Fruity Pebbles and French Toast Bingsu
    Chloe L.

Stopped by right before the crowd rolled in, and both bingsu were ready in about 10 minutes. As someone trying bingsu for the first time, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. The ice was soft, fluffy, and almost melt-in-your-mouth, while the cereal toppings added a fun crunch. The portions are huge and easily shareable. Overall, a refreshing dessert and a great first bingsu experience.

I love the comfy, but fun atmosphere of this place! You can order on a kiosk, but also order with a worker I believe. It can get very busy during peak hours, so be patient with the staff! We tried the Regular sized Caramel Biscoff bingsu (shaved ice) and it was the perfect amount for 2 people sharing. Their items always hit the right spot! I loved the taste of the Biscoff cookie crumble on top and the condensed milk is an excellent topping. It was delicious, and I can't wait to go back to try more of their menu options soon. Thanks!

I love bingsu and this place is pretty good. While the wait can sometimes be a bit long, especially during prime dessert hours, it's always worth it for me. I usually get the oreo, and always wish I had two. While I've never eaten inside the cafe itself, it always seems very nice and clean when I go to pick it up, and I never mind waiting inside when it's busy. Overall, great place for a nice, cold dessert.

I happened to stop in here as I was leaving the DMV and it was a nice, clean shop with reasonable prices. It's not the best milk tea I've had and came with unflavored boba but it was good. I like how I could order from the kiosk. The barista was very pleasant so I wouldn't mind going back if in the area.

Spoonful is a trendy and great place if you are looking to get delicious Korean shaved ice. They also have great bubble tea and other desserts. The staff is very friendly and the work hard to handcraft each dish which may cause a bit of delay in getting your food, it is well worth the wait.

A wonderful place! The boba tea was delicious and the Taiyaki was VERY tasty. I'd never had it before and was impressed. Not overly sweet, with just the right amount of flavoring. They have other things I've never heard of before that I'll definitely be back to try. Service was a little slow, but worth the wait. Cute place for being in a strip mall. Prices were okay.

Went earlier in the day so it was quieter in the cafe. Super clean and the workers were SO nice! The bingsu was really refreshing (probably also because it's been extremely hot out) and the fruit was really fresh too! We got a small bingsu and it was still a lot for two of us. Tons of drink options; we got a coffee (quite strong) and a tea!

Went here since I was in the west county area and wanting a little treat. Ordered the tiramisu bingsu. It was amazing! There have a decent sized menu so it was hard to decide what to get but definitely enjoyed my pick! Service was quick and timely. I was greeted right as I walked in the door. Restaurant is located by a few other restaurants and businesses and has ample parking. It was clean and modern inside. Def a must try and I will def go back next time I am in the area

Great spot!!! The sweet red bean taiyaki, the matcha boba, and the tiramisu bingsu are all phenomenal. So many flavor options for each. Super cute shop with a good amount of seating so you can stay and enjoy. Fair prices and good portion sizes.

    Nutella Taiyaki

2nd here and once again excellent service, food and drink items. The Nutella taiyaki was warm, sweet and had a perfect amount of Nutella. The apple cinnamon taiyaki was a little too sweet 'for me' but very good. The place was packed out tonight, Sunday at 7:00 but we had our drinks and food within 10 mins.

I recently took a summer road trip with the family up to St. Louis, where our extended family live. We usually do an annual trip and I've never really experienced great Asian foods, but this trip was very different. I really enjoyed my Spoonful experience! The inside is very cutely decorated for the gram, which I wouldn't have guessed based off the location in the strip mall. They have a cute photo wall and it was very crowded, which tells me the bingsu is on point, which indeed it was. I got the individual sized mango bingsu, which if I recall correctly, their individual size is only available during the week. Every bite was flavorful and tasty. I would definitely come back and try some of their other flavors on our next family vacation!

I have been to spoonful several times in the last two years. In the past I had their bingsu and I did tried quite a few of their many flavors. Out of all the flavors I have tried. I like the mango bingsu the most, not overly sweet at all. The taiyaki in the past only had two flavors. I did tried the red bean and Nutella, today I saw that they also added the apple cinnamon flavor. Today since I was already full from eating Korean food at the next door restaurant , me and my friend decided to just get bubble tea. Their price on bubble tea is fair. I got the whipped dalgona today and my friend got their tiger sugar. The level of sweetness that I get is seventy five percent here since I like sweet, fifty percent is perfect for my friend since she doesn't like her drink as sweet. The bubble tea is not something I would go here to get if I am not in the area since I had better. However for the bingsu, I will.

One word: Bingsu! And Taiyaki?!! Yes! Amazing! And the service is quick! Super clean and cute location. Can't wait for it to be franchised!

I thought it was mid. The boba was good but the boba tea was very mild. The bingsu was very underwhelming.

As soon as I walked in, there was a one-man band playing guitar, freshly prepared food by the counter, and shelves filled with bakery items--it had such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly. I decided to order some lumpia to go, and while they were preparing it, I took some time to browse the bakery and market section. I ended up grabbing several bag of chips and a slice of cake as well. The lumpia were perfectly crispy with great flavor, and the cake was incredibly moist. I know it's hard to compare restaurant food to home-cooked meals, and I wasn't expecting to be wowed. "Mid" would've been fine, but unfortunately, this fell below that for us. We ordered the menudo, chicken adobo, bangus, and lechon. Both the menudo and chicken adobo were noticeably sweet and not in a subtle way. The bangus only came as half with the combo (I'm not sure if that's standard), which was a bit disappointing since I'm used to getting a whole bangus. The lechon had a slightly off taste possibly from the oil used. I ended up cutting it up and putting it in the air fryer, which helped a bit, especially with Mang Tomas. My kids were excited for the ube bread, but there was barely any ube. Thankfully, I had ube jam at home to add more. That said, I'm still glad this restaurant is here representing the Filipino community. It's wonderful that they host gatherings and bring people together. I do think there's room for improvement, especially when it comes to showcasing Filipino food well for those who may be trying it for the first time.

I'm Korean and grew up with Korean food in Chicago, so I know what the real thing tastes like, and this is the real thing. I got the soondae stew and it completely hit the spot. The flavor profile was so authentic and satisfying!! Came out boiling still, so fresh. The banchan selection was great too and the waitress was really sweet about bringing more if you wanted. My only small note is that I wished the side dishes came out a little earlier rather than alongside the main food, because I was starving by the time everything arrived! But that's a minor thing. There's also a karaoke spot right next door that I heard gets pretty lively at night. I haven't made it over there yet but that is absolutely next on my list.

I was surprised by how fast and friendly the staff was. The jjajangmyeon is vegetarian and this was very similar but just slightly lighter than the Korean one. Still so delicious. The fried tofu is an absolute must order. I don't know how they got it that crispy and crunchy, but it was perfectly flavored too. The grilled tofu was also really good and flavorful.
