The location is cleverly tucked around the corner from the Hibernian Irish Pub, with subtle arrow signs guiding you there -- discreet enough that you'd never stumble upon it without doing your homework first. Inside, the ambiance delivers: cozy, warmly lit, with seating for various group sizes and a handsome L-shaped bar anchoring the space. It was a Saturday evening and relatively quiet when we arrived, so we expected attentive service. Unfortunately, it never came. We sat at a two-person table just off the bar with a direct sightline to the staff -- plenty of whom were engaged in extended personal conversation with one another. Our first round was a highlight: a well-made Old Fashioned and a solid Dirty Martini. Pricey for the area, but not unreasonable given the setting. It was downhill from there. After finishing our drinks, we had to flag down our server for a second round -- despite the fact they were standing six feet in front of us. After that second round, we'd seen enough. Getting the check proved equally frustrating; multiple attempts at eye contact with the staff went nowhere, and we ultimately had to walk up to the bar to close out our tab ourselves. Maybe a list of a dozen singers ahead or so... HOWEVER.... Long story short, never happened. After over two and a half hours of waiting to be called up, we saw obvious friends of the KJ getting to sing three songs apiece, as well as join in a couple of times with other people who got the same privilege. Five songs for them, none for the seven in our group. KJ even said "Sometimes we just don't have enough time." Yeah. Awesome-not-awesome. Glad we all tipped you 3-5 dollars in advance to not breathe once into the microphone while he just shrugged his shoulders. Glad your friends got to have a good time while other paying customers got crapped on. Glad to not have your business again. Glad to hope this post doesn't get deleted by the owner/management for making a group of service industry folk feel entirely dismissed.

I had to ask if we just sat ourselves. No menu or attention until asked for it. The food was lacking at best. Just a "smash burger" and cheese sandwich for my partner. Water to drink. Since I visited the day after Christmas there was still holiday decor up. The did play a small selection of NY based music which I did appreciate which music from other regions which I also enjoyed. What I didn't enjoy too much was my drink. She showed us how to use the lanes and all of the different games. The thing I like the most is that there was about eight different games to choose from. Everyone in there seemed very pleasant and in good spirits. The bartenders were very friendly as well. I had sandals and they actually even provided Crocs so that you don't have open toes while playing. After I return them I saw them put them in the dishwasher thing which is good because you know that they sanitize them! You play by time frame. Parking was easy for us because there was a spot right when we pulled up but I could see it might be an issue if it was busy for that area at that time, however it worked out for us.
