely be returning for future oil changes! Thanks again for your help guys!!!

I brought my car to Kwik Kar because I was having an issue with the radiator. I was quoted $75 for…read morelabor and $181 for the replacement part. I was also told the part was unavailable at the nearby AutoZone (less than a mile away) and that it would take about 30 minutes for one to be delivered. More than an hour later, the part still hadn't arrived, so I decided to look it up myself. The most expensive version I found online was around $75. I asked the mechanic for the exact name of the part so I could verify it, but he couldn't even locate it in his system at first. After several minutes, he finally found it and said, "Looks like I got the last one." Still concerned, I called the AutoZone less than a mile away. They immediately told me they had the part in stock for $63.99. When the AutoZone driver eventually arrived at the shop, another employee accidentally handed me the receipt, which showed Kwik Kar had paid $75.20 for the part--not the $181 I had been quoted. I asked the mechanic why I had been quoted more than double the actual cost. His response was, "We have to make a profit." I understand businesses mark up parts, but charging well over 100% without any explanation felt excessive. When I asked him to show me where the quoted price came from, he couldn't. The manager then came outside and asked what I wanted. I simply said I wanted a fair price for the part. Instead of addressing my concern, he told me the mechanic no longer wanted to work on my vehicle. I asked them to put my car back together so I could leave. Thankfully, I inspected it before driving away. The mechanic had broken a piece off the radiator reservoir and left a hose disconnected. After I pointed it out, another mechanic repaired it, explained what had happened, and made sure everything was properly reconnected. I left, purchased the same part myself for $65, and had it installed elsewhere for $125. My total cost was only about $10 more than Kwik Kar wanted to charge for the part alone. My issue wasn't paying a reasonable markup--it was being quoted an inflated price, receiving inaccurate information about part availability, and then finding my vehicle damaged when I decided not to move forward. My interaction with them prompted another customer to ask questions about her parts and services. She said her inflated price cost her an extra $800! Unfortunately, they completed the work. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.
