I used to take my Sophia to Murphys Corner but it's really busy and hard to get them on the phone to schedule. My mom came here with one of her dogs and so I decided to try them. It's a small office, but typically quick with appointments. I will say it makes me a little nervous when they bring her back and I can't see her (she's been there a few times to get a pain shot), but this is common for smaller clinics. I noticed in the reviews that some people mentioned that it's expensive or that things add up higher on the invoice than they expected. I have not had this experience. This is one of the only two vets I've found in Snohomish county that keep their prices affordable. It also can be pretty easy to get an appointment here. read more

Don't take your pet here if you want them alive. My dog Koda was experiencing pain, the vets at this clinic wrote it off as joint pain and gave Koda pain medication to manage the symptoms. They ran a blood test that came back as normal, but no further tests. Yesterday, Koda had a seizure that resulted in an emergency vet visit. He didn't make it. The vets at the ER said it was likely an issue related to his brain; and brain tumors are common in Boxers. I would expect vets to know this, but the vets at Sno-King never looked into it. If he has received proper diagnosis and care, he may still be alive today. This was malpractice. read more

Unsure how you can hide my google review from the public. You ended Keefer's life too early from a lack of oxygen. Recept said 45 min surgery 30 minute gas. Keefer passed away from lack of oxygen the last 15 minutes of surgery during closing sutures. Stop sending me a bill, im not paying because you refused to answer simple questions regarding Keefer's UNEXPECTED outcome. He did fantastic during surgery i was told, and your ego dr. mark told me surgery went great. I pray to God you didn't harm my companion. Stop harassing me with your bills. read more

Sent us home with incredibly wrong and dangerous information about feeding schedules and weight-loss management for cats. I was here for my 7 month old kitten Neutering, male Siamese cat. Incredible experience, staff was very helpful and friendly. They complimented my cats well behavior and the carrier I bought. I want to share my exceptional experience with Sno-King vet clinic with all the pet parents out there who are looking for neuter/spay services for their kiddos. I don't leave reviews normally, but my journey to finding affordable surgery for my new cat was arduous enough that I thought this review will help someone someday. As a background, I'm not eligible for income-based services offered by seattle humane or feral cat spay/neuter projects, etc; and at the same time, I cannot spend multiple hundreds to a thousand bucks on neutering my cat. I'd done my research and received quotes from 10 different clinics from Greater Seattle area to even Tacoma, and decided to take my cat here for his surgery. Firstly, you may notice that Sno-King does not have a website, but don't let that discourage you from working with them. It took me a simple 2-min phone call with the clinic to discuss our needs, the cost estimates, scheduling and what to expect. They were upfront and transparent with all of the information they shared with me, which is very reassuring. Secondly, I was thrilled to find out they were able to get us in within a week. But more importantly, they offer same-day exam, neuter and pickup, which I thoroughly appreciate given my busy work schedule. For reference, other clinics that I spoke to didn't even let us schedule the neuter until we establish care and have an initial exam separately first. We were looking at a 2-month wait time for a routine neuter, which was absolutely ludicrous in my opinion. Thirdly, the price is very reasonable. My cat had an exam, same-day neuter, 2 vaccines, and a post-op cone for just over a couple hundred dollars. Although the facility is not the fanciest, no waiting lounge area like some other clinics that I've been to (which I don't expect and never understood that concept anyway - I personally do not wish to lounge and have a coffee or a snack at the vet), it's very clean and efficiently set up. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, a very positive, BS-free experience. My cat is doing well 1week postop. I'm seriously considering transferring my other 2 cats' care here. I brought my 8-year old Great Dane there for teeth cleaning and couldn't be happier. When I called to make an appointment, they were able to get us in the next day. The staff was really nice and they cleared the office so I could bring Oliver in since he can be dog-reactive. They did pre-anesthesia blood work, general exam, sedation, tooth cleaning, sealant and a nail trim for $500. The other vet I was going to use quoted me $1600 "at the low end" which you know is code for "be prepared to pay a LOT more." Oliver had a quick and easy recovery from the sedation and ate dinner like a champ. The doctor found that Oliver had an ear infection during his exam and sent him home with antibiotics. I found our new vet and it's worth the 20-minute drive. read more

I am a big fan of Dr. Call. He is super experienced, practical, personable and the most reasonable vet when it comes to price. I met Dr. Call 3 years ago through my work as a foster for a dog rescue because he was one of the vets the rescue used often. When I adopted a dog (foster-fail), Dr. Call became my dog's vet and eventhough I moved almost 1 hr away I continue using his services. In fact, my dog got a nail infected yesterday and in a matter of 10 hrs his leg swolled up a lot! I knew I had to get him in ASAP. I was able to get an appointment at Sno-King Vet the next morning. I know this is not always the case but finding a same day appointment is hard with all vets! Specially those who will not charge you an arm and a leg just to get you in the door. Dr. Call is great! Vca wanted to book a surgery immediately and quoted me up to $10,000. And snoking thought it wasn't bad enough to have surgery and then went on to say if he did need it down the line it would be approximately $1500. Which is a very big difference! Went here because my friend said he has taken his dogs here for many, many years. My kitty has needed to get her teeth cleaned for a while now (she is 4 years old and has never had them cleaned until now) and our vet in downtown Seattle was going to charge us $1500. This place was MUCH more reasonable and completely worth figuring out how we were going to commute there with our kitty. We dropped her off in the morning and she was ready to be picked up by 2 pm. She seemed totally fine and I just have to trust that they did a good job cleaning her teeth. I will say though, we also brought our family's dog here who was not able to walk on his rear leg and they administered a shot to ease the pain but our dog did not really seem to get better from it. He continued to limp on it for 3 more weeks before it probably just healed naturally. read more

Front receptionist was beyond rude when we called to check after hearing no updates all day on our pup. She then told me "well everyone has been called for the day so let me see if something's wrong" and put me on hold! Thankfully nothing was wrong but could you imagine if something was and that's how I was treated? They then brought our dog out and the woman let the door smack into him after he had gone under anesthesia. They brought him out in a bloody and dirty cone and his head was caked in who knows what. I will not come back, they turned what was already an emotional day for us into a nightmare. read more

The "they kill dogs" part is true. We took our almost 5 year old yorkie in to be spayed (highly recommended by this vet to do...) as well as get her teeth fixed/pulled if need be. We knew she had a few bad ones in there. The vet had our 4lb yorkie under for an hour, pulled 12 teeth..... 12!!! Plus spayed her. I'm no vet.... but this seems EXTREME for a small little dog. If she needed 12 teeth pulled.. do that and not the trauma of spaying too. This is too much for a little dog to take. We got her back, vet said everything went fine and she will be out of it for 24 hours. She was out of it all right! She was limp, could not move at all. She was cold the second we brought her home. 4 hours after we brought our angel home, she died a painful death on our couch. She never moved from the spot. She couldnt do anything. Couldn't focus on us. She was slowly dying and we didnt know. This place took my baby from us. Please be aware of this place and go to a well researched vet. Pay the extra money if you have to get the best care possible. In my opinion, they sent my dog home why too quick, did not monitor her well enough, and did not make sure she was safe to go home. my tuxedo is super anxious little guy and has been deemed aggressive on his chart from past offices. well, we went to sno -king vet clinic and the staff were amazing. they were patient with my boy. they let us be in the exam room with my tuxedo. when the vet tech came back with him, he was all cradled up in her arms and didn't look so anxious or "aggressive." she said he's a sweet boy and gave her kitty kisses. and just anxious but sweet boy. the prices were reasonable priced on the shots and appointment, and they don't try to make you do a lot of medical stuff that's not necessary. These folks are ALWAYS quick to get my Bella-Rose in when she isn't feeling well. I called Monday first thing to get an appt bcuz my girl was bleeding while going to the bathroom. They were able to get her in the following day. I let Dr. Call know all her symptoms and my worries. He literally came back and said "Pretty positive I know what's going on. Intestinal infection." He then prescribed her two medications. She has gone from lethargic, not eating, not drinking, not using the restroom. To spunky, eating/drinking well, and daily bathroom breaks. She is so cared for when I bring her in. After exam, two medications and a nail trim... BARELY a dent in my wallet. I highly recommend this place. 100%. read more

Horrible office manager. While Dr. Call is a good doctor, his staff is very rude, impatient, talked over me while I asked questions , and charged us for a procedure we didn't agree to. Definitely will not be going back there. A $500 to $800 quote ended up being almost $1200. They still did a procedure that we did not authorize. Make sure you get everything in writing before doing any kind of procedure, and if that procedure is explained to you and you say you don't want something done, definitely make sure that you get the original paperwork back. They flat out lied and denied having the second conversation. Extra extra shady in a very bad way! read more

We've been going to Sno King Vet for 8years. Last year my senior dog got hit by a car. Spent 4 days in an Emergency hospital. It got too expensive so we took him home, he wasn't doing good and I thought about having to put him down but decided to get him checked out one last time by our regular vet, Sno king. Dr. Call told me that we should keep fighting and so we did. One year later, he's still going Strong! This is just one story of how Sno King vet has saved both of my dogs lives. I will forever keep taking them here! They are 15 and 10 years old and I'm sure Dr Call will keep them alive for many years to come. Don't come here. Unless you dont want your animal to be seen right away. The receptionist there is pretty rude too and acts like you are bothering her. They dont even tell you what's wrong with your animal just sends you out quickly with medication no communication at all. Oh and be prepared to have to call multiple times to even try to get an appointment they don't answer there phone! read more

We took our kitten to get spayed there. Staff is super friendly, they have good availability, her surgery seemed to go well, and the bill was fair! Check in and check out was very easy too. The only issue I had is on the day we took her to get spayed we asked if they could check for a bladder infection because her pee has had a little bit of blood in it, when we came to pick her up we asked about it and they said "I don't think so" so I'm assuming they didn't check. I called the day after because her pee was still tinted red and they said it could be normal after surgery and to wait another day to see if it goes away. The next day her pee was still quite red so I called to make an appointment to just get her checked and they got me in the next day. Turns out she did have a bladder infection... which would have been treated days earlier had they checked at her first appointment. read more

I have had dog and cat pets since I was five years old. Now I am 74 years old. So I have worked with many vets over the years. How I am treated as a pet owner as well as how my pet is treated is a big deal. If I feel there is no interest in my questions my reaction is to not trust the vet with my pet. That being said, let me say the staff I have talked to while at the clinic are very friendly. The issue I have is with the vet at that location. If my dog or cat is to have surgery, this is a big deal to me. I want to ask questions of the vet not the technician. I do not want the technician to relay my questions to the vet and then have the tech relay answers back to me. If the needed care is care needed for an emergency, that may not be possible since the care is needed immediately and there may be a rush to attend to the animal. But if the surgery is not an emergency, then I want my questions answered by the vet before and after the surgery. After I met with the vet, I had further questions and I was told over the phone that all future questions would be answered by the vet tech. Now some vets are rushed and can't spend much time answering questions, fine call me at home. And if the client is not familiar with the type of surgery required for the pet there may a number of questions. For instance, what are the risks to the pet if this surgery is performed on an older pet. What if there is a problem with the sutures, what action should the owner of the pet take. If there is an emergency phone to get in touch with the vet at that clinic. How long will the sutures be in. Does the pet have to come back to have the sutures removed. What happens if something unexpectedly happens to the animal during surgery, How successful was the surgery? How long will it take the pet to fully recover. Should the pet have a special diet after the surgery. I could go on. I want answers from the vet not a relay of questions and answers between vet, technician and me the pet owner. There are times when the vet should also volunteer information to the owner even if the owner does not ask the question. Most owners are not familiar with every type of surgery. If a pet is to be neutered this is a common type of surgery. Many others are not familiar to many pet owners. Step inside the shoes of the pet owner. Trust is earned. Pets are some of the most important friends and loved animals in an owner's life. And many women my age are used to being ignored when they have questions. If I had used the vet over a period of years, then trust would be established but if the owner and pet are new to the clinic then time should be put aside to answer questions. I did not know after I had seen the vet, (I had to ask him for his name when I saw him) that after that visit that all questions from that point on would be answered by the vet tech. Writing this review reaffirms my feeling that this vet has no interest in my feelings as a pet owner. I cancelled my pet's surgery a few days ago. read more

I have to say this place and Dr. Call went above and beyond to help us. They are the reason our Great Dane puppy is alive and at home today. We went to so many different vets trying to figure out what was wrong with our puppy and got no answers or any real help with financing any procedures. We had searched and visited and called so many different offices trying to find help for our quickly declining dog. Faced with the options that the other places had given us was to euthanize or surrender our dog because we didn't have the money on hand for them to properly treat her. We were devastated. But someone mentioned this clinic and I called. They asked us to send over the info we had from previous vets findings and they said they could help. My wife drove our puppy down and they stayed after hours to perform an emergency surgery that saved our puppy's life. The Dr even stayed the night with her to monitor her health. Again Dr. Call and the staff there saved our puppy's life. And the only reason she is alive today and home is because you all clearly care more about the animals and their families than just the money or credit. We recently moved to south Everett, and needed to find a vet closer to home. Our 10 1/2 year old Lab has been struggling with arthritis for several years now. She acutely started limping more and got to the point where she would not put any weight on one leg. Thinking she might have injured it, we made an appointment. They squeezed her in, kept her all day, barely spoke to us, I had no contact with the Doctor, very little contact with the tech. They didn't do X-rays, said she might have a soft tissue injury. They gave her some sort of injection, which was a steroid, anti-inflammatory medicine Also said she had an ear infection. Gave her some medicine for that. We dropped her off in the lobby with probably 5-6 other people and their dogs there, all waiting to drop their dogs off. We were told to come back and pick her up at 4:30, we got there and the lobby was full of people with their dogs, coming and going. It was a zoo. Waiting for 20 minutes or more to check her out. There was very little instruction on what to do for her. I will never take her there again. Extremely disappointed in the care she received and the lack of information given to us. We ended up making another appointment and driving an hour away to see our old vet who we love. They charged us $160.00 for medications and drop off Don't go here if you want good information and one on one contact with the Dr. You would probably need to push to get it. read more
