My whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Called to see if they had they could take a walk in and the guy that answered informed me he was tied up for another hour or so. I decided to go in and check it out about an hour after I called previously. He not only greeted me like I wasn't a pain in the ass, he called another artist in and got me in within the next thirty minutes. The music was spot on too. I'll be back. We set up a time for our daughter to get her nose pierced. We called in Saturday and set up an appointment for 12:30 on Sunday. We showed up on Sunday and they denied services. Told us they needed proof of age, we were willing to text a picture of birth certificate and they said that want good enough. They knew my daughter's age from the moment I made the appointment. They didn't have an issue then, why wait until the moment of the appointment to turn us away? 3 others and I planned 3 months in advance to get small, minuscule tattoos. We call 1 hour before our appointment to confirm and they inform us that our artist hadn't shown up but that we're on the schedule and we're good to go. Then we get there and they tell us there's nothing they can do since the artist decided not to show up to work. Luckily we got our deposit back. So disappointing. It sounds like they're the ones needing to give the deposits since it doesn't look like this is the first time a situation like this has occurred. Then we had to call all the other tattoo shops in CDA and Electric Age was able to get us in ASAP. Go there instead!! read more

Made an appointment for my daughter to get her nose pierced. Spoke with them sever times on the phone to confirm the appointment. They were aware of her age, when we showed up they said they needed proof of age and refused to use a picture of her birth certificate as proof of age.although we had had an appointment and spoke to them several times over the phone they refused services to us and at this point after all we went through to get this appointment it is my belief that they turned us away on racial bias. I am Latina and they didn't refuse us services until they saw me. When bringing this problem up to the owner he proceeded to call my boyfriend a drunk and cuss us out.. this is not exactly a local business I feel secure in supporting. read more

Had a friend get a simple tattoo of a few words by this unintelligible "artist" by the name of Jerry who chose to be rude and inconsiderate to The Customer. She simply wanted her tattoo moved a little bit, given the location planned doesn't always turn out the way they hoped. While the stencil was being relayed in new location, which is only centimeters difference, the customer noticed that the word was messed up upon stencil relay. Jerry, the artist, then decided to express how moving the stencil around can mess up the outcome. Unprofessional to say the least, but then continued to tattoo with messed up stencil lay instead of just making a new stencil. The outcome was that Jerry ended up not only spelling the word "day" wrong, but put "away" instead, as if he didn't even know what he was tattooing. After finishing the incorrect tattoo, the customer asked if it were possible that she comes back to get it fixed or touched up at least. Artists who respect their art, are willing to do touch ups for free, which is the honorable thing to do. Jerry insisted and informing the customer that not only will she not be getting a free touch up for the "artist", Jerry, inconsistencies, he was going to charge her as it were a new tattoo. This is a horrible method for returning customers, let alone potential advertising of a respectful artist. Monetization of art is the death of passion and love for art. read more

Wow!!! This place is amazing. Everyone that works here is so friendly and makes you feel super comfortable. The environment is super clean and has awesome decor. My artist's name is Travis and it was my first time with this artist. He is very professional and has such an amazing talent. He made me feel included on the design and was super personable. It was about a 4.5 hr session and Travis always checked in to make sure I was doing good. He really cares about his work and wants to make sure it is something that you will cherish forever. It's not the shop itself fault. It's the owner and the artist I worked with. If the owner would actually hire reliable tattoo artists I would consider returning because there is real talent in the shop. But unfortunately lucky hired a gentleman who worked in his Seattle location to come work here. I started a half sleeve tattoo with the artist who said he would be in the location for about a year. I said,"well fair enough. But I like your work and I would love to get as much as work as possible done by you." We made an agreement and I paid the amount I needed. I start my half sleeve, get about half way done. And he needs to leave early due to personal issues. (Which I respect) Fast forward a month, I call multipule times trying to talk to the artist, and every single time the receptionist tells me. "I will give him the message." Another month passes. I decide that I am just going in to try and speak with him, because I understand people get caught up and maybe he was too busy at the time. That's ok. But I get there and they tell me that he took off back to another state. And of course I'm upset because now I have a half finished tattoo on my arm and I need to find another artist to finish it. Anyways, they send pictures to the gentleman to see if we can possible work something out. Then I'm basically told to pound sand and that its my problem now. It's a real shame because there is a lot of talent in the shop, and well. This experience ruined it for me. read more
