My dog was separated from the main group with two other dogs in an empty kennel. All other workers were supervising other kennels and had only visited within the first twenty minutes. This felt concerning to me as this was my dog's first visit here, and the first time meeting these other dogs. I felt first time visit supervision should've been taken more seriously as these dogs are unfamiliar with each other. During that time, there were many urine spots on the floor that were not attended to and continued to be spread all over the floor. Lastly, the dog he was paired with continued to show inappropriate aggression towards my dog as I noticed through the cam. Open mouth, ears back, cornering behavior, while my dog was pushed against the wall. During those times and after, no supervision or redirection was given as they did not notice and no one was present. My dog is a very non confrontational skiddish guy and will not correct if he is uncomfortable, they were aware of his behavior prior, said he did great and that there were no issues whatsoever with him or any dogs. He also attends daycare regularly at another private daycare facility and has no alarming behavior with friends. With the unsanitary conditions and inappropriate behavior as well as a lack of supervision I would feel uncomfortable leaving my dog in their care again. The staff were nice, helpful, and welcoming; great with the scheduling process yet that's the only thing I can take away from the visit.

I was due to give birth in 5 days and desperately needed somewhere to board my dogs. They have an amazing "interview" process with the dogs where they give a free day of daycare while your dogs are introduced to their surroundings, the other dogs, and the staff. They have an app you can download to watch video surveillance of your dogs. The only downside to this location is that they don't have an outdoor area, so the dogs urinate and defecate in the concrete play yard. While this isn't typically a problem with house trained/older dogs, it's not ideal for puppies. My 7yr dog did fantastic, my 11month old dog came home confused and started urinating on the floor. She seemed to have lost some of her house training while she was boarded for 4 or so nights. This is not a negative review for the facility, just an FYI for owners of young dogs. The staff were all amazing, and the clients that I interacted with all seemed very happy. They give out super cute photo milestones of your dogs too

Re: the guy whose dog was sent home for all-night barking on Christmas: I've known Lucky Dog's owners for years, and if they sent your dog home it was for a very good reason. First, it's located just a few miles from where I live in Monroe/Snohomish. Second their charge to house 2 dogs was far more reasonable than any other places in the area. Lastly, Melissa was responsive to all my calls and emails. Their business is there home so someone is there pretty much all the time. They separate the big dogs from the little ones and everyone has their own place. Plenty of room in the backyard to run and play and they have a pool. I highly recommend Lucky Dog Resort.

My smaller dog had a curvature in his back indicating he had been kept in a crate or kennel that was too small for him, according to my vet. My larger dog had a raging infection, temp of 104 (101 is normal), very high white blood cell count, would not eat...He had to be put in antibiotics. I don't know what happened to my dogs at this place, but it was not good. I would actually say I would give them no stars. My larger dog was so bad that we were talking about euthanasia.

The rest of the staff is very friendly and you can tell they are passionate about caring for the pups. They take any instructions you leave them seriously (such as feeding instructions, specific care, etc). The property is absolutely beautiful and you can tell the design was very intentional and made by someone who loves dogs. Every time we pick up Nugget she acts as if she doesn't even recognize us! She has so much fun and I love getting to see her photos of her time here--she always looks so happy and even makes a couple of new friends. This really is a special boarding facility; it is unlike anything you'll find anywhere else and it is so worth the drive. You really have to see it to see just how impressive the property is. P.S.: if you have a very anxious dog with severe separation anxiety, it's probably best you don't leave them at ANY boarding facility. Consider an in-home pet sitter instead.
