Sno Biz has been open for over 30 years now. I have only been there a few times. It's in an old area of O'Fallon that was old 30 years ago! Sno Biz makes the best shaved ice in StL. I recall there were something like 150 flavors... literally that many, or close to it... in the 1990s. There are fewer flavors now, but 150 was probably overkill. I think I had black cherry, pink lemonade, and... I don't remember my third flavor. (I like to flavor max.) It's still not as finely shaved as Hawaiian shave ice, but it's as good as you can get in this part of the country. read more

My boyfriend introduced me to shaved ice about a year ago, and he was finally able to introduce me to one of his favorites. This location is tucked way back in a parking lot, but has a small deck that I hadn't seen on other shaved ice locations! They have tons of flavor options and combinations on their menu. Many even have toppings such as marshmallow, cream sauce, chocolate, and caramel. Within our group we had strawberry margarita, key lime pie, black cherry, and doctor sno. I had the margarita flavor, and it was good, very similar to a strawberry lemonade. I also tasted the Dr. Sno, which is their version of Dr. Pepper. Definitely a great summer treat, and tons of flavors so you can try something new every visit. Be prepared - they only take cash! The only thing that would have made this visit better for me is having a menu that describes all their combinations! read more

Seriously impressed with the selection. So many flavors and combinations! Was very excited to see they offer so many sugar-free flavors (sweetened with Equal) - feeling like this is a much better option than ice cream or froyo for the kidlet (um, and maybe her parents) given the SF selections. Lines can get long, we hear, but we walked right up today with no line. (Granted, it was 104 degrees. No one should have been outside, including us.) There is a deck attached that provides a few benches and some shade, but that's it for seating options, and the place is located in a strip mall parking lot. Staff was super friendly and very patient as we waded through all of their options to make our selection. I can see why lines get long - there is SO much to choose from. The preparation of our order once we placed it took less than two minutes for all three of us. Very quick. Oh, PS, they're cash only! read more

I have loved sno biz since high school and they have not changed much since then. They really are elite in the shaved ice department. They have yummy favors and are pretty cheap. I am not sure prices have really gone up there. A small is 1.75 and really a small is plenty. They have a printed menu where they have labeled and named lots of flavor combinations. My summer goal once in high school was to try and rate the entire menu. I forgot this when I went tonight but THEY ONLY TAKE CASH and there isn't any seating except on the porch which can get pretty crowded. But for cheap summer dessert this is the place to go. read more

I always look forward to summer so I can visit Sno Biz! The drive for me is about 40 minutes round trip from my home, but we will always visit if we can get some of their delicious snow cones! They have a ton of flavors...I think one of their best is Island Breeze...a mix of Blue Raspberry and Lime. But, you can get anything your heart desires here, including interesting mixes with caramel or cream on top. Best snow cone stand I have been to hands down. None of that rough ice, always smooth and flavorful. I really loved last year when my son came up with a few snow cone flavors. There was this nice young man who worked there who took his selections and had the staff pick one. One of his creations, "Dead Pool" was featured that summer. It made my son so happy when we came up to see his snow cone flavor on the window and hear people order it. The owners are nice as well! read more

This is the place to be for a tasty cool treat on a hot day! There are SO MANY flavors to choose from, and every single one of them I've tried has been good. The prices are very reasonable. I've been here multiple times in the past and it's been great but I just went there and had to ask twice for more juice because I paid for ice basically. Even the girl that ordered before me had to ask for more juice. Me and my gf both had too. It was good once enough juice was on the ice tho. read more
