Snooze has a very specific and well-branded aesthetic. They're going to a kitschy, 70s vibe. I love it and they have an all around great menu as well. I'd say it lives in between a diner and like an upscale brunch spot. I've not been to this location in town yet and it was good. Our server was great and v attentive. We left happy and full! I'd def recommend this spot if you want a good bfast spot. There's usually a wait if you don't go super early, as an FYI. Consistency! I started going to Snooze when they opened their first restaurant in San Diego, CA and it's nice to try them in a different location and find consistency in the quality of the food. I was fortunate enough to live walking distance from Snooze when I lived in San Diego and was pleased when I found this one after moving to Austin. I finally had a morning break and decided to give this location a try. The interior is similar to other Snooze restaurants I've been too and fortunately, I was able to just walk in and grab a seat at the counter. The person at the bar greeted me and took my drink and food order (I always get the same thing). I like their freshly brewed tea and for my breakfast, I like egg whites scrambled with goat cheese, mushrooms and spinach. My meal was brought out promptly and it's a generous portion with a slice of toast (I get sourdough) and a patty of hashed browns. I truly enjoy going out for breakfast and hands down, Snooze is always my favorite. The food is always delicious! I could order the exact same meal from another restaurant but something about the way Snooze prepares it, it just tastes so much more amazing. And their hash browns... I honestly wish I could make them the way they do. I'm sure it's something simple, but they are unique. It isn't just the nice round shape but they aren't greasy like most places would serve. The only downside to Snooze is there isn't one closer to where I live :) I'm hoping the area of Austin I'm living in will develop enough the company will build another one. I personally think Snooze is worth the hype! As someone who is indecisive when it comes to food, I picked the Benny Duo which allowed me to pick two types of egg benedicts and I went with the habanero pork belly & bella! bella! benny. Both were delicious but my favorite was definitely the habanero pork belly benny. It also came with hash browns that were pretty good. The next time I went, I got a seasonal sweet potato hash and it was a great mixture of textures and flavors. My only grievance is that the portion was quite small. The coffee & drinks were too pricey for how they tasted so I would recommend just sticking with water. Just note that weekend brunch waits take FOREVER so if you know you plan to eat here beforehand, sign up on the Yelp waitlist before you get ready. The sausage looked like canned cat food bits, and I was given a pinch of spinach, maybe 12 leaves. I added on a vegan banana pancake, which had zero banana flavor and was half the size of one pancake for half the price of two full sized pancakes. I shouldn't have gave them a chance after the last time when I found a hair in my flavorless scrambled eggs and my pineapple upside down pancakes that had very little resemblance to any pineapple upside down anything, again employing small pineapple chunks, sparingly throughout the pancake. The place is mobbed even on weekdays with crowds waiting in the courtyard to get a seat. The crowd is not crazy. What Snooze does, it does well. That counts for a lot. * * * I did an avocado toast with poached eggs on top. The killer-diller-thriller was sun dried tomatoes and some sort of subtle sweet jelly under the poached eggs. Sun dried tomatoes definitely make my day. And all the other parts of my avocado toast were fine. The love of my life had poached eggs and pancakes with fresh berries on them. She gave a thumbs up for the eggs, the pancakes and the fresh berries. * * * Other notes. The room is charming in a 1950's modern kind of way. The coffee is respectable. If you want a mimosa, they have mimosas in every flavor in the universe. I didn't check for passionfruit-pumpkin-spice-tangerine-ripple ... but I think they got it. Snooze is a chain from Colorado, but a well executed one that just did UAL uses on breakfast. Creative eggs Benedict's with a really nice combo o potion. Fast service, incredible pancakes. Snooze is definitely more of a basic place to get brunch, but you really can't go wrong. Their food is pretty consistent, and there are so many options to pick from. I love the fact that their menu is so extensive because a lot of smaller brunch places have limited selection, and often times, you'll find that nothing on the menu really catches your eye. I've been to Snooze around 3 or 4 times, and each time, our waiter/waitress is really nice and helpful! I love that they're currently doing an online payment system. Snooze has really long wait lines during the weekends, so I would definitely keep that in mind if you decide to make the visit. read more

Sadly they no longer have the smoked salmon which was my fav goto there, but still some other good options.
