Most dry cleaners if you arrive before 9, they can get it done the same day. I was promptly told that their cut off is 8. Ok...no problem. Mind you I walked in with an arm load of clothes. I than asked if they could make an exception for this one suit. Everything else wasn't needed. The woman took it reluctantly and said it would be extra. Ok rush job...extra. Ok. She than said "$20...cash only" Really? In looking at your card machine. "Rush job...cash only" What is she the Cleaners Nazi (like soup Nazi from Seinfeld). I actually thought I must be getting Punk'd. I return to pick up my suit and I wanted to make sure I was clear on the payment method. As I was looking at a fully operation card machine. She and her husband (I'm assuming) said yes cash only for rush jobs. I promptly paid them and let them know I wouldn't be returning. That was poor customer service both in their tone of voice and putting stipulations based on a "rush job." His response was "Ok...we don't need you to come back". You don't have to tell me twice. I'm new to the neighborhood. They won't be getting my family's business again. By the way, they wouldn't get any stars, but I had to give them one to post this.

The price was well over the rate for patches to be sewn on. By this point I was frustrated and told them I would just come and pick it up. They responded ok. When I arrived I was then informed that my vest was not there and that they would not have it until the next day. I was never informed that this was being outsourced. Even when I told them I was coming to pick it up I was not told that it was not there. This was bad communication and terrible customer service. I am not sure what the cleaners side of things are like but for alterations it is a no go. I should have just drove the extra distance and went somewhere else. I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt because it was convenient. Never again, lesson learned.

This is my cleaners of choice in the Stockbridge area. They can work as quickly as needed, and do a…read moregood job of working on any stains that you point out to them on the items you drop off. The staff is always pleasant, prices are reasonable, and a typical turnaround time is a few days. You can, however, pay a rush fee for next day pick up. I did this the first time I ever used them, and it was a lifesaver. Because this is located in a large shopping complex, there's always plenty of parking available near the storefront. I also appreciate that they will send text messages from time to time with specials they're running. For instance, maybe they're doing a special where blazers are a lower price or a certain percentage off for a period of time.

Frankly they do an incredible job. Partly because Dennis has a lifelong career of being in the clothing business - from manufacturing to fabric care. When it comes to how to handle a garment, a stain , a whatever - he knows exactly what needs to be done. It's been a part of his daily life for 50 years. He also does the little things that delight his customers like: Always finding and removing spots (without my having to point them out) Collar protectors for dress shirts, so the collars don't get flattened or out of shape Folding sweaters perfectly on hangers so the necks don't stretch Tying the garment hangers together so I can easily hold them when taking home.
