The breakfast/brunch selections at Snooze are extensive and very tasty. It's a favorite spot for my son with food allergies because they have great dairy-free/egg-free options. He was able to enjoy tofu scramble with sour dough toast, hash browns and vegan pancakes. He relished every bite. I had the egg-white scramble with peppers, spinach, asparagus and onion with a chicken sausage Patty. It was very good. We both enjoyed a blackberry limeade mocktail, which were delicious and refreshing. Service was a little slow for a weekday morning, and I don't like that they don't bring the food out all at once at the table (mine came before my son's). Their rewards program is great. read more

I've been to Snooze three times so far (twice on Lamar and once at the new location up north) and this is still by far my most favorite breakfast spot especially to enjoy with out of town guests. Wide variety of unique, flavorful entrees and quality drinks, too. Snooze has a very specific and well-branded aesthetic. They're going to a kitschy, 70s vibe. I love it and they have an all around great menu as well. I'd say it lives in between a diner and like an upscale brunch spot. I've not been to this location in town yet and it was good. Our server was great and v attentive. We left happy and full! I'd def recommend this spot if you want a good bfast spot. There's usually a wait if you don't go super early, as an FYI. I personally think Snooze is worth the hype! As someone who is indecisive when it comes to food, I picked the Benny Duo which allowed me to pick two types of egg benedicts and I went with the habanero pork belly & bella! bella! benny. Both were delicious but my favorite was definitely the habanero pork belly benny. It also came with hash browns that were pretty good. The next time I went, I got a seasonal sweet potato hash and it was a great mixture of textures and flavors. My only grievance is that the portion was quite small. The coffee & drinks were too pricey for how they tasted so I would recommend just sticking with water. Just note that weekend brunch waits take FOREVER so if you know you plan to eat here beforehand, sign up on the Yelp waitlist before you get ready. There is a free parking garage which is great. The food was good. The pancakes and bacon but different were the stars. The table favorite was the sweet potato pancakes. Second visit today. This place is an overpriced Denny's. They use fancy names to sell flavorless food. Clearly for the hungover drunk crowd. I ordered some type of hash brown mess, which was supposed to get "ehancements" I chose spinach and sausage. The sausage looked like canned cat food bits, and I was given a pinch of spinach, maybe 12 leaves. I added on a vegan banana pancake, which had zero banana flavor and was half the size of one pancake for half the price of two full sized pancakes. I shouldn't have gave them a chance after the last time when I found a hair in my flavorless scrambled eggs and my pineapple upside down pancakes that had very little resemblance to any pineapple upside down anything, again employing small pineapple chunks, sparingly throughout the pancake. She gave a thumbs up for the eggs, the pancakes and the fresh berries. * * * Other notes. The room is charming in a 1950's modern kind of way. The coffee is respectable. If you want a mimosa, they have mimosas in every flavor in the universe. I didn't check for passionfruit-pumpkin-spice-tangerine-ripple ... but I think they got it. Snooze is definitely more of a basic place to get brunch, but you really can't go wrong. Their food is pretty consistent, and there are so many options to pick from. I love the fact that their menu is so extensive because a lot of smaller brunch places have limited selection, and often times, you'll find that nothing on the menu really catches your eye. I've been to Snooze around 3 or 4 times, and each time, our waiter/waitress is really nice and helpful! I love that they're currently doing an online payment system. Snooze has really long wait lines during the weekends, so I would definitely keep that in mind if you decide to make the visit. read more

Sadly they no longer have the smoked salmon which was my fav goto there, but still some other good options. The eggs were done right! Perfect and not overcooked. Drinks! Loved the mimosa size and price. Bloody Mary was a little disappointing. I'm from chicago and been in Austin a year.
