Naturally, that ruined it for all of us -- once you see that, you don't want to eat anything else from there. We had already spent $28, and none of us even wanted to touch our shaved ice after that. What made it worse was the staff's attitude. There was no apology, no "sorry," no sense of concern at all. They acted like it didn't matter, and that lack of basic customer service was just as disappointing as the ants themselves. Between the unsanitary Shaved Ice and the complete disregard from the employees, this was a terrible experience. Definitely won't be coming back, and I'd warn others to think twice before spending money here.

Very interesting name, and eye-catching. So we had to pull over and take a photo of the sign. Since we had just eaten, we weren't in the mood for the cone, but we had a great conversation with the owner, Christopher Michael. He makes all his flavors on his own, personal recipes. If you're expecting a snow cone with chunks of ice and store bought syrup poured over it, forget it. The ice was finely shaved, and the flavor was all through the ice, almost like the taste of heaven on snow. An excellent surprise and worth driving a few miles for. As we talked more, Christopher owns a local business, and has been trying to work with local leaders to get a place for the local kids to hang out, do sports, etc, but hasn't been very successful in getting city leaders to agree. So, he did what every other single bright intelligent entrepreneur would do. Start a business to get money to do just that! So, that's what this business is for, to make money to help the youth of his community! A true community leader, realizing that the kids are the future of their town. So . . . . . GO!!! GET THERE NOW!!! As for the name? Interesting story, as he wants to show that his cones are the BEST and he's cocky about it! So, therefore the name COCKI CONES!!!! Got me to stop.
