I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with a recent service I received…read more Initially, I contacted the artist to inquire about completing a honeycomb sleeve filling in some empty honeycombs, red , and after agreeing on a price, I arrived to find the shop closed. So I had to drive around, finding the correct location. The artist ultimately worked out of his home. During the procedure, I experienced significant discomfort due to the artist's heavy-handed technique, which resulted in extreme trauma, skin splitting, and a infection that required medical attention and prescription medication. When I requested a refund, citing the trauma and damage caused, along with him going out of the lines and into other artwork with the red ink, the artist declined, stating he would most definitely not refund me so I could forget about that and implied that I had pre-existing wounds. However, I have photographic evidence of the area before and after the procedure, which clearly shows the damage caused by the artist's work. Furthermore, the artist's work deviated from the agreed design, and he damaged adjacent artwork which I need to pay to now get fixed . I am disappointed in the artist's unprofessional response and refusal to take responsibility for the harm caused.

I visited Tracey Roxxane Herrick-Jones. I showed her a couple of ideas, but I really was not sold on any of my own ideas. I explained to her what I was thinking, and within hours, she messaged me and gave me not just great ideas, but she showed me exactly how the color would blend and cover my old tattoo. The work was done, and you can not even tell I ever had a tattoo underneath the amazing new work Tracey completed. I get compliments all the time, and I'm still amazed at how detailed and beautiful this turned out. Next, I had a memorial tattoo done a few years ago of my old LE K9 partner Zar. He was an amazing police K9 and literally saved my life twice from being shot. This tattoo obviously has special meaning to me. The tattoo was done in Ca., but I have always wanted to add a little to it, but I couldn't figure out what would be fitting enough to add, and not detract from my memorial of Zar. I visited Tracey again. I explained what I was looking for, but I had no actual suggestions. She is very intuitive. She added a spectacular addition to the memorial. My third tattoo was a cartoon idea I had of an old-school cop with K9 biting a burglar. To summarize, it was another amazing work of art. Her attention to detail is incredible. Details I never expected, but even many friends noticed and complimented the work along with many people who saw it on a cruise I was on. I give Tracy rave reviews because she is worth every moment you spend with her. I could not be happier with the work. She is a true perfectionist and a professional with an uncanny attention to detail.

Let me lead in with the basics for those of you who don't feel like a long read. Glenn is the best,…read moreand I have (obviously I'm biased) but the one of the coolest tattoo he's ever done. I've gone to him multiple times and will continue to return when I have more money to spend on fun things like tattoos instead of sad adult things like student loans and bills. I came to Glenn fresh 18 (on my 18th birthday actually) and got pierced there multiple times by his apprentice Hannah. From the day I turned 18 I told him about a tattoo I REALLY wanted but it was a very vague concept and I was worried about commitment. Three months before I turned 19 (and several piercings later) I decided to finally take the plunge. All I said was "I want a henna styled world map, in shades of brown." And Glenn like magic drew something better than I could have imagined. He was so nice to me and had no issue with my best friend holding my hand for the duration of the tattoo. I was in love with my tattoo and the experience. I've gotten a handful of other meaningful tattoos from him, but I semi-recently covered up some self harm scars on my thigh with a tattoo of the phrase "I felt like destroying something beautiful" (10 points if you can name that reference!) and the tattoo was healing in a way that I can't describe with words. Glenn told me that he wanted me to promise him I would never cut myself again (I was already three years clean at the time) and I did promise. Glenn is like a cool uncle, the kind that would buy you beer or something as long as you promised not to drive. (this is just an example plz don't go solicit him for booze lol I'm sure he wouldn't give it to you youngsters) Anyway, I love all of my tattoos from Glenn. Even my mom likes his work, so much in fact that she got a matching tattoo with me last year for Mother's Day.
