He told me to bring my own engine flush because they didn't sell the flush there. So I come in for my engine flus and oil change and I'm there just 15 min. before shop opened and there was "E" about to open the store..O he already has a attitude about working on Saturday. I say how are this morning good man..he replied I was ok till I seen you in that dam Caddilac...um like what did I do to deserve that bro. He then says I ain't even trying to be here for nobody today. So after waiting 15 more min for him to get his day started he pulls in my vehicle and starts the oil change as I told him before I would bring my own bottle of engine flush that I did leave on the drivers seat so that he wouldn't miss seeing it. I wait another 45 min as he and a few other workers clown around and drag their feet ..then finally I get my car pulled out of the garage and "E" tells me I'm all done..I say did you put the engine flush in the motor before changing the oil? He replies yes I did. So I pay for my service and paid extra for the flush..then when I get a mile down the road I noticed my engine light came on and I began to smell oil so I pulled over and lifted my hood only to find my oil cap on to of my radiator so I put the oil cap back on the valve cover where it belonged. When I get back in my vehicle I noticed the from under my seat slid the bottle of engine flush that I asked "E" to use during the required service I paid him for. Hmmm so I then check my oil and I pull my dip stick only to find out that my oil was dirty and was a quart lower than when I first pulled into the shop. I must say totally confused and furious to learn that not only did they change my oil nor flush the engine, But somewhere down the line I lost a whole quart of oil ! No I have been going to Lancaster tire and auto for no I have been going to Lancastor tire and oil for several years but at that point several years, But to have this happen who is truly all unacceptable..I then went down the street to Kwick Kar & Lube On Pleasant Run across fro Jack in the Box and have been going there every since.

I used to love and rave about this place--I brought three or more cars here to get service. But after my recent experiences, I'll have to find another shop. I've been dealing with the same issue for 2-3 months, yet they kept "finding" other areas to fix instead of addressing the actual problem. The phone representative has been completely disrespectful the last two days. I had my throttle bodies replaced, only to find out later that the wrong parts were installed. After going back and forth with Speedy's, paying for tows and Ubers just to get around, I finally had my car towed to the dealership on June 3rd. The dealership confirmed that Speedy's installed the incorrect part, which ended up costing me around $250. When I called the warranty company, they told me that Speedy's reported having used the correct part. I called Speedy's to follow up on June 6th, and the representative immediately got an attitude, saying, "I can fix the cable to prove a point." I explained that the dealership had already fixed a loose cable but the bigger issue was the incorrect parts. He claimed he had already ordered and received the correct parts and was ready to install them. However, when I called again on Monday, June 9th for an update, I was told they were still waiting on parts. When I brought up his earlier statement, he started yelling at me. I asked him to stop yelling, and he hung up on me. I will not work with a shop that treats the customers like this. I will be following up with legal actions. If I could use my warranty at a different shop, I would--but because of their mistake, I either have to continue dealing with them or pay out of pocket. I'm totally dissatisfied and disappointed in how far this shop has declined.

I filed the complaint on June 12, 2026, and followed up repeatedly. An area manager eventually emailed me, and I provided a detailed written timeline explaining what happened, why I had lost confidence in the Galloway Avenue location, and why I was requesting a refund. Since sending that response, I have not received a substantive decision, status update, or further communication addressing my concerns. My primary complaint is now the administrative handling of the matter. Customers should not have to repeatedly pursue a large company for basic communication after reporting a serious service problem. Even when a company disagrees with a refund request, management should acknowledge the documentation, explain its decision, and provide a clear resolution. The continued lack of follow-up gives the impression that Firestone's complaint process is designed to delay rather than resolve legitimate customer concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Galloway location, and I have serious concerns about Firestone's regional management and customer-service accountability.
